Really like your videos. I' m not the best enh shaman myself, but I' ve got some experience with it, since it is my main. I've been watching since previous series with Affi lock and since this is a character, that I could maybe offer some usefull advice, I've finally mustered some courage to point out some things, hope they will help somehow.
1. Use you empowered Frost Shock more. In both this and last video I' ve seen you spent full maelstorm before using the empowered Frost Shock. It is a suprising amount of aoe damage. Also do not fret aoe damage too much. Enh is a funnel class, so when there are dangerous enemines (like for example the dragonflies in first pull of Algethar) just focus them and do not stress too much about spreading Lashing Flames.
2. Be the run carry in other ways than just damage. Enh is not the best from the damage stand point but it is one of the best Swiss army knife type of characters out there. This is a hard one, since you are still learning (although you are doing great), but do not always stay with the basic m+ dungeon talent build. Try experimenting, try moving points around, and if you have a group of pumpers focus more on tactical side of m+ - stops, cc and preparation. In this episode you complained about lack of cc a few times, yet I do not think I have seen you using Lightning Storm. It is just a knockup, but a knockup is sometimes enough to save a pull. Same thing with Tremor Totem. No matter how many melee we have, how many silences we could pull off I always take this talent "in case of emergency" for Brackenhide. I may never use it, but once in some time there is this moment, when having it and pressing it in right moment saves the pull. Another thing would be to use your Ancestral Guidance more aggressively. If you see a big pull and you see people's hp bars going down do not be afraid/ greedy not to push it. Healers will never thank you, the group will probably never notice, but it might just allow healer to catch up. Also you might consider changing from Stoneskin Totem to maybe something more passive or pseudo-passive like for example Elemental Orbit. Casting Earth Shield while walking from pack to pack or before the boss might just give you a bit more in terms of survivability, rather than the totem, that is easily forgettable to put down. If you want you could even put it on somebody else, like the tank or healer.
3. Earth elemental will not save you from bosses. It is still a 15% hp boost, and using it in the situation like in this video is right, just do not put too much trust into it. On the other hand it is incredible for example for Algethar first boss. It will taunt some of the small adds giving your tank more breathing room while not messing with the boss aggro.
The visual/sound design for enhancement shaman is so well done, but man the button bloat and rotation always keeps me away
Best part about that paladin? Dude is 2700 IO on his main. Never gotten title or cutting edge, and talks xD
Really? Lol. I never bothered looking tbh. I was doing 26's last season and finished just under 3.3k, but no one in these dungeons will see that and assume I know nothing. I like it this way :)
Im currently top 100 enh shaman in the world in m+ and raid. I have some tips for your rotation that ive noticed.
1. Almost always spend frost shock with hailstorm stacks before spending any more maelstrom, even if that means overcapping a bit.
2. Use Pwave and Wolves ALWAYS on cd, just throw them out there once they are up. There is some more min maxing that you can do with timings, but its not as important, as just getting them on cd.
3. During Hot hands proc, always use your 2nd gcd on lava lash for optimal dps, especially in ST. Its the highest dps.
4. On bigger pulls, dont focus on doing AOE damage, enh excels at funnel damage, so ignore lashing flames and funnel the highest hp enemy with elemental blast. Especially in bolstering week.
5. Ancestral guidance is an insanely strong healing ability that can make life a lot easier for your heal, use it on high damage situations.
6. Ghost wolve increases your defensive by stacking up over time. If you fear you arent going to survive something, but have no def cd. Chill in ghost wolf for a few seconds.
7. Sundering is a talent we do not play currently, recheck your talent builds. We have a knockup and a stun totem, thats enough.
8. You can cleanse the afflicted with your curse dispell if you have taken the right talents.
9. Try to sync up your 2 EB during wolve uptime for maximum dps.
There is so many more tips I could give you, but the list would get too long. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm super determined to get better with this spec, more than most I've played in a long time. When this challenge is over I will be able to play it more than 1-2 days per week and hopefully the muscle memory kicks in.

honestly brackenhide is one of the main reasons I went dwarf, so many nasty debuffs
the Decay in Brackenhide is a real nuisance, that's for sure.
The tank was just saying that he (apparently) timed a +27 back in season 3 and that he knows better than all of you, which is why he was telling you what to do/not to do *eye roll*
Last season was kinda incredibly easy too tank though...
ragestorm is a non issue ability, it's just stationary aoe if the tank doesn't move, you can outrange it anyway, and it makes it easier on the tank since the mob doesn't attack during it
In most cases sure, but if you can have someone in the group that can deal with it, why not? It means I have more space when in tight areas, as the other mobs fixate on you.

Atuning OCE to mastery is good, you should look to be around 85% mastery. However you should always sim your items for best dps.

I mean it's alright if you push your own key but I think a pug's 10 is the wrong place to get your rotation in order... But I guess their fault if they invite you.
Havoc is my favorite class but man is playing ranged so much better in m+

trash between first and second boss in Brackenhide is not that hard to heal, issue in most pugs is the dps dont switch to the Rotsinger totem or whatever that mob is called, you can see him cast it. If that totem gets its cast off on higher keys its a nightmare to heal the disease it puts groupwide
bloodmallet is good for finding out what OCE you want
Currently playing survival hunter and am not too far behind your score. It is a pain getting to Hero especially as a meh spec

Replace your damage done overall with a healing meter, it's much more interesting
This is a DPS challenge, healing is irrelevant.
Have 3 I always have current damage and healing then an overall damage do it silly dilly!!
@@turmoiill I have 3...current damage, overall damage and the third one gets changed depending on the dungeon/affixes/situation. This could be dispels, interrupts, cc etc

Brackenhide is a dungeon to do in tyrannical only. Trash does so much damage and Boses so little. Did +10 tyrannical brh at ilvl 490 healing it with no issue first week but could not do one in fortified with ilvl 525 now
Lol. Bracken is a free key every week until you get to like 17+ of it. Thats when you can really fail one. When you do your Fort Brackens, do you have a disease dispell in there? And are they using it on CD? If not, then theyre trolling. Also people not using defensives are also trolling.
@@IanStrain23328 the amount of time in mid keys that people do not dispel disease I had a +10 key with resto shaman ( no disease dispel) invited 2 retro and asked them to help me with dispel, end of dungeon 0 dispells
@@yosefbensadon4933 Than either invite a healer that has a Disease dispell, or invite DPS that have a disease dispell. Theres thousands of Shadow Priests out there right now, they can dispell disease, same with Rets.
