The project that I'd like to see you do is to make game boards & pieces out of that awesome supply of off cuts that you're hoarding. A chess/checkers set, a backgammon set, a cribbage board, etc. Storage boxes for the various game sets... Maybe even a gaming table. It's a light hearted recreational theme. And... it uses those beautiful off cuts!
One of the best tools you have in your shop is Scott. He is awesome because he will say what he is thinking regardless of his job lol. Love ya work Scott.
I think the #1 thing I've learned from Cam is fixing mistakes in a way that nobody will ever notice...I dropped a square table leg, chipped the corner and fixed it with the same grain cutoff today based on his techniques 🙌
I have no preference for future projects but I do like these all wood pieces. This turned out beautiful. I love the feet, birds are great. Looks like a dinosaur foot is a compliment really.
I think majority of us are in the same boat😂 at this point it aint really even bout the woodworking. If Cam starts doing welding etc it would be just as entertaining and interesting to watch
Project - Have you made anything with drawers yet? As a brit, I love the proper chamfer pronunciation - thank you! The table looks stunning (avian feet and all) - keep up the great work
I'm a power carver and I love it. I enjoy not only the craftsmanship but the artistry. As far as other comments, the best piece of advice I ever got was what anyone else thinks was none of my business!!😅
My dad was a woodworker for a living. 90% of what he did was built ins. Home offices, big TV units back when tube TVs were a thing. Now it’s all fireplace surround built ins. I didn’t follow him into the trades but always had to help when I was in school. When I started doing more diy stuff to my house he bought me 2 tools - festool track saw and a domino. Told me I would use them all the time. He’s right, 2 of my most used. He’s. A festool shop and he’s worn those things out. He’s on number 2 or 3 of each. Domino is an amazing tool
Love to see you make a bed frame , it’s a personal object that you spend a lot of time in. It needs strength and toughness to last , but also soft and welcoming. Has lots of elements to think about too, side tables built in or stand alone , under bed storage or stand alone . Head board? List goes on and on. A table you eat at , a desk you work at, a bed you rest at.
Exelente trabajo.! eres muy profesional y enseñas bien cada paso...me suscribi porque quede impresionado con tu obra y quiero ver mas ... saludos desde Uruguay
you commenting about the treehouse made me think about my own treehouse, which has me thinking that you should make something that brings people back to their childhood. no specifics yet, but ill follow up later. i love your work and am trying to start woodworking myself, but im just a kid. thanks!!!
I loved your comments on the types of birds feet type made me laugh. Honestly though I do love watching your videos and you do a great job narrating them 👍🏼
A *unique* coffee table. Bonus points for hidden storage! FWIW: My ex husband was into woodworking and made us some nice custom pieces including a full kitchen remodel. I personally don't do woodworking but I admire your craftsmanship and effort.
Great piece! I love power carving because you don't have to get the edges and joins 100‰! How about making a chess board with space for the pieces underneath?
I love it! Sometimes the best projects are the ones you just wing. That is such a nice little table, the figure is amazing! Nice to see you trying different styles and types of furniture.
Hey Cam! I just wanted to say I love your channel and watch all of your vids and I think it would be really cool if you had your signature of Black Tail on each one of your pieces. Like a wood burnt signature to add some character and put a label on your pieces and make them even more abstract... Just an idea!
I love your work and how much time and care you put in your projects! I feel like when you get hate comments, it's because some people just have a need to tear people down.
Watching a new video from you is definitely a great way to end the week. I'd love to see another project where you combine many smaller pieces of wood into something larger.
I think the table is beautiful. The figuring is divine! The foot suits it, not overdone and well carved. You should be proud of all of your creations Cam!
Something small and utilitarian… you have such a beautiful way with attractive wood - what might you do with a functional piece. Not furniture, something small and usable; tea caddy, knife box, remote control caddy… Honestly - doesn’t really matter because you content and commentary are EVERYTHING!
The table turned out really nice! Especially the fact that it's all from scrap wood makes it all that much more appealing. PS: It does look like a bird foot, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. The project I would like to see you do is to use pallet or cheap wood and make a tiered wooden plant stand, for small house plants, and give it that finish you do which makes all your pieces works of art!
The project which I would like you to see do is some long table about a 3 meters long. 🤓 I love the airy design of it. For me its cool piece of carving table. 😎
I’d like to see you make an old fashioned revolving book case. I love all your videos and I am amazed at how much physical effort goes into your projects. When you casually mention how you spent 6 more hours sanding that table before applying the finish I always shake my head. There’s no way I could do that. I don’t have that much patience or strength. Keep up the good work!
Me gustaría ver una mesa con epoxi que brilla en la obscuridad, vi a otro carpintero hacerla y me sorprendió mucho... Sos crack Cam!!! Quedó genial!!! Abrazos y éxitos desde Argentina!!! 💪💪💪🙌🙌
New to your channel. Have given up woodworking when I moved to the Middle East. Might try to find some carving. I like your style of presentation and descriptions. Beautiful work. Keep it up.
The project I would like to see next is for you to coach Scott through a project. Blacktail shop class! Seriously though, you can do whatever. I love your work!
Love the table, love the use of the scraps its hard to throw away and even after you mentioned someone thought it looked like a chicken foot i didn't see it that way. For me its a nice organic shape. Good work, good channel. Thank you.
I really enjoy your videos and am nearing completion of a workshop that will allow me to complete some long needed projects for our new home, where we have retired, in the mountains of North Carolina. First up is an epoxy dining table that will be used by me and my bride 90% of the time, but will need to expand to feed at least 8 on occasion. We are restricted to locate the table in an alcove that is 9’ 5” in length. That will work fine when there are two of us. With a larger crowd, we would be able to move the table out into the room, but will need to add extensions on one or both ends. The challenge is how to add the extensions so they look good in either configuration. I have purchased your epoxy table course and have studied it. I have viewed every video of yours that I can find. I believe I saw mention at some point of a table you built that sounds like what I am describing, but I can not locate it. Am I dreaming? Do you have any suggestions that might help me with my project. Thanks for all you do for the woodworking community.
Watch all the way through and I have no suggestions, but LOVE your videos. I don't have your talent and it is very enjoyable watching a skilled craftsman.
Oooo that came out stunning... and i honestly love the contrast in the top and the bug hole. the plug doesnt look like a cover up but more of a secret signature. like everything is so perfect so that little imperfection is charming.
your best vid yet! loved how informative it was. if i could make one comment on the design of the table it would be that instead of 4 feet there should only be 3. better for stability. also will look sleeker.
Every project you make is one I like to be honest! I think it would be fun to experiment more with colors - like how you did with the blue table and how you’ve been working with denim. Maybe you could make a “quilt” table made from quilting fabric!!! I loved this table you did it’s so stunning the base is so interesting and beautiful and I don’t get “bird foot” from it at all!! ❤
Your carving made me think maybe a vortex or gallaxy of some kind may be an interesting project with big sweeping spirals, rather than small details. This could possibly take the final form of a round or oval table top with an epoxy center to flatten out the surface (clear if you love the center of the vortex or opaque if you dont?) or maybe rhe vortex gets filled by a mirror and it becomes a wall hanging? Or to go crazy a bunch of smaller mirrors creating an insane effect around rhe edges? Ok I've said enough. Love the table feet, especially the exposed dominos, what a "happy accident"!
How about making some inlaid boxes? It's nice that you make so many styles of tables but why not try something smaller. Scott does a fantastic job filming everything. Best to you both, and thanks for sharing.
I agree so much about the higher grit sanding. I almost always go up to the 300s or 400 grit & have never had issues with finish adhering...and it makes a huge difference in the look and feel of some woods.
Could you try using petrified wood? maybe as an "island" in an epoxy "river"/"lake"? Also, that table is very nice. I thin it looks amazing 👌. I like the legs, the finish, the stem. And even the whole idea of using off cuts is awesome 🤟. Thanks for all the content.
I recently did a small 2 door book cabinet piece out of white oak for the American Cancer Society, i was given hand cut outs of card stock that kids colored and painted of their own hands. In which i glued and epoxy’d over the hands on top of the cabinet. It was a complete nightmare and everything that could go wrong did go wrong. It was a donation and i was honored to work on the piece and sad to see some of the hand sizes. Needless to say it was an emotional project because i kept striving for perfection and in the end i ran out of time before the deadline to the auction. Maybe trying to reach out or do something of similar style. All the hands on the piece made the project look crazy and not at all an attractive piece, but the hands around it told a story. With your dialogue and creativity, I’m sure you’d be able to donate and get a great outcome from your skill set.
The project we would like to see is anything you do, keep doing. That book cabinet was very cool. Denim stuff is cool. I watch your videos more than a few times.
I absolutely love that base. It's so pretty and it doesn't remind me of chicken feet. It more reminds me of the stem of a plant. Or something more organic like that.
One project I'd like to see your take on, is outdoor/patio furniture...I know, not your thing; but with summer coming up, at the very least it might encourage you and everyone else to spend a bit more time outdoors, and that's usually a good thing for people nowadays... Just a thought. I'll end up watching anything you put out though. Yes the work you do is "Next Level", but it's also entertaining, interesting, and inspiring. So, thanks for all that bud.
Love the table. And have to agree with you. Milwaukee is leading the charge with tools ( especially for woodworking) but I have to say the ridgid is in second place. If you get a chance you should look into ridgid. That is my main tool line and the battery nail guns are a larger format then what I have seen in the other formats
I’m active duty military and soon to be retired.. I’m a structured troop (fancy word for carpenter) but every once in a while we do what we call fine carpentry.. or what you did here.. and I like how you make it look easier than it is but gives me some hope that I can do projects like this and maybe make some side money.. beautiful piece!
I'd love to see more denim projects. Also love the way the Dominos came out on the underside. The little crosshairs they created added a cool touch. Keep up the great work!
I was genuinely wondering why you favour epoxy over regular wood glue, and bam you answered it immediately, love how this one turned out. Can't wait for the anisodactly table project.
How about a modern spin on a traditional New England colonial tavern table, love the look it reminds me of a new take on an old candle stand and 👍👍 on the avian anatomy lesson!!
(same type table, glass top (button knob for threadsert) Great job on the carve Cam. Multi-piece glue ups make good use of left overs for sure, always a hidden surprise waiting.
I like this one a lot, it would look really good with a 4 way book match top. You should do a bigger version with maybe 5 or 6 legs. Or maybe a root like bottom with an epoxied cookie on top.Ask Goby if they have a pair of suitable sequential cookies follow the grain for the base on one, and epoxy the other. Could be a really cool project.
I like this table. I think you did a nice job of the design as well as the construction. I watch your other channel, but this is my first time to watch this one. Keep it up.
A project I would like to see you try is to continue surprising us because you are so talented. And yes, people are ignorant and like to hear their ownselves talk. Especially when they have nothing invested in it, or don't even have any experience to do what you do. It must be a miserable life to always find something to complain about to others. Love your work, beautiful table. Legs are not a usual shape but it fits the table. Love the wood grain. Love your work!
Not sure how much of a challenge you would want to take on, but it would be fantastic to see you make an ornamental throne-type chair. I feel like you could really push your creativity with some power carving details.
Hey Cam, I really like the style you're cultivating in your work. I'd really like to see how you would apply that to other types of furniture we haven't seen from you. We've seen desks, tables, a TV console/bookshelf, even a door. With the exception of that last one, those pieces of furniture would usually be accompanied by a place to sit. My first suggestion is you should make a chair. Other RUclips makers seem to regard chair making as uniquely challenging, and I think your audience would enjoy seeing how you would approach it. I know I personally like best the videos where you're working a little outside your depth of experience/competence/confidence. It would also be a great opportunity to do another collaboration with an upholsterer or some other type of craftsman like you did with the original denim table. I don't recall if you even have a lathe, but my other suggestion is to check out something called multi-axis wood turning. Usually we think of turned objects as being radially symmetrical, but with this type of wood turning it's possible to create some wild and organic looking shapes. Barbara Dill has videos showing turnings that look kind of like what you're going for with some of your power carving projects. Check out her work and see what you think! youtube.com/@barbaradill8603?si=LDsJGGR29F5x5g68
Your projects are great, just have fun with the next one 😏 For me it also took some time to get battery powered tools as my "go to". Recently, battery technology got very user friendly - especially with those fast charging ones. And for the last 6 years I had a few tools from Bosh as my work toolkit. Angle grinder, drill and an impact driver. And we used those things in hard conditions too (cold bay storage -23 to -28C). All of them were in my car trunk - heat and cold. And those last 6 years convinced me, how comfortable those things are. And one additional bonus (ok, two). No power cable means your movement is not hindered and additionally, you don't have a power cable in potentially dangerous places. Especially if you use that angle grinder to cut through old wet pipes or a 30 year old expansion tank from your central heating (yup, did that too - slime was allover me and walls around me🥰). Having that low voltage tool in a wet environment is a blessing. I know i could shorten the battery, but it's a bit easiter to grab a smoking batteri in some kind of pincers, then trying to recover after a wonderful shock, you got standing on a ladder while trying to cut a wet water tank (water was drained, but it always leaves a bit in such places).
A chess board with pieces would be insane! Probably wouldn’t be too hard to find a home for either.
What they said..
This is my end of the video wish.
Or a clock for my French movie poster.
Chess chess chess
Yea it would be super cool to do a chess board or something.
One of the best tools you have in your shop is Scott. He is awesome because he will say what he is thinking regardless of his job lol. Love ya work Scott.
scott thought that we wouldnt notice his alt account.
Damn he called Scott a tool 😂
I think the #1 thing I've learned from Cam is fixing mistakes in a way that nobody will ever notice...I dropped a square table leg, chipped the corner and fixed it with the same grain cutoff today based on his techniques 🙌
I have no preference for future projects but I do like these all wood pieces. This turned out beautiful. I love the feet, birds are great. Looks like a dinosaur foot is a compliment really.
Watching your videos is like a therapy - you are Bob Ross in furniture world 😉👍🏻
The Biology sector of your fanbase appreciates your usage of avian foot terminology!
very cute 😊
I don’t even do any wood working and just love watching your channel. Keep up the great work!
Same fr fr
I think majority of us are in the same boat😂 at this point it aint really even bout the woodworking. If Cam starts doing welding etc it would be just as entertaining and interesting to watch
Same
Ditto.... love watching wood come back to life but it's the humour I wait for 😊😊
Excelente, como todos los resultados que he visto de tu trabajo! Tienes mucha creatividad y el acabado final lo demuestra. Genial!!
I love how you shows your mistakes as a professional that makes me learn.
I have to agree with an earlier commenter...a gaming table made with your special skill and attention to detail would be spectacular.
How about a Go-table with nice intricate inlays? You'd make a fortune in Japan!
Project - Have you made anything with drawers yet? As a brit, I love the proper chamfer pronunciation - thank you! The table looks stunning (avian feet and all) - keep up the great work
Love it!! You should totally name it the “Rooster Leg” table!
Absolutely! It looks amazing, but wouldn't look out of place with Baba Yaga's house on it
Just needs to add a spur!
I'm a power carver and I love it. I enjoy not only the craftsmanship but the artistry. As far as other comments, the best piece of advice I ever got was what anyone else thinks was none of my business!!😅
Ha ha! New quip for me!

Give a good old rocking chair a go with all those scraps!
Carved table looks the goods.
Definitley a rocking chair!
I would love to see Cam make a rocking chair
Exelente trabajo.! eres muy profesional y enseñas bien cada paso...me suscribi porque quede impresionado con tu obra y quiero ver mas ... saludos desde Uruguay
you commenting about the treehouse made me think about my own treehouse, which has me thinking that you should make something that brings people back to their childhood. no specifics yet, but ill follow up later. i love your work and am trying to start woodworking myself, but im just a kid. thanks!!!
Good idea kid. I hope he takes it and runs with it
Mind your fingers, they don't grow back
I’m now waiting for a walnut and epoxy soapbox/Billy Cart
Love to see a knife box or jewlry box as something completely different in your arsenal. Keep on keepin on...
Yup, was going to say keepsake box. Go wild and try hand cut dovetails.
I love your work and how much time and care you put in your projects! I feel like when you get hate comments, it's because some people just have a need to tear people down.
Who needs a background music when you got a beautiful soothing voice? 😴
Всегда приятно смотреть на работу мастера. У вас есть стиль.
Not a chicken foot,an Eagle talon. I don't care what you make every week.I love watching you do your thing. Your work always comes out amazing
Amigo mio, es sencillamente expectacular. He tomado nota de todo lo que has hecho, para ponerlo en practica. Magnifico video. Un saludo.
Watching a new video from you is definitely a great way to end the week. I'd love to see another project where you combine many smaller pieces of wood into something larger.

You choose the project but that is absolutely Mac! It’s gorgeous grain is magical! Thanks for sharing Cam

Beautiful Legs looks great and the center screw will hold the top table top with anything that size table is used for.......great video
End domino shame 2024. Make dominos great again.
The project which I would like you to see do is some long table about a 3 meters long. 🤓
I love the airy design of it. For me its cool piece of carving table. 😎
It's beautiful and One-of-a-Kind. Great job.
I’d like to see you make an old fashioned revolving book case. I love all your videos and I am amazed at how much physical effort goes into your projects. That is my favourite piece of your work, looks elegant and timeless. I'm not a big fan of epoxy, I think it will date over time.
I’d like to see you make a table top with at least 3 different types of hardwood. Great work on this piece!
Love the table, love the use of the scraps its hard to throw away and even after you mentioned someone thought it looked like a chicken foot i didn't see it that way. For me its a nice organic shape. Good work, good channel. Thank you.

Oooo that came out stunning... and i honestly love the contrast in the top and the bug hole. the plug doesnt look like a cover up but more of a secret signature. like everything is so perfect so that little imperfection is charming.

Hey Cam, great project. FYI if you need to clamp weird shapes for epoxy, stronger rubber bands can do miracles, e.g. old bicycle inner tubes.
I can’t choose something new because I enjoy every single project that you do. Thanks for the video
I think this table turned out amazing and wish I had it for myself honestly!

I absolutely love that base. It's so pretty and it doesn't remind me of chicken feet. It more reminds me of the stem of a plant. Or something more organic like that.
This is the first project that I could do and have the tools for. Well done as usual
I'd love to see more of these natural-looking designs made with 3 legs instead of 4. Cuz fun fact; Its impossible for a 3 legged object to wobble
The top is absolutely gorgeous!
Love the table. And have to agree with you. Milwaukee is leading the charge with tools ( especially for woodworking) but I have to say the ridgid is in second place. Use whatever tools you have, especially if it is the right tool for the job. Helps others learn about those tools
Está muy linda la mesa y es un buen trabajo felicidades x un nuevo trabajo.
it's a beautiful table built by a very talented carpenter ...thanks for another great clip
Looks so good. I like the finish on the leg. And the comments at the end are just a cherry on top 😀
I’ve never built a table, but I’m going to try this one with some black walnut scraps for sure
Festool tenons showing after carving make an interesting finish detail. How would you work something like that in a table?
I watched all the way to the end. I can't think of a project that I would like you to try but your work is absolutely gorgeous.I love this table
Un tocador de mujer con espejo .
Me gusta tu trabajo . Eres un artista .😁
I just love to watch you create beautiful projects. Thank you.😊
I'd love to see more denim projects. Also love the way the Dominos came out on the underside. The little crosshairs they created added a cool touch. Keep up the great work!
A chair! The table is stunning and surly would fit in my small apartment. 😊 Maybe with some of your scrape you could make frames for paintings.
I'd like to see you make some kind of armoire like tool cabinet, a really cool one. Also I quite like that little table, some fine table there.
I was genuinely wondering why you favour epoxy over regular wood glue, and bam you answered it immediately, love how this one turned out. Can't wait for the anisodactly table project.
I’d love to see what design and techniques that you would come up with in making a serving cart.
A nice elegant little side table Cam. Very nice.
Классный столик !! Браво мастеру!!
Honestly, I'd love to see you try something like a bedframe. I think it would look incredible.
Отличный столик ,а чёрный орех это шедевр
I like this one a lot, it would look really good with a 4 way book match top. You should do a bigger version with maybe 5 or 6 legs. Or maybe a root like bottom with an epoxied cookie on top.Ask Goby if they have a pair of suitable sequential cookies follow the grain for the base on one, and epoxy the other. Could be a really cool project.
I’m game for any wood project. Beautiful table love the foot base, very unique design ❤❤
Love to watch that channel for calming down after a hard day. Keep up the great work and stay as awesome as you are.
I like this table. I think you did a nice job of the design as well as the construction. I watch your other channel, but this is my first time to watch this one. Keep it up.
I'd love to see you make a go/baduk/weiqi board! A bit niche, but it would be worth it for the beauty of it!
Eres genial mi hermano, continúa con tu estilo. Excelentes diseños 👍🏻
Not sure how much of a challenge you would want to take on, but it would be fantastic to see you make an ornamental throne-type chair. I feel like you could really push your creativity with some power carving details.
Hey Cam,
I really like the style you're cultivating in your work.

I actually like this "simple" table more than I thought... Good work again Cam!
Your projects are great, just have fun with the next one 😏
For me it also took some time to get battery powered tools as my "go to".
