United States hosts these summits without really offering anything tangible to participants. China hosts these summits while bringing tangible benefits to other participants, such as infrastructure development (i.e roads, railway, highways, bridges, tunnels, etc).
Democracy is not good or bad by itself. It's merely a means to an end. All people want to eat better, live better, be better. If Democracy achieves that end, it's good, if not, it's bad. A case may be made for the ends to justify the means, but means can never justify the ends. Before Libya's color revolution, they had universal healthcare, universal free college education, and free housing upon marriage. After Libya had democracy, their people's social welfare is gone, their living standard dropped, their life expectancy dropped. In this case, Democracy is, in fact, evil, because it achieved an evil end. If you think of Democracy as good, even in cases where it decrease people's life expectancy, it's a sign that you've been brainwashed, and need to make a conscious effort to undo your indoctrination. Gaddhafi's dictatorship that brought universal healthcare, free college, free housing, higher life expectancy to Libya, an African nation, is, objectively speaking, better than the democracy that replaced it. This is an objective truth that debunks the subjective bias we've been brainwashed with since childhood.
Why is the US pushing around Democratic system is to be applied? Isn’t every country FREE to opt their preferences? Why meddle & make trouble to others? That’s insane …
The American adminstrations for the laz 30 years has a "disconnection" problem. Here's an example given by the lndonesian Foreign Minister ... "China ( Wang Yi ) came with gifts and asked 'What do you need?'. America ( Blinken ) came empty handed and TELL US to contain China." China focus on what lndonesia needs, US focus on what itself want at the expense of others. Who do you think lndonesia will lean to?
That a US senator says, about China, "they are eating our lunch" shows the immense scorn of this guy for Latin American countries. If I were american I would be ashamed and if latino-american I would feel insulted. This alone could explain the failure of US policy.
I remember speaking with Africans and Sri Lankans telling me how much they prefer dealing with China. They aren't saying that anymore. The one good thing about COVID was it really opened Africa's eyes about China.

Your statement that america is a two party system at this time is inaccurate. Both parties are essentially the same entity. Paid for by the same donors. Controlled by the same donors. There is currently no discernible "democracy" in america.

About the only thing more disappointing than Joe Biden are the 'progressive' sellouts.
I am from Brazil and the History of US actions in this region has very little to do with improving democracy and human rights. It's pretty much the contrary. China in the other hand does not seems to care about anything except business. China in the last 4 os 5 years has become our biggest economic partner with 2 times the volume of trade if we consider our trade with US and they want more.
@@CyrusJanssen About two years ago our former "ministro das relações exteriores" (the same as secretary of State in the US) Ernesto Araujo, lost his job because he was very open about his position agaisnt China growing influence over Brazil and South America and very openly pro USA. The problem is: in the last 4 or 5 years China has become our biggest comercial partner. When the chinese government demonstrated its disconfort with the public opinions of Ernesto Araújo about China the brazilian government had no choice but let him go. The business people here demanded some response from the president. We share the same democratic values as the american people and the american culture is dominant over here. There is also a lot of distrust towards China in most brazillian minds and many many people don't like the Idea of a chinese influence over south America due their autocratic regime but I must be honest and say that: this is changing. And I don't see the USA doing anything to prevent that and regain it's position. Even the military - the most pro USA group in our society - are starting to move towards China. Something I never thought possible. Basically the chinese understand that with business the political influence is a natural consequence and America seems to believe it is the other way around.
@@GeraldoluizAprendiz Do you prefer talking to the American military or the Chinese accountant. One blows up your house, the other offers to build you a house.
I really hate to tell you this, but as someone who has worked in the sphere of businesses who receive government contracts I can tell you that this was how they talked about these places for years. People (average ordinary travelers and the like) have always tried to give a more empathetic lens to these countries and communities and were criticised heavily about their position on the perspective of some these 'global or multi national businesses' and their perspective when it came to how they treat the local population and their overall ESG score. It fell on deaf ears. Now more of these populations know the truth. That's their attitude. You're their way to gain a dollar or dime "their lunch money".

I'm a Jamaican who has lived in the US for 24 years, and Cuba is only 90 miles from us. We love Cuba and the Cuban people. America has strangled the Cuban economy for the last 40+ years, and that couldn't break them, and America has sponsored the worst and bloodiest election in Jamaican history, by giving the opposition guns, because the other side were close to Cuba. America has done nothing but brain drain my country, and explore it for cheap labor, now I can proudly say that China has been building much needed infrastructure in our country, and its a good look. America actually took notice as to what has been happening, and wanted to make their presence felt, so they sent an admiral of the navy to deliver their message. Not a diploma, someone from the military. Message received loud and clear, and we are pressing ahead full steam. We may live in your backyard, but the land that we are on is ours.
As a Brazilian, I can say the US has already lost this battle. Latin Americans have always felt undermined and controlled by the American governement, while China has a friendly approach, treating our countries as equals. The question I ask myself is whether the US will accept it peacefully or destabilize our democratically elected governments.

Famous American brands are disappearing from Brazil: Ford left the country after a century of production. Apple registers first loss in sales in Brazil in 2023. And even the traditional North American allies: Toyota (Japan), Volkswagen (Germany), Hyundai (South Korea) are paralyzing production. The consumer electronics market is dominated by China.
As a Latin American, I can say that most of us would choose China over the US out of spite, the US refers to us in a dehumanizing way, for example calling us their backyard, also the US has a bad record with us, many coups, rigged elections and interference.
As a fellow American I understand why you think that way. You're right. I vote and I always vote against politicians that support exploiting the rest of America. South America is America. So is Latin America.

As Argentinian I can say that China presence here is do to the US favouring UK relationships down in the Atlantic. The UK doesn't want investments to come to Argentina so they pressure the US not to invest here in anything. Last time two superpowers began looking at Latin America as a power struggle to gain more support we had a wave of US-supported coups and dictatorships. In Argentina, up to 30.000 people went missing due to the will of keeping other ideology off their "backyard", one of many countries affected by Plan Condor to keep the Soviets out. Over 80.000 people confirmed killed or missing, according to surveys found in Paraguay. Almost two decades of repression and fear in the south cone. It does seems history's destined to repeat.
@@YbisPeck Look, I hope that is the case, but the US is a crazed and brutal culture. I worry that if the US is backed into a corner to give up it's hegemony it will take down a lot of innocent people.
The ColdWar was very unfortunate, and was quite destructive. The U.S.S.R. ( and China, to a lesser extent) did pose a significant threat and required substantial resistance. The U.S.'s predilection for economic warfare - and regime change, and support for dictators - were all questionable tactics, and cast a shadow on U.S. history. I am stunned that US invaded Iraq on false pretenses, and then followed with attacks on Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. While I agree that Ukraine ought not be a Russian vassal, I'm horrified that U.S. policy involved ignoring the Minsk II agreements, and Stoltenberg & Blinken insisting on having Ukraine join NATO. U.S. policy to Russia would be apt if Russia were still Communists intent on destroying us (which is not what is happening).

We have struggled for decades of corruption and fraud in all sectors, and we just recently were able to vote for better party, and the US is trying to undermine that because it's against their interests. That, among many, many other reasons, is why our president is so angry with the US, and so are we.

In countries like Brazil and Argentina, the powerhouses of South America, the hate toward USA is quite deep. Yeah, if US want to beat china, just focus on useful innovation to humanity and peace, and to economy. At least, like trump did focus on economic competition.
It may be difficult to believe, but China's one party state essentially has to *represent all* 100% of Chinese interests (or at least 80-90%) because there is no other party to blame for any mistake. Whereas the U.S's two party state only has *partial representation* by either the Democrats or the Republicans who represent maybe around 51% of American's interests? (P.S Some believe the real figure is actually just 1% of American's interests, if you know what I mean.)
China's one-party governance serves the interests of more than 90% of the Chinese people, but it is not controlled by big financial groups. The US Democratic and Republican parties both serve big financial groups, such as rifle associations, military-industrial enterprises, oil, and financial capitalists.
Not sure how many Americans know who Julius Nyerere was, but I do! Anyway, there is greater separation between the American parties than in his day. Whether that is to the benefit of Americans or the Americas or the world remains to be seen.
I'm Brazilian who loves the USA... but it seems that Americans don't feel the same way about us. we are seen as simple Latinos. The US sees us as competitors and rivals... China sees us as partners and allies. I would prefer a thousand times to have a brotherly relationship with the USA since we are brothers on the American continent but it seems that the USA does not want a Brazil with more than 200 million inhabitants to be a power because they see us as rivals... so we will embrace the opportunity that our Chinese brothers are giving us. china is already our biggest partner and we are going to fight for the fall of the dollar so as not to be hostage to future sanctions coming from the USA since the USA uses its currency as a weapon. Long live Brazil and long live China. as my mom says... we have to care who cares about us. USA doesn't care about its brothers in the southern hemisphere... unfortunately!

Give up on the USA buddy, you're simply not anglo or white enough for them. South Korea got a taste of it, one of US's biggest allies in Asia against China, and they were snubbed from getting nuclear submarine deal, which was signed by Australia, UK and US, called AUKUS. Australia has a small population compared to any other big country, but their ethnicity, entitles them to anything the US deems not suitable for most countries, such as nuclear technology. The problem with America's backyard, is that they look up to America like it's the epitome of civilised society, because of all the Hollywood movies, Hollywood is controlled by AIPAC btw. Wash that American dirt off your eyes, and travel to China, you'll realise how your life has been a big lie all along 😂🤣😅

What the the US failed to mention is that the vast majority of the countries that China does business with approach China to do business with China, not the other way around. They saw the great results China has brought for its business partners and so they want to be a part of it. So all of these "China is seeking to put countries into debt traps and lure countries into its sphere of influence" accusations by the US is simply another lie made up by the anti-China propaganda machine known as the USA! It's getting to the point where the US's entire foreign agenda is to sit back and watch what China is doing and then go in there to try to mess things up for China! The US has no strategy nor any good intention for other countries whatsoever when it comes to its foreign policies. Its entire strategy is to undo whatever China is doing with other countries with whatever force it takes to undo it! It's such a loser's mentality! I want to say the US is the Tonya Harding of international competition, but using Tonya Harding as an analogy for the US's shady ways is an insult to Tonya Harding since Tonya Harding doesn't do 1/1 billionth of the crimes that the US government does on a daily basis!

@@georgekelmeris9804 my point is, it’s so damn obvious the Americans did this systematically for the past 30 years. If you can’t see it, then you are either too ignorant or too stupid.
Imagine calling it "our hemisphere" and referring to Chinas trade deals with the american countries as "eating our lunch". Can you get any more imperialistic? Your hemisphere? I'm pretty sure there's a lot of nations, (at least to the south of you), that would strongly disagree with such a statement. The hemisphere doesn't belong to USA. Also, "eating our lunch" sounds like a freudian slip that is casually admitting that the american continents is nothing more than sustenance for the USA. Absolutely awful lack of respect for other nations. Also, this constant idea of calling latin american and caribbean countries the "backyard" of the US ... It's very patronizing and disrespectful. It's like they are not "real" countries. They don't get to live along the street, so they have to stay in our "backyard". You see the exact same with the smaller pacific countries, like the Solomon Islands. They are not treated as a fellow country but as the "backyard" of Australia. And predictably, the people of that nation are getting pretty tired of being treated like that. Mia Mottley of Barbados was very clear in an interview with BBC how she felt about that characterization; pointing out that they are NEIGHBORS to the USA and should be treated as such. Smaller, yes, but no less a country than anyone else. The main reason USA is losing its grip is because they have zero diplomatic tact and skill. They have a failing economy and less and less to offer. They have a very unsteady foreign policy that changes every 4 or 8 years, often 180 degrees. Something for example Iran has gotten extremely "done" with. Also, when all their "foreign aid" consists of arming rebel groups and building american military bases, while all the actual money never leaves the USA. They end up lining the pockets of Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and the rest of the ghoulish death merchants over there. USA built up all its power abroad through force, or threats of force. The only reason they allied with western Europe after WW2 was to get a strategic beachhead against the Soviets. Not because they ever cared one bit about the well-being of the people in Europe. They've tried the same on all other continents, and for a while it worked. But now, there are other powers that can be much more beneficial do deal with. So why wouldn't they? China only demands that you stay out of their internal affairs, and they'll stay out of yours. With that as a basis they'll trade with you and invest in all kinds of projects. And no, it's not a debt trap. This has been debunked by economic experts over and over, yet keeps repeated in a desperate attempt to smear China. In the end, it's a VERY good deal for countries that have been bullied by USA for decades. It's the same thing in Africa where the nations still carry massive scars from western colonial times. Then in comes China and treats them like fellow nations instead of pawns. No wonder they sign onto BRI. "our hemisphere" ... don't make me vomit. (Edited for a typo that annoyed me, I meant to say all the "actual money" instead of "actualy money") Edit: Thanks for all the likes and positive responses. Glad to see that more people reacted to this blatant show of "american exceptionalism" at its worst.
yes that is right, tiny cuba and other tiny nations in the area are in the AMERICAN backyard and rely on OUR protection and influence to prevent other much more aggressive forces from making them THEIR backyard... at least the USA respects these countries rights to be their own country with their own rules and ways of life.
While North Americans can't decide whether we are their "lunch" or their "backyard" (or both), China keeps coming to us with real proposals. Obviously China has its own interests and a somewhat obscure agenda, but they have invested a lot in our country and, above all, they have treated us with respect.
The Chinese agenda is quite clear. First they make you filthy rich, so you can consume much more products and gain profit through long-term trade. Sometimes they don't even consider how much they can benefit through trade, as long as you keep buying products and the Chinese workers wouldn't lose jobs.
Chile use to have good relionships with the US in the past, but that ended with Nixon's decision to overthrow a democratically elected president and support a dictatorship. Since then i could say, Chilean people do not trust US as a reliable partner. As a latinamerican, the thing that bother us the most is being called the US backyard bc as countrys we are all equal, that's disrespectful.
Nixon didn't overthrow Allende, Pinochet got the nod that the US would continue trade and made the decision based on doctrine that goes back to O'Higgins and Portales. It was NOT an American coup. I share your frustration but get your facts straight. Also, if you think China is better you're nuts. Well, even though I am not a fan of China, it is understandable that the resentments of Latin America, because of the Reagan years, have come back to bite the hand of the US.
as a brazilian i feel that the united states always wanted us to have our development delayed and lagging behind, and it seems that china has seen this and is interested in a more developed brazil. I am very sad to see that the relationship between the United States and Latin America is always so strange and unequal, we were supposed to be brothers.
Well as an European who has always been sceptical about the US "intentions" when trying to save the world for just another time, that scepsis turned into somewhat hate when Ukraine invasion started and i spent quite some time reading into things to gain some knowledge. From what ive read and the conclusions coming from that I dont think your thesis is far from reality. No matter which so called partner/ally of the US we are talking about, if given country crosses US interests, they will feel it one way or the other. Sanctioning companies in economic areas threatening the US economy, setting up regime changes or if thats not enough and the country isnt scary military wise, the US will simply send you back to middle age with its military. China is a great example, as the US simply cant hold them in place, as much as they try. Back in the days they accepted the "One China policy" but as Taiwan has a huge strategic value with its position in front of Chinas main land, they are willing to defend it and permanently annoy China with it. Sanctioning Chinas Chip industry to the point that a company in the Netherlands gets threatened to get sanctioned and the goverment of the netherlands getting involved so that company doesnt provide China the machines they asked for. As far as South America is concerned i guess Venezuela is a very recent example of the US definition of human rights. As long as youre giving us the natural ressources we ask for, you are free to live. But if you dont let Exxon or whichever company take your oil, we will send your people into poverty and the country in pure chaos, by accepting a president who didnt get voted. Actual disgrace to the world that country

As for international relationships, we would definitely love to make friends, if the world is becoming better, our life in China is also becoming better for sure. China’s modern foreign policy is fundamentally different to the US. Western commentators fail to understand China’s seemingly altruistic actions and therefore read into it with suspicion. But China often plays the long game and understands that it’s more beneficial to build up other countries to become economically stable future trading partners. On the other hand western projects in developing countries typically involve one-sided resource extraction and exploitative deals for short or mid term gains. China also has the advantage of being more centralised, if the party feels as though a Chinese corporation is making them look bad o the world stage they have the power to exert control over or punish those corporations, whereas American and European private companies are under no such threat and can behave with impunity

One reason is that the U.S. always thought of Latin America as their private backyard, interfering in the region politics and financing coups. They don't respect Latin America's democracy, they don't respect the self-determination of peoples. And not only in this continent. In south-eastern Asian, middle Asia and Africa, too. Even Europe.
I’m from the USA and being politically informed on an international level since I was a teenager, I have always found the foreign policies toward South and Central America destabilizing, always backing the wrong side of issues, no matter which party holds power. The is mainly true bc corporations have too much influence. This means the US government makes its foreign policy based on the financial interests of those corporations and then back it with its military presence. This has caused regimes like the Christiani government in El Salvador to brutalize its people, while we arm and train their death squads. And that’s only one example with the Reagan administration’s help.

It's strange that the US understand the expression '' sphere of influence '' when they talk about the Americas as theirs but not when it applies to other nations like Russia or China. Not that I agree with that view of the world but if it is their basis for how the international relations should be conducted, they should respect the other sides and get out of those spheres of influence. On that basis, they should at least get out of eastern Europe and out of Asia.
The problem is, the US sees Latin American as its “back-yard”. China may also have its own purposes, but the Chinese see Latin American as trading partners/targets. That’s the difference
中国当然有目的啊,就是赚钱,但前提是拉美国家也要从中获益,如果任何一方没有获益,这都是失败的。Of course, China has its own goals, which is to make money. However, the premise is that Latin American countries should also benefit from it. If either party does not benefit, it would be considered a failure.
As Latino-American I feel absolutely disgusted on how the US government sees our countries, we're nothing but their "backyard", also, the trade relationships between our countries are completely harmfull only for the LATAM countries, the US can't never lose or let a smaller country to win anything. And last but not least, it just only takes to read a few pages of history between their government snd our countries, you'll rapidly find that they hadn't been as friendly as anyone can expect, but yeah, they have shown to the entire world that our people are nothing but criminals, cheap work force or even only poor hungry animals escaping from their corrupt governments to the land of oportuinites, that can be seen in the media that they produce on their streaming plataforms, movies, etc. It is not a coincidence that when somebody says they name of one of our countries You can only think in the imaginary that series or tv shows created about us
Great info Cyrus. I love the Barbados president. She is one of the smartest leader today. Barbados people are so lucky to have her. Very rare to get a smart leader like her in a democratic electoral country. Most “democratic” countries will put the fate of the country on majority voters. US's arrogance in continuing to try to act like the whole western hemisphere is there exclusive diplomatic property (Monroe Doctrine) is deeply frustrating as someone who lives in it. I deeply hope my country (Canada) will eventually join our Latin American friends in diversifying our trade and taking our own interests and growth, rather than our domineering neighbour's, more seriously. If we want to get a UNSC seat and return to a place of global influence/popularity, we need to stop letting ourselves be used as a US mouthpiece. We're so much better than that as a nation, embrace multi-culturilism, and have such potential. One day we'll get a PM who will tap it. Hopefully we'll have a lot of other friends in the western hemisphere, and beyond, to cooperate with when we do! :) 🇨🇦
Monroe Doctrine was meant to curb the presence of European overseas colonial empires. Applying it in the 21st century will require a "weiqi-like" approach on part of the US.
@hananokuni2580 unfortunately they pretty much do still apply it, only now it's not about colonies it's purely about spheres of influence. US views the whole Western Hemisphere, in effect, as it's protectorate and doesn't have any patience for anyone on this half of the planet trying to align with any power in the Eastern hemisphere more than themselves. Hence the really long history of US backed coups and military interventions in Latin America post-WW2. To this day, Cuba is under total embargo despite the UNGA voting overwhelmingly against that behavior from the US, the Americans attempted to install a proxy in Venezuela but botched the coup, there were suspicions the CIA backed the coup in Bolivia a couple years ago which was promptly reversed in the election immediately following, and the US refuses to allow Cuba, Venezuela, or Nicaragua to attend the so-called "summit of the Americas" because they don't have governments the US likes. American media is also already making all kinds of noises about Columbia's newly elected government because they fear it for being too leftists/willing to engage with Venezuela. As a Canadian, we've always kind of been "the exception" in that British influence remained here for quite some time (due solely to the fact the US attempt to dislodge them failed badly) but even here we still feel the effects of US over-reach from time to time. They refuse to ackowledge our sovereignty over our arctic straits (similar situation to their "freedom of navigation" intrusions in the Strait of Taiwan only in this case we control both sides of the strait), they slap ridiculous tariffs on us when we try to refuse to go along with their trade initiatives on the continent, they demand we ban Chinese tech companies like Huawei, they enforce their sanctions on our territory and make us arrest people we have no dispute of our own with, and after all that is done the GOP, at least, still accuses our government of being "tyranical" and bleets on about intervention when we dare to try to stop bands of US-flag waving hooligans receiving millions in funding from US donors as they try to occupy our capital city with the stated aim of ousting our PM and Parliament and eliminating all our public health measures. US is abysmal at keeping their nose out of other people's business, and that goes doubly so for those in the western hemisphere, which they still seem to feel is their "exclusive zone of influence". Differences aside, part of me greatly hopes for Cuba, Venezuela, and the like to find success as nations just to shatter that US perception of hegemonism for the rest of us, as we and all our friends in Latin America have much to offer, and to gain, in stronger relationships with the great powers of the Eastern Hemisphere (from the EU to China and everywhere inbetween).
Canada has lots of blood on their hands. About the million of deaths on Vietnam, Irak, Afganistan... Canada took his part...so Canada has no friends on Latam. And as part of the Commonwealth and a Uk partner, we see you closer to a enemy rather than a ally
Very good and clear explanation of the difference approach from China vs the usa. As an amateur I can see the clumsy approach by the usa. It is just mind boggling a country that big offers so little to countries in Latin America and south east Asia. China on the other hand offers far greater assistance and financial support without meddling in other countries domestic affair or putting military bases on their soil. It is of no surprise that countries in the world outside the west are flocking to follow China.
Thanks Cyrus for trying to bring sanity to US/China relations. I disagree the US is a democracy. Being able to vote for one of a low number of bad candidates, hand picked by large political donors is not in the intention of democracy. We have a one party/two faces system of oligarchs serving the MIC/Wall Street with the people a low priority.
Sadly true for the US. Many influential Americans especially US main stream media are fearful for voting those with more leftist leaning. Essentially the US is a plutocracy and the military industrial complex is one of the major ruling class.

That "No Action, Talk Only" is untrue. NATO just doesn't prefer to get into the action as possible.

That was a good one.👏🏿🤣🤣🤣

China isn't interested in exporting our political system, unlike what the U.S is doing with democracy. @Pain Zer0 like he said, China’s system is indeed successful for China, whether you like it or not is irrelevant.
@Pain Zer0 Tibet was part of China since 800 years ago, back when the Mongols conquered Kingdom of Tibet and Song Dynasty China and incorporated those territories into Yuan Dynasty China. The Manchu conquerors did a similar thing with Tibet centuries later during the Qing Dynasty China. China is currently *at peace and not at war* with any country, since our last major conflict in 1979. Instead of making war, China is building infrastructure like _roads, railways, highways, bridges, tunnels, powerstations, dams, ports, airports,_ etc and investing in developing countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and also African countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Chad, Sudan, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, etc.
Whereas the United States is *warmonger* being involved in Gulf War, Iraq War, Afghan War, Libyan War, Syrian War, Yemen War, etc, even in the 21st century. USA is bombing in those Middle Eastern countries and enacting regime change by cutting off their "heads" (Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, etc) and then installing their own US puppet governments in place. If anything, it sounds like the United States is a threat to global peace and stability.

@@maddog3768 Firstly, those two events occurred at different times and one wasn't the cause of the other. I dont think that will change anything. People call it America simply because it's the name. The same way we call Mexico even though it's technically the United Mexican States. I think the problem is that people fail to see context, which is more of an individual problem. Many people also differentiate the two by calling the continents "the Americas" or "Las Americas".
Its a common understanding that with any population, there are way more stupid people than smart ones. That is why you only see 1 elon musk for example. Elect and regret is the norm for such a flawed system
@Beast Mode Stop your whining
@Beast Mode She’ll be fine now since the world is keeping a close eyes on what the west will do to her. The US has no chance to make a move to carry out a coup there. Everyone and media is watching
Hey i like my democracy. Its exactly because not everyone is Elon Musk that we need to de-centralize power as much as possible. Any single individual and group of people in power must be accountable for their actions.

Canada would never do that, America and canada are the biggest allies in the world.

America is going to regret with what they did to Latin America since Latin America is growing, like Mexico
Lets be clear, latin america is not your backyard. Salute from Brazil.
Thanks Cyrus for trying to bring sanity to US/China relations. I disagree the US is a democracy. Being able to vote for one of a low number of bad candidates, hand picked by large political donors is not in the intention of democracy. Sadly true for the US. Many influential Americans especially US main stream media are fearful for voting those with more leftist leaning. Essentially the US is a plutocracy and the military industrial complex is one of the major ruling class.

Great elaboration about the "No Action" issue. Do you know what my region calls NATO? "No Action, Talk Only". Everyone knows the problem with thinking in terms of "Our", "Our" and "Our". They fail to see that the world does not belong to them.
They should change their alliance into MALT..More Action Less Talk..😅😅😅
That's powerful I might have to use that phrase in an upcoming video
The only thing GI Joe would do is bombing destructions.
That would be the only guaranteed action the orange agent cowboys can only do without second option.
That "No Action, Talk Only" is untrue. NATO just doesn't prefer to get into the action as possible. They'll finance a proxy war, they'll stage a coup or color revolution, they'll provide weapons and ammunitions (to both sides of the conflict if possible), they prefer doing airstrikes by drones or aircraft, maybe send a covert/black ops or two. They don't want to get their hands dirty but they do ACT.
NATO, no one has respect or confidence in NATO, they are the club of the bullies! NATO, no one needs them, Mexico and South America, sure as hell don't need them!

These same Brazilians have accepted the US rhetoric and come to believe that Brazil's problem is China. Maybe you already know that Brazil is about to find another gigantic oil reserve. The current president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, will have serious problems if this new reservation is confirmed, because the pirates (USA and United Kingdom) will do everything to destabilize our Brazil, with the intention of overthrowing President Lula and electing some puppet that sell our oil to foreign companies. Just thinking about that possibility already makes me feel discouraged.
