Lot of homeless in America right now... Did you know the United States has one of the highest rates of homelessness in the world?? Seems we have plenty of problems within our own country that really does need to be the primary focus of American Tax Dollars.
AIPAC is a private lobbying group, not a recipient of U.S. tax dollars. Banning it wouldn’t affect tax money, and lobbying is protected by free speech laws.
You’d have to educate and convince a lot of Americans to stop AIPAC because for the majority they love to complain and do NOTHING to make changes.

"The [Senate] filibuster is the holy grail of democracy"?! Democracy is about majority rule and the Senate is not about that. First, because of two Senators per state, it gives disproportional voting power to Senators from small-population states, allowing a party to control the Senate without representing a majority of voters. Second, the Senate filibuster requires 60% or 60 members to agree to advance legislation, which is against the idea of majority rule of 50+tie breaker, or 51 & 51%. The House started with a filibuster but realized it was anti-democratic and got rid of it right away.
There is value of not letting a simple majority of 51% change the entire system, which is why we require more than that for Constitutional Amendments. But 60 for everything is ridiculous.
For those who don't think the human race is in a world of trouble you can join the Israeli's and American's in doing whatever you want.

The filibuster is one man rule, not democracy. A compromise might be a larger set of differing minimum votes for various types of legislation to pass than we already have, but no single Senator should hold up the nation. Time is of the essence.
