Only the USA is still in Germany. One reason is that they NEED this Base in Ramstein as staging ground for other operations. There is nothing against haveing a freindly Relationchip with the USA and many buisness is conducted between the 2, but the military should leave. The current Conflict in Ukraine began in 2014 and was initiated by the USA with the aim to use this country as a staging ground to prepare for war with Russia. The aim of the USA is to break up Russia in many smaller States, up to 200, and then take over or at least create influence by giving them aid to develop in exchange for natural resources. It's those natural resources the USA is after. Greed and Arroganz are bad Advisors and in the end the USA will loose their grip on all of Europe.

And the removal of the Soviet nukes from Cuba was also implemented only after the US complied with the condition that the US nukes are removed from Turkey. And this is a very different picture.
Interesting, and I am amazed that I did not know this. Thanks for the summary, which even though easy to confirm as historically correct was not taught correctly in the mainstream media.
@ChristianWagner888 Khruschev didn't care for a celebrity status, he just wanted those nukes removed from Turkey. So he agreed on keeping this part quiet, which is what Kennedy was asking for so the US could save the face.
It's amazing how many people don't know the real story. Telling the "Cuban Crisis" story they don't lie, they just omit crucial part of events that happened before that so called Cuban Crisis. The crisis should be called Turkey crisis, since that's the origin of the whole crisis.
People in the Netherlands want that too. Now we are pouring billions into a useless war. The ordinary people don't want that, we want affordable groceries, housing, health care and a peaceful life not getting sucked in a war by our so called "leaders". Sponsering a war is a crime against humanity. We all know Zelensky never wanted to hold up the Minsk agreement. This war will put Europe down the drain.
Why do these politicians not learn. Vassals like the EU that watch as the US destroys their industries and entire economies at it's behest. Pirate Schultz just nods as Biden confirms the US will blow up the Nordstream pipelines, the driver of German industry. God deliver us from these leaders.
No it's not, Ukraine did recapture a lot of their territory from Russia, so it is not a defeat like Germans or Japan in WW2, Russians have dug in and Ukraine lacks men and weapons to drive them out now so it's more like a peace treaty
@@Frankivchanyn That's not accurate. While Ukraine did recapture Kherson and Kharkiv, Ukraine has been steadily losing territory after Russia's 2022 and 2023 mobilization efforts. The biggest defeats being Bakhmut and Avdiivka .

I know that Americans don't like to be reminded of this, but I will remind you that during the Cuban crisis, Khrushchev demanded that Kennedy remove the American missiles stationed in Turkey as a condition for the withdrawal of Russian missiles from Cuba, and Kennedy agreed. But the Americans are told that Khrushchev was simply afraid of Kennedy))
The existence of the Jupiter missiles was kept classified and not revealed to the American public until decades after the Cuban Missile Crisis had passed. So Krushchev must have stayed quiet because he was afraid of Kennedy, or maybe his silence was another condition of their agreement. In any case, we were taught in school that the Soviets started the Cuban Missile Crisis, but in reality US/NATO was the aggressor the whole time. The fact that our government flat out lied about it makes me distrust anything Washington says about Russia now....

USA found themselves as the only world superpower at the beginning of 1990s. And since then they decided that they can do whatever they want in any corner of the world. Their game, however, was not smart enough, they bit more than they could swallow, more than they needed to swallow, and so it led to avoidable conflicts. And the US government still doesn’t seem to understand that, despite the fact that it actually weakens the position of their country as well.
Ukraine war remains me the Iraq invasion by US under false justification, Russia at least has a point in not wanting the encroachment by NATO (US) on its borders.Few people comment or know about the origin or cause of Russia invasion, which is the continued encirclement of Russia by NATO (US) on ex USSR republics. How people expect for Russia not to defend its border from the continuous encroaching of US? What would US do in a hypothetical situation in which Russia or China start building bases on its borders? Remember the Cuban missile crisis?
Funny how you fail to mention all the countries that Russia has invaded in the last 100 years. It's mind boggling to think that you don't understand why all of Russia's want to join a DEFENSIVE alliance. Russia complains only because they won't have anyone to invade anymore. Too bad for them.
The only reason the Russians in the Soviet Union days allowed the two Germany's to reunify was because of the US promise to not expand NATO beyond Germany. Then the Soviet Union collapsed and NATO (the US) went right ahead and broke the agreement and gobbled up former east European Soviet satellite states. When the Russians asked the Americans why had they broken the agreement back came the lame answer "we made that deal with the Soviet Union not the Russian Federation and as the Soviet Union no longer exists then that deal is now terminated". The idea is to have Ukraine in NATO and it nearly happened once but the Ukrainians democratically elected a pro Russian government. The US was furious and engineered a bloody coup to remove the democratically elected Ukrainian government and installed a puppet regime which was pro US and very much anti Russia. They want to bottled up Russia and try to effect regime change in Russia so a pro US regime governs from the Kremlin. Even after the fall of the Soviet Union the new Russian federation asked to be admitted into NATO and the US flatly refused to allow it because the US military industrial complex needs a country to hate big time and that country is Russia. Note that when the US invades a country it's never a country with nuclear weapons for the last thing the US military and government want is for the realities of war to be brought home to the US people with conventional or nuclear missile strikes inside the US. We all saw how the biggest terrorist nation went berserk after 9/11.

I think Zelensky was using the West to make sure he keeps the same borders regardless of what Russian villagers living there want, and had a hungry eye on Crimea too.
The strategy of driving the Russians into war with Ukraine was initially very successful. In the long term, however, the Americans will pay dearly because the subsequent sanctions against Russia (freezing of bank balances, trade restrictions, etc.) have made the rest of the world realize that they have to move away from the dollar.
I think they realize better than anybody else that dollar is dying and will soon die completely. Maybe Trump doesn't know that yet, but they let him know as soon as he becomes a president. To be honest I think they want to speed up the process. Excellent presentation. You nailed it. I would only add that Russia will NEVER give up Crimea. It is their only warm water port and home to the fleet. They fought over it in 1854. And this current aggression by the West and NATO has greatly accellerated BRICs development. Russia and China are winning the larger economic war. They have captured the global south and fractured the West. Many of the West’s allies, like Norway and Spain, are switching sides.
Crimea is Russian since the second half of the 18th century and has a predominantly Russian population (90%?). It was administratively placed under the jurisdiction of Ukraine, which was an internal Soviet Union act without any legal international significance.
I wonder if anyone has bothered to ask the Crimean people if they would prefer to live under Ukrainian jurisdiction again? Oops! Sorry I forgot. They had a referendum in 2014 and 98.8 percent of crimeans voted to become part of the russian federation.

There are ~50 nuclear warheads owned by the US still stationed in Turkey. However, there are talks about withdrawing those bombs from Turkey. Not because out of honoring the deal with Russia, but not trusting Erdogan from confiscating those bombs for Turkey's interests
I would argue the US supporting the formation of Israel is the US's greatest mistake, considering after world war 2 the middle east as a whole viewed the US favorably, but that changed due to this decision, and the decision itself was only to gain Jewish voter support in the election(at the time) and for a petty fear that the soviets might recognize Israel first. One decision in 1949 led to endless wars.

Putin stated his conditions for even starting negotiations on the basis of Istanbul quite clearly. 1. Full Ukrainian withdrawal from the regions that are included in Russian constitution; 2. Recognition and acceptance from Ukraine that these regions are Russian; 3. Acceptance of Ukraine's neutral status. Istanbul also included restrictions on Ukrainian army armaments and number of personal. Russians categorically rejected any freeze of the conflict Korea-style. These conditions can get only tougher by the time. Even Trump wouldn't be able to accept these conditions explicitly without a coup attempt against him, but he could do it implicitly by cutting Ukraine's sustenance.
During the Istanbul talk, Putin even withdrew Russian forces from Kiev as a *gesture of goodwill* in order to create favorable conditions for talks. Eventually though, the peace negotiations were torpedoed by Boris Johnson.
@@Shenzhou.thank you for being a breath of fresh air in this political climate filled with delusions. Many people deny the fact that Zelensky was very close to an agreement on the Istanbul deal right up until Boris Johnson (a representative of the collective west) convinced Zelensky that with their support Russia could be defeated on the battlefield. That was the turning point.
This is simply a tactical move. The only thing Zelensky wants to achieve with a ceasefire is to slown down the Russian advance along the frontline and to have time to mobilize and rearm as the AFU is already on the brink of total collapse and defeat due to the heavy losses inflicted by Russia.
Not yet. He needs to research the origins of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. You see, it all began in 1989...when a brilliant young KGB agent, Vladimir Putin, then stationed in East Germany, engineered a plan to demilitarize an East German washing machine that his landlady, Angela, had kept in storage. From that moment, young Vladimir realized that Germans would do nothing to prevent his invasion of Ukraine in 2014.
In 2008, Russia intervened in Georgia to protect the Russian minority then being bombed by its government, as confirmed by the Swiss ambassador, Heidi Tagliavini, who was responsible for investigating this event. In 2014, many voices were raised in Russia to demand intervention when the new regime in Kiev had engaged its army against the civilian population of the five autonomist oblasts (Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Lugansk and Donetsk) and applied a fierce repression. In 2022, it could be expected that the population of Russia would not understand the government’s inaction, after no efforts were made from the Ukrainian and Western sides to enforce the Minsk Agreements.

The existence of the Jupiter missiles was kept classified and not revealed to the American public until decades after the Cuban Missile Crisis had passed.
Yup USA wouldn’t have it in 1977 Cuba
Well said 💯
It does not matter if few Westerners comment, only that the majority of Russians do.
US is a double standard nation.

Russia should not have started the WAR. We all remember three years ago how the Russian dictator promised not to invade Ukraine. Never trust Russia.

Cyrus, you have done a great job in researching the origin of the Ukraine War. 👍
If people had been listening over the years they wouldn't need someone to educate them.

I agree, it was handled poorly but the truth is, don't just look at what the major powers want, look at what the people actually want. Especially Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
... followed by Finland and Sweden.
Украина для РФ не равна Прибалтике, Польше и средней Азии, это экзистенциальный вопрос, Украина - прямой путь на Москву, прямой и очень короткий. Так же её территори легко ассимилировать, там проживает большое количество русских людей.
This is amazing work Cyrus! You're sharing so much truth that US corporate media doesn't tell us. You are a national treasure and a global treasure. ❤🌎
Well put together and in single shots, putting together a clear and efficient story of what's happening very well presented ❤
The only thing that the US neocon policymakers regret about Ukraine is that their nefarious efforts are failing spectacularly, not that they undertook this foolish scheme in the first place.
Russia will not agree to a cease-fire unless Ukraine formally agrees to transfer sovereignty of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Crimea. Because of this, the war continue indefinitely.
Odessa and Kharkov also matter since these cities always were more Russian than Ukraine. And Ukrainian government banned the Russian language at schools and universities which violates these people's rights.
@@Tito_michidoesn’t matter if they are more this or more that, they are legally under Ukraine. Not Ukraines fault that they don’t want there territories taken like Crimea.
The Kursk region belongs to Ukraine.
The remaining forces of the Koursk operation have been trapped by the russians in the north, they have one road left that is not sure so they either surrender, try to escape and die, or just sit there until they have no ammo and food left and get stormed. Seem like it's the end on every fronts and this was pretty predictable.
Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and other minor wars in Central America and South America were mistakes. But Ukraine was a miscalculation of a lifetime. European economy will take many years to recover from it. It's even worse now that Africa is slowly but surely moving eastwards.
Excellent presentation as usual. Thank you, Cyrus.
You're an amazing communicator; thank you for your invaluable work; may many more people vie for peace. Greetings from Mexico!
Thanks for putting this all together. Better than reading CNN and trying to figure out what is really going on over there.
My pleasure!
Now that Russia is learning from Nato to bring in foreign troops Ukraine has a lot to worry about.
they did it before scamming nepal people into war, already captured by ukrianians
@@grixiscontrol "scamming nepal people into war"... the ukranians, poles, georgians, whole fucking NATO and even american mercs were scammed into war by american goverment
You can see how insanely arrogant and condescending West was to Russia calling them "Gas station masqueraded as a country". Russia is a commodity and resources superpower with one of the strongest arms, agriculture, and energy industry in the world, along with very rich history and culture, and list of technological achievements. And the irony is: They have far lower opinions of Ukraine.
At every turn the West underestimates them, and they NEVER learn.
It was and is quite true. Deal with it. With all supposed advantages you mention, it has GDP and technology worse than South Korea xD Well led Russia would be able to BUY itself Ukraine. How many Russian products you can buy?
US is after the reasources of Russia they are greedy😂
We need to remember how the US felt after the USSR was yet again Forced to put their weapons in Cuba after the failed Bay of Pigs Coup Attempt.
So imagine how Russia is feeling with US Weapons aimed at Russia from Poland and Romania, and want to come even closer via Ukraine.
Zelensky needs to move to USA now. His job is done.
You need to be in prison forever because of his arrogant how many lives have been lost
Zalansky. Has to Mouve. Not USA. Has to go to helle.
First he needs to be judged by Russians then send whats left of him to US.
We got plenty of comedians....we don't need more
He needs to be arrested along with UK germany n USA politicians
Cyrus, you hit it out of the park with this one. REQUIRED viewing for anyone who wants to know how we got here.
Where had the Cyrus who condemned Russia for the invasion of Ukraine gone?
The people of the Us need to make its rulers know that ir is time for the gov to SRVE THE PEOPLE, not the people serve our rulers and their masters.
It's important to keep adding voices of reason so the truth is out there and the lies are exposed . Thanks for doing just that
A win for Humanity not only Russia against Transhumanism agenda.. 👿
🙏❤️
Excellent summary. Cyrus is super well spoken.
Zelensky is working for USA and not for Ukraine and now Zelensky is begging around the world for the weapons. Zelensky hand over the agriculture land for western countries for weapon test.
TRUTH!
I knew he was dodgy right from the start...despicable stooge!
Who voted for this comedisn as president my God
Russia should not have started the WAR. We all remember three years ago how the Russian dictator promised not to invade Ukraine. Never trust Russia.
Viktor Orban gets the highest respect 👍
He who won't listen have to suffer the consequences.
9:37 It is just one year ago I learned that it was not the Soviet Union that started the Cuban Missile Crisis.
This confrontation was between the governments of the United States and the Soviet Union, when American deployments of nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey were matched by Soviet deployments of nuclear missiles in Cuba.
Where have you been all of your life to only just learn this now????? USA perhaps????
@@Merdacity Norway. This is totally unknown among people in Scandinavia. The same goes for Jupiter Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles.
@@griegs2001Hard to believe but the US/UK disinformation systems are powerful
@@MerdacityTrust me, they truly are. I also only learnt about it recently.
It takes big waves to rock the boat.
S Korea and The Philippines host multiple US bases. No US base will be tolerated in Ukraine. Russia would provide for Ukraine's security.
Not really. Russia is not welcome in Ukraine.
