Joe Biden has spent more time with China's President Xi Jin Ping than any other world leader. In 2011 Joe Biden visited a local school in Beijing along with Xi Jin Ping. Biden's message from 2011 is drastically different than his current message in 2021...what has changed? In today's video I break down why Biden has changed his stance towards China and unfortunately gone down the same road as Donald Trump.

Trump didn't care about China's internal affairs like Hong Kong or Xinjiang, he was interested in getting his trade deal done. Although he started the US-China trade war and slapped tariffs on China, the Biden Administration did not remove Trump's tariffs, so it makes no difference.
In other words, Trump's re-election in 2020 would result in short-term pain for China yes. But it would magnify the consequences in USA by 4 more years, resulting in a long-term gain for China.

Say what you want about the reliability of these methods, but I hope to show you that opinions can be voiced in China; it’s just not in the traditional ways America does it.

9/4/21 China’s good deeds to human kind are often being mistakenly interpreted by the Western countries.
In China, the purpose of scientific research is to improve people's lives. The Chinese government has sent scientific teams to various urban and rural areas to instruct farmers on how to use the results of scientific research to increase production, promote sales, and help hundreds of millions of farmers out of poverty to become rich. Huawei as a leading technology company in China has contributed considerably in agricultural, breeding and medical diagnosis.
To help improve human life, health, and the environment, China has been selflessly shared and helped others, just like during this pandemic, China took the initiative to provide Covid-19 vaccines and medical supplies to countless countries.

Instead of the CCP joining the league of humanity, the CCP stole our jobs and addicted our weak youth to fentanyl, devastating American families in their mirror-like reverse opium war against America (which is how the British carved out Hong Kong). America's gun problem stems from its long but anachronistic history of the "citizen militia." Unlike China's homogeneous and unified Han culture and society, the American mindset is characterized by individualism ("me, me, me!") and an inherent distrust of other people. This assumption of the worst in human nature fosters an "us versus them" and "us versus the world" mentality that's destructive and ultimately self-defeating.

What I find missing in the analysis is the Chinese contribution the worsening relations. Everything isn't a function of American politics. It is something we are seeing worldwide because other countries has real grievances with the way China operates.

Personally, I as a chinese person, I don't really need china and america to be good friends, but rather be good partners. From my point of view, I think there is no such thing as "allies" there are only interests. I think America and China has pretty similar interest, so why don't we put aside politics and work for the future and the world population instead?

Didn't expect to be sold a toothbrush at the end of all of this 😂 but i completely agree with you Cyrus. US politicians are only interested in asserting their superiority over the opposing party rather than actually doing things to help the American people, and this is true all the way up to the office of the president!
We need to get our of this partisan mindset and start thinking globally 💪🏻

Another very interesting & well-researched presentation Cyrus. Thank you. Although Walmart employs a lot of Americans, I'm sure the military industrial complex does as well. I wonder how many cities & towns in the US depend economically on the military & the multi-billion dollar arms trade. Over 60% of the US federal budget each year goes on military expenditure. For this arms/war economy to be justifiable we need an enemy, a real & present threat. During the cold war we had the Soviet Union, shortly after that ended we had the "war on terror". Now that we're abandoning those battlefields, we need a new foe & China is it, our politicians in the West have decided. At the same time, as you point out, our economies & China's are totally inter-dependent. If China's economy were to tank, the Western world is in big trouble economically & vice versa. There's no way the Western business class is going to agree to "decouple" from China, whatever that even means. No capitalist worth their salt will walk away from the largest consumer market on Earth, namely China. So I think we're going to have a prolonged period of this "schizophrenic" attitude in the West vis-a-vis China. Interesting times ahead! Keep up the excellent work.

IMF has admitted that China's economy is bigger than the US 🔥 However, the West choose to use Norminal GDP as the yardstick to measure economies so that the US looks superior compared to China 💥
China plays along, since they like to stay low profile 😂
China is already the biggest economy, whether you want to accept it, or stay in denial, it's up to you 💥
    ⭐ Analogy:
Norminal GDP is like China has 14 dollars and the US has 22 dollars 🔥
PPP GDP is like China can use their 14 dollars to hire 3000 engineers, while the US can use their 22 dollars to hire 2000 engineers only due to higher cost 💥

    美国对华投资实在是少的可怜,截止去年11月份,这么多年总共投资2万亿+美元。。拜托,这种级别的投资,对于中国这么大的体量来说,简直是太少了。中国的房地产市场总量是80万亿美元。。

Cyrus, have you ever considered your advertisement at the end could hurt your credibility?

    • @CyrusJanssen
      @CyrusJanssen  3 года назад +2

Honestly I haven't and here are two reasons why: 1) accepting sponsors is perfectly normal for RUclipsrs to do, as long as it's done occasionally and with products that the creator genuinely believes in and endorses, I don't see anything wrong with it 2) Being a RUclipsr requires a tremendous amount of hours of research and video editing, accepting sponsors actually helps supplement some of the costs and allows me to produce even more content....thanks for the honest question though! Appreciate your support Shepherd!

@@CyrusJanssen I totally understand your reasons and support your decision. Your contents and presentation are top notch, and I especially love this video. What prompted my question about your inserted advertisement was the appearance of money influence. Frankly, when I recommended this video by forwarding the link to friends, I felt a little embarrassed by the ad at the end. Anyway, your mindfulness of this is good enough for me. I wish you continued success.

@@ShepherdMao No I totally get that Shepherd and I'm glad you asked the question, and I'm happy to share my honest thoughts...I try to make it a well integrated ad, but most importantly deliver value in the overall video....I don't want to appear too spammy, so I make sure the rest of the video is awesome content that people can enjoy! Really appreciate you asking this question and the support!
