actually insane that people will willingly throw an easily timeable key over an accidental pull (not to mention trying to assassinate a player mid-run over it)
@@makovecek00 Yeah, they knew who did what and just tried blaming me, I was the easy target. I feel bad for the Evoker, they stayed completely quiet during most of the key and only spoke to ask the Tank to finish the dungeon.
@@Dillisan Had some sad c*nts while tanking keys. I usually warn only once when people "who know so much better" start pulling into my pulls. If they do it a second time i just stop moving. And whisper them hearts ans kisses when they try to abuse me. Sends most over the edge to "report" level insults :D
@@Dillisanidk I’ve never understood the hate thankfully I don’t see it much. But honestly drag someone through the mud isn’t helpful makes me try less. Being positive and trying to help the dude out is always better for all partys You are also a better man than me cause I would have made the priest cry with shit I would have said. It’s very easy to piss people off.
a little bit late to the party but if any of you experience any sussy grips, misdirects, rescues (which can happen accidently of course) in your pug keys you can pop a Neural Silencer/Magical Intrusion Dampener and be protected from this shenanigans, just carry a few of them in your bags for an emergency like that :)
I think you are an inspiration to many of us who play and have disabilities (I have dyslexia and ADD myself) and your videos are always interesting and fun to watch!
Amazing video as per usual. I'm sorry you had to go through something like that.. This is a perfect showcase of what the better part of the "higher score / Mythic raid progress" community is like sadly. It is rare nowadays to find someone who is at the top of the game as well as a functioning human adult that is capable of empathy, that simply cares about the fact that there is another human being on the other end of that character with real feelings. I've been a CE raider pretty much since Mythic raiding came out and I've definitely seen my fair share of this kind of behaviour, sometimes, sadly, done by my own guildmates. I never understood it and I still don't.. Almost 1 year ago, I found your content on RUclips, the DK series, started watching, then caught you on Twitch one day and then joined one of the nicest, kindest communities I've been part of in WoW - made a bunch of new friends and had the most fun I've had in WoW since.. Legion probably. Your content and your community has made me realise that having fun and just.. being a nice person.. is what needs to be an integral part of gaming. This was something that I completely lost track of over the past few years and I'm so happy to have found you guys. Keep up the great work! I very much look forward to future content and raiding with you in The War Within!
I know the shadowpriests main, his main is called bazzamage (already played with him on my own… was also in Voice with him… he is one of the most toxic and disgusting player i ever met
That doesn't surprise me at all. You're not the only person to say this sadly, others have also met both in dungeons and had a similar experience. Thanks for letting us know!
:D you know what is funny i met a lot of HIgh end player with high IO and arena ratings and all that never ever i experienced toxicity from them those peopel were nice and always had some cool things to teach me :D This person is wishing to be like them and he can't be so he is toxic
@@lukeluckynblue1873 the m+ toxic community aren't the actual high end players, it's the 2K6 to 3K io player in the late season, they are good at the game but not good enough, so they blame everyone else but themselves, which leads to insane toxicity
This is what i hate so much. People pulling yet blaming someone else. And then trolling you for the rest of the run. People like that are only toxic ingame. In real life they are the quiet guys who can't even speak up for themselfes
Even so, it was only once, I used to push very high keys, and even that used to happen, and just once there's no need to worry, and even more so with such a low key. people just want reasons to take out their frustration on someone else
Watching the buttons pressed alongside procs you get, when you get hot hands or w/e it's called during boss fights, the one that buffs Lava Lash, you 100% spam lava lash when in melee range until the buff falls off otherwise it can be a significant dps loss. For AoE I would recommend flame shock, lava lash to spread flame shock, prim wave on a target without flame shock and press lightning bolt as opener. Noticed you opened with prim wave on the first pack in Brackenhide Hollow. Follow up with crash lightning after lightning bolt to hit more, then spam lava lash if you have the proc. Best of luck with your score! Was Enh season 1 through 3 and really had fun with it. Swapped to resto shaman full time for S4 and loving it!
Pugging has been REALLY bad recently. I don't know that I have seen THAT specific type of toxicity, but its not uncommon sadly. Do you have the raw footage from that run? I review low keys with funny or unique stuff occurring, would love to have a look at the full run unedited!
My theory is people (not all) who played for fun have left dragonflight because Season 4 doesn't appeal to them. This leaves a higher concentration of people playing the game for other reasons, with some people playing it because they've played for so long they don't know what else to do. They are not enjoying the game, and when they group up, they bring that bad energy, intentional or not, which ends up creating bad group environment.
Had a fun key today too. +10 Ruby, first pull(fortified) our 3k mage (that didnt even use lust cause hes that good) raged and left the key after one incorp went through...guess who didnt use sheep either. Still yet to figure out if his ego is just that big, or if hes just a miserable gamer in general. Allways important to stay positive and only look at your own mistakes to improve. Good video big boy!
I have quit WoW during the beginning of BFA and never touched or watched the game since and for some reason I got recommended your affliction series in the middle of season 3 in DF and thought it would be a great idea to start a completely new class and do the same even though my record up to date was around KSM. Plus when I saw that the dungeons from older expansions are now included in M+ I was instantly sold 😄 Now I'm in the top 250 arcane mages in the world having more fun than ever in this game and it's all thanks to Shinoda...I will never stop watching this series
Your journey to KSH series have become one of my favourite things to watch, I always look forward to watching your videos! So thanks Dilly :) hope there will always be more coming.
I appreciate your transparency about mental health and ADHD. I, too, struggle with those. It helps people not feel alone when we talk about it. Appreciate you
Dilly, you handled them like a boss, they deserve nothing but bad keys, and hopefully get what they deserve, you on the other hand, are doing something that you love to do and enjoy doing, and tbf your doing absolutely fine on the Enh shammy, just do what I do and pretend your a big gamer and everything else will follow, you are a massive baller!
3k Ele shaman brother here. I just want to throw out a suggestion for Heliki. I used to be against the idea of a rotation addon, but when my guild wanted me to swap to enhance for the last couple bosses of mythic prog I had to learn the spec fast. Hekili helped me understand the spec better and had me blasting in keys in no time. Then you can turn it off once you've identified your problem
I appreciate you being transparent about your mental health, almost everything you said resonates with me; Inability to focus at times: Check. Hyper focusing at other times: Check. Anxiety: Yep. Lack of sleep: Oh yeah. I've been working with a psychiatrist lately who is actually suspecting bipolar, with ADD/ADHD being symptoms rather than the diagnosis. Bipolar would make sense, with super high highs and feelings of total invincibility, and then super low lows where I can't give a single significant portion of Vulpera posterior about anything, and I know it runs in my family. Still a work in progress, I just know I'll feel a whole lot better about life in general when I can actually put a name to what's going on in my brain. Other than that, I do appreciate watching these keystone journey videos as well. About mid season 3 I decided to tackle M+ on my druid and, for the most part, I really enjoyed it. Same with Season 4 on my Evoker, but man, at around +6 the vibes in a lot of those keys take a real turn. I hit KSM last night and I think that'll do it for me for now and I'll focus on some other things, unless I can find a good regular group that I can trust. I do enjoy the M+ gameplay, but I believe I've had my fill of the pug scene.
My problem is a bit different but disability is a very hard thing to deal with and so many people do not understand it. I have Fibromyalgia and MS. There are physical, mental, and emotional issues with this. Pain levels on a 8 on a 1-10 where 10 is the worst pain ever is a daily thing for me. I'm on several pain meds to pull it to a 5. The pain level untreated is changing the way my brain works, struggling to handle the pain while I'm playing. On the meds, I can think and not hurt as much, but the meds make me slow. It's hard to play with others because of the same issues you dealt with, I'm not fast enough, not able to keep up, spend a lot of time holding down the floor so the others won't have to deal with it being aggroed in the fight. I may come hang out on the channel, that would be great. Thanks !
This dudes from your BH where in my key like a Week or something ago, they flamed the entire time, didnt played ine mechanic and just died everytime. After the key we traded them and said we wanna have gold for the boosting we did. So dw, this guys just dumb. And said for ur 'sickness', dw man, you are awesome. I dont care how much you fail or die or something. Im become a big fan of yours and still trying to snipe you in your shaman. Big love and and never change your attitude. ❤
This might not sound great, but I'm really glad to see you struggle with a spec - sometimes I pick one up and realise that no matter how much I learn, it just does not vibe with me and I can't make it work, and it's really nice to see I'm not alone in that (I'm still rooting for you to improve and master it though! Good luck!)
As someone with Asperger's, adhd, social acceptance, and rejection sensitivity as well.... I truly understand were you're coming from!! keep up the vids! I really enjoy them. I've had people blaming other people for pulling, but never someone actively trying to kill them through the hole key..... thats a new level toxicity I've never seen before.... that was just straight up bullying for zero reason..
Over the last 6 years or so I’ve ranged in IO from being top 25 global (for all dps) to just tanking my weekly max and that’s it. I have found far more toxicity in the 2k-3k range than anywhere else. At 3500+ it’s especially nontoxic since anyone who’s toxic just doesn’t get invited and the number of potential group members is significantly smaller. This is a terrible key, and the healer is being needlessly rude. He’s also objectively unskilled as a player. The tank is even worse; those combo pulls are inefficient. If you’re going to pull into a boss you need to go bigger to make it worthwhile, and you should overlap with lust on treemouth. I could go on. Point is, players who think they are skilled but aren’t getting anywhere close to the Hero title are the most toxic. Oh sure, 3759 io guy might trash talk a bit, but it will be direct criticism and abbreviated. Speaking from experience if a player is so bad they are aggravating me I will usually just tell them to do, or not do something so they will be less aggravating. I have no interest in mocking them, I just want to finish the key and move on to the next. You can 4-man any key at a 10 or under if the tank and healer are decent. Bricking a key is just wasteful.
@@Narium413 the priest is trash and the title is nothing special, and to be very honest, yes, the majority of the playerbase in this game is... not really good.. I learned that over the past years when I was pushing above even pretty decent ratings
The most toxic thing ive dealt with is the discrimination against warriors. The amount of time ive spent getting declined to 7-10 keys that ive already completed at 14-16
You inspired me to start recording my runs :D Casue i want to see how many people will try to sabotage my gameplay cause if you are in the action you can't see taht much so i can analyze afterwards if it was me or actually someone tried to stoped me from playing
I don't think I have ADHD but I'm also scared of social acceptance and letting people down.. whenever I make a small mistake I apologize a thousand times even if people didn't even notice. I am really sorry to see what happened to you. The other week I was doing some lower keys, and in a +4 the tank who's key it was all 3 DPS started bullying him because he was a bit inexperienced and pulled little and DPS took aggro sometimes.. and they were very very abusive .. he never said a word.. I hope he didn't understand them because they were simply awful. I asked them to stop and then ofcourse faced the same problem as you threatening to leave the key which wasn't mine. One of them did leave before the last boss but we still timed it.. just crazy how awful some human beings can be just because they can hide behind an avatar.
I see how you feel. Myself, I am considering the social interactions as an extra layer of challenge of the raids/dungeons. And I mean that in a positive way. Dealing with toxicism/ bad manners and learning to overcome these social challenges is something that is skilling you up as a player and as a human.
Got 3/4 of the way through this video before I realized that you're the shaman from the OneAzerothTV "Most Toxic M+ Players" video. Good stuff -- rock on.
I'm glad you posted this because it came at the perfect time. My brother loves mythic + and has reached over 2k and is always talking about how fun it is, I've always played PVP and not took an interest to pve till now, I had been playing remix getting an army of alts for TWW but got burnt out so I went on retail and just made groups of mythic 0 as I've had no experience (I did them a few times on heroic) before hand. My first mythic dung and everything went okay until 20% in a DPS starts quoting my dps (purposely exaggerating the amount I was doing) to which I was quite confused so when I asked what the issue was he started making rude comments rather than just making his point. In the end I kicked him as I cba with it ruining my experience to which the whole group then left but not before the tank giving me abuse. I was quite confused as I was in season 3 PVP gear so not ideal atall but wanted to catch up on gear quick which I have now done as this happened 2 days ago. I felt stressed and paranoid about my dps since then and have tried harder and harder to multitask as I was focusing on interupts and mechanics not just my damage. I really didn't expect pve to be this toxic so I was shocked as PVP is usually really bad which is why I quit in season 3. I told my brother as it did put me off playing entirely but he just made it clear that it's luck of the draw and you get people like that I just wish I wouldn't let it get to me as much as i do so you're not alone bro. Appreciate the video.
I am happy you showesd what happened. Im anxious to return to M+ due to these situations. I joined your discord and hopefully get on cracking soon with M+. Thank you
I think you are doing great. I just wish people would recognize in WoW that no-one is born amazing at playing a specific class or whatever. We all have to learn.
Right but this guy has been showing himself doing zdps for months and has made no apparent effort to improve. It's not fair to the rest of the group to expect a carry.
I apologize if someone said this already, but go get some Neural Silencers, I keep them on me for situations like this too. They'll prevent you from being gripped, doesn't solve all the issues but it helps.
I'm kinda confused cause I see the things you mentioned about adhd as normal things that everyone experiences, but maybe I'm clueless or have undiagnosed adhd.
You are correct, these are things, many people deal with, but when it comes to ADHD, these things become a lot worse. You physically can not concentrate no matter how hard you are trying, your emotions are dialed up much higher than a neurotypical - the list goes on. I had the same revelations when watching a RUclipsr talk about their diagnosis for inattentive ADHD, it sounded just like me (but psh, I'm "normal"), I was STUCK in life, could not move forward. That's when I deep dove into research and found I do indeed have ADHD! xD I do suggest doing a bit of research on it, especially if you're interested, I've found few people know about the types of ADHD - Hyperactive, Inattentive and combined. Learning about the inattentive type was my gateway into finally understanding myself and living.
dps is the only thing thing they care about, typically overall dps, while its often the least impotant part since "blasting" is everything ppl focus on, yes if you play as non meta dps the snipefest can be really awful, even if you are actually competent at your spec + do utility, save your bigest cds on hardest pulls etc. global ignore list addon is a nice thing to have, over 400 names by now and its supposed to be infinite, ppl are ignored on all your alts too. just a tiny request if the author of the addon ever sees it, please add an option to disable the auto message that gets sent to them that you have ignored them if they try to continue to flame you in whisper after its done. i dont want ANY interaction at all after they are ignored even if they cant whisper more. i couldnt find the option at least. but yea a fellow sentient being player here, big respect to you :)
There is a handy little item you can keep in your bags if things like this is to happened ever again, get a few "Magical Intrusion Dampener" and some things can not be used on you ( such as leap of faith, misdirection and tricks of the trade )
Ive got ADHD and Autism too! Sometimes when theres much going on i somehow start to get black-outs which causes me to get overstimulated which results in me completly forgetting what i have to do. Some good examples are during mythic Zskarn or Fyrakk. Im a Tank so one of my Tasks are moving the Boss. If im not yet 100% confident it can happen that i completly forget to where ive to move the Boss. Or our Raidlead explains something, i listen but a Minute later ive already forgotten what he said. Or sometimes ive got auto-mode on, were at a mythic Boss but i play by the Heroic Rules(ex, Gnarlroot. 10 instead of 5 Stacks. Or Council of Dreams, taunting after each Stacks instead of after each Boss special). Its not like i cant do it, something can work 9 out of 10 times but that one time i completly fuck up. Or those random black-outs. My ADHD Brain cant focus or my Autism led me getting overstimulated which causes me to be unable to focus on more then one thing(which is usually my Health because im a Tank). Its as if theres so much going on that my Brain doesnt know how to filer everything out in order on how important it is(typical adhd and autism thing). Sometimes ive to remind me to not play on auto-mode. Maybe i need to Set-up more audio clues for incoming Mechanics. And change that damn dbm taunt function. Oh yeah, definetly! You expect how something will work like how the Tank will pull in Neltharus, what can cause danger etc but if something unexpenctedly happened you suddently dont know what to do and you just start pressing random Keys which led your Rotation getting fucked-up 😂
That BH key... Jeez. I've had some toxic griefers but that takes the cake... And the cherry on top. Hope they step on a Lego tonight. Twice ;) Thanks for sharing.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia are forms of neurodivergence - there are others too. Being neurodivergent will often amount to a disability under the Equality Act 2010, even if the person does not consider themselves to be disabled.
I cant believe people aren't talking about the group in the BH enough. The whole time my mouth was wide open, it's so wrong for them to do that to you but I'm so glad you schooled them on dodging their evil play. I play a VDH (have done before meta btw :P) and will be happy to play with you. I used to main shaman when I first started and was GOD AWFUL switching to VDH actually made me good at the game (Yoseizura-Dragonblight)
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I've also seen very toxic groups, although not this bad. Just people who capslock complain the whole key. Either way, it leaves a sour taste
when cross realm trading and cross faction trading were added into the game (inside instance for cross faction) people did this A LOT. dungeon going smoothly, big blasters, none really speaks and then at last boss tank and his dps friend leaves the party and says to trade gold to tank if they wanna finish the key or they wont join back to party keeping the group hostage. this was super nasty and toxic af -.-
I’ve barely started to do Mythics as a prot war this past month or so - I stick to super low keys where people seem grateful to even be part of a group .
My partner and I both have physical disabilities as well as being neurodivergent, and we have seriously had people turn around and tell us that if we have disabilities that effect our ability to play to a perfect standard then we have no right to play at all because other people shouldn't have to deal with us. Now it's not like we are asking people to carry us through content while we actively mess up everything for them, we just struggle a little with a few specific things. Very occasionally we may screw something up majorly or be completely unable to do one isolated task, but mostly we play probably as well as the average casual player, we will just never be capable of elite level performance no matter how hard we try or how much time we put in, and for some reason that makes some people really angry. We generally don't tend to try to push content high enough that the odd mistake should be the end of the world or where our mistakes are likely to be any worse than some other people doing that kind of content so being told that someone literally thought we had no right to play the game at all due to being disabled was a shock that neither of our confidence has really recovered from since to be honest
As someone always beeing around 2.6k rating and starting late this season: the amount of keys where high rated guys do their thing completely ignoring the capability of the group or individuals is very high. may be just a personal thing but it happesn often. Not to this level but jea...
it is pretty crazy that this is actually a thing im pugging for over 7 years now and litterly pumped over 400+ keys each season and had not a single interaction like that. i only heared it but im rly happy i had so much luck not encountering these kind of players over the years. Sry so see that hope you still have fun
Hope you reported that priest and I seriously hope someone from blizzard support is able to check the logs or maybe see this video and ban them >:( I stopped doing mythic keys because of people like that and also people demanding I already learnt the mechanics the 3rd day of mythics+ (the key was mine also) these kind of people make the game extremelly unfun for everyone else.
I have ADHD too, idk if you're medicated or have tried it but I was diagnosed a couple of years ago at 28 and started meds this year at 30 after waiting for ages for titration due to NHS issues blah blah, has vastly improved my life and would recommend it wholeheartedly if you haven't tried it already. The RSD etc still exists but focus and anxiety have improved greatly while I've been taking my medications.
Kindof interesting use of holy priest priest mechanics here, ppl often don't notice they've died until angel form expires. So they think the second person to die pulled.
I started playing WoW in mid TBC as a gnome rogue (which I still play) but decided to change things up a bit during Cata and rolled a BDK. During a dungeon boss encounter I positioned the boss wrong and we wiped, and I got a torrent of abuse from one of the group members that I still have not forgotten to this day. I quit WoW for the next two expansions as a result. Looking back on that now however, I question myself as to why I allowed a person who I will never see or meet in my lifetime make me quit the game I love. I'm having a blast in MoP remix, it's a nice throwback to what I missed out on because of that person, and I hope they do the same for WoD and other expansions. TLDR: To anyone considering to quit the game because of one toxic player like I did, DON'T, don't let them win. I still regret that I did. There are FAR more good people playing the game than toxic, trust me. They are just the silent majority.
I don't even do M+, never have, I'm a Raider all the way up from LFR to Mythic, hey there from the other side by the way. Been watching these videos to understand more about those of you who run M+ vs us Raiders. What you went through was complete nonsense. Can tell you I would have had their head about it, if not their arms and legs first. I have a dear friend who is autistic with all the same things you described about yourself and he has a hard time keeping it up with friends. I don't have any of these disabilities myself, nothing of the sort but I and one other person are the only ones who have stuck it through and through with him for years now. He's greatly independent and very strong in character but these things can be trying for him so I don't doubt that it was an awful experience for you. Keep strong and always hold your ground like you did here. There are neurotypicals who don't see the struggles of neurodivergents as any reason to turn a blind eye to you and only see you for you. Now I'm sure you got tons of people at your side, you may not even need to hear any of this. But given my own friend, I'm sure I'm always going to remember this video now and think back on it a few times. So I just wanted to say something.
Wow... these guys were another kind of assholes (and yes, I wrote this on purpose). I would wish for Blizz to see this and take decisive action against the toxicity for once. And i commend you for staying this calm and collected. Thank you for sharing your story!
The best thing you can do is, push your io, do higher key, and you will be away from players like that. 8-12 keys are the hardest, not because the key difficulty, but because the players.
Hey, I just came across your video and I like the style. I usually am a pvp only player, however my gf likes to do pve so i have been diving into the deep end with that. Could you maybe provide the code for your UI, it looks so god dam clean and ive been struggling to find one that allows me to have the space and style that doesnt look too full yet too bland :) Earned a sub from me to be honest, i love this format
Hey! I'm really glad you enjoy the content, especially as you don't usually run PvE content, that means a lot. The UI and everything else can be found on Discord. I had a M+ WA soundpack that uses the voice of my son, but that's only available to Twitch subs and Patreons. There's quite a bit of crossover between ADHD/Autism/OCD etc, but not all the same ofc. It is a real shame that there's a massive lack of understanding for mental health and so many just see this as an excuse. I would love for those people to spend a day in our shoes. I wish you guys all the best, hope to see you on stream one day
@@Dillisan i dont even wanna spend a day in my shoes half the time, honestly it would be hell for them. but one day im sure the understanding of mental health actually being a struggle will be known. luckly recently i made a friend on wow that really understands this stuff and i explained my issues to them and they help me out alot when it comes to issues like this pvp, so might take a little dip in pve and see how it is with them :) and thank you ill be sure to pop in asap!!
Do you think retail is worth getting in to right now? Should I just wait for The War Within in a couple months? I mostly played Classic WoW but it's gotten so incredibly boring. Looking for something new.
That's a tough question to answer. The content is pretty stale for most if you've played previous seasons, that's purely because there's no new content and everything we have are from previous seasons. The gearing is super fast due to the bullion system, so you can buy all the best raid gear without wishing for it in the Vault. This is great, but also makes the vault very underwhelming. I'm still having a ton of fun, but I also have a great community and friends to play with, that makes a massive difference for me. There's also the beta to consider, if you're interested in that sort of thing and if you actually have access. So I don't know really. If you wanna get back into the game before TWW and want a super fast way to gear, sure. If not, perhaps wait for TWW. Oh, MOP Remix is the best way to level right now! So if you want a new main or an alt, want a new race/name without paying for it, MOP Remix is also worth considering!
@@Dillisan Speaking of Remix, I had a Priest spamming "Leap of Faith" on me in LFR Mogu'shan for absolutely no reason other than they thought it was fun. Prior to them chain spamming "Leap of Faith" on me, I had not talked to them, nor did I rush to pull a boss like most people do in Remix. They just thought it was funny to annoy me. I honestly think they should turn "Neural Silencer MK3" into a toy with a 10-second cooldown that provides a 1-hour buff, usable everywhere, to prevent people with bad intentions from misusing their abilities on others for the sole purpose of annoying people.
I'm just a casual player. This is the very reason I don't try. I'm not the best at the game. I love to learn but this is what keeps me from trying. No guild and no friends that still play. Sorry you experienced this behavior. On a side note my wife works with children on the spectrum. We are very active in and with the Autism community. Thank you for this video
I would say for your AoE DPS I would get a flame shock weakaura. It tells you the amount of flame shocks you have up between 1 and 6 shocks. It will help you realize if you are doing a good job spreading your flame shocks which will also help your DPS because when you use your primordial wave Lighting bolt combination, the lighting bolts will hit the amount of flame shocked targets and the haste buff you gain will be based on the number of flame shocked targets. Hope it helps.
There should be a data base made of toxic players, that blizz could stop players joining groups if they have a history where they have been reported , i know it could be used to stop good people from playing but im sure they could look at the comments passed through a raid and see who is at fault
Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself. Even though I haven't been diagnosed officially (it's expensive where I live as an adult, and I slipped through the cracks as a kid) I strongly suspect I have it based on my lived experiences, and I have similar challenges to what you describe. Regarding the actual toxicity I hope Blizzard sees this and actions the accounts because not only is this against the Player Code of Conduct (and Social Contract) but it's just plain discriminatory and is the kind of attitude that drives good players away. I always try and be nice, friendly and welcoming to all and all abilities and it sucks seeing this kind of stuff (not the killing thing, but we have had similar Pug toxicity back in SL). Great video and thanks again for sharing.
Enhance easily is the melee spec with the highest skill ceiling so don't worry about your dps performance too much. It plays very differently from most melees and takes quite a while to get into properly, especially the AoE. You just have so many choices in how to deliver your damage that those options need to become second nature. Also, if the tank is pulling big, you will always be behind other specs that aren't practically hard capped at 6 targets. For example a high Fortified key with bolstering should make your Enhance look a lot better. There's a good reason why players such as Petko make Enhance (or Ele) look broken, when the average performance of the spec is mid.
Quick tip as 4 year long enhancement main. With current tier set, just send wolves/prim wave on CD. I know it feels more "correct" to use them together but with current tier set it kinda tosses that idea out of the window. It doesnt matter if you dont get full impact from prim wave CDR on wolves use, overall it will be a dps gain. Enhancement is complicated, but extremely satisfying when you get it! Keep it up man, Im sure you will come to enjoy the spec more and more the more you keep playing it
As someone who has played at practically every level of play people like that disgust me. Not super common, but sadly people with super high ratings on occasion like to do exactly that to lower rating people and it is beyond dumb.
I tried playing it at the start of the season, my single target was great but man I suck with AoE. Sadly I'm doing too many things and had to drop the Shaman for now :(
I'm sorry you had to go through that Dilli. We're all with you that it was their own insecurity about their own mistakes that caused them to try and offload it to you. Vile way to treat someone in general, if they thought you were trolling, why hadn't they asked earlier? If you were making mistakes, why didn't they assume you just didn't know and needed a bit of help? I hate how everything goes to negative and accusatory first without a second thought.
Do you have to keybind your abilities and be in spec, build and potential race+ class combo to just be able to do Mythic+? I remember doing it in Legion Expansion and got to like, level 4?
For pushing higher keys you would need to keybind your abilities yes, at least the important ones. I'm sure there are some clickers out there but they're definitely in the minority. For Specs depends on key level and if you're pugging or playing with friends; for pugs you'll have a hard time getting invited if you aren't a meta spec but you can always try pushing your own key. For races just go on looks/personal preference it's not that big of a deal unless you're pushing for title or very high keys with coordinated groups.
When i played Enchance in season 2 i think it was i seem to remember frostshock doing most of my AoE dammage, you seem to not use the charges on it, so you waste alot of the procks.. I havent played it in a while, but i do think you should try to prio to get rid of the frost shock charges before using the chain lightning proc
Another member mentioned this in the previous video, but by then I'd already recorded this one. So hopefully next weeks episode you see more usage, although I still didn't achieve the numbers I was hoping for but we'll see!
I never understood why every mutliplayer game these days has to be competitive. I do understand it when you actually play against other players, but besides pvp, you play together as a team. I hate that about world of warcraft. This is extremly frustrating for new players or for players whom acually trying new classes/specs out. If you do something wrong that should be totally ok in every scenario. Even if that happens a second or third time. I'm always staying positive when I do keys or raids, trying to help others out, staying friendly. It's a game and we should have fun. I understand why some players just wanna play alone or having a hard time finding new friends. It's just not easy anymore. What these people have said should not happen to anyone. I don't understand why blizzard just doesn't account ban these kind of people with their extremly toxic behavior. You do well and I'm very happy that you are playing enhancement shaman! It's a beautiful class, even if it seems difficult at times.
I think one of the things that might help you out with your aoe rotation is making sure you're using frostshock in between each Maelstrom Weapon cast. I'm not the greatest enh shaman by any means but most of the time after a dungeon frost shock is in my top 2 damage over the dungeon, and watching this I can see that you're over-capping on hailstorm procs pretty often. Hopefully I'm not backseating too hard and I hope this is somewhat helpful :D
a lot of people do not understand or think of adhd as a real disability, keep it up i completely understand what you are going through. also one thing ive seen you can do better on your aoe is use your 10 stack frost shocks more before you use your spenders that will help you a lot i see you eating 10 stacks a lot.
I actually forgot to mention this in the video, even though it's in my notes...derp! I only found out about these after I recorded all the footage, I will be buying some of these now :D
I don't understand what's going on this season, but I've been experiencing toxicity in nearly half of my keys so far. (not exactly at this level, but pretty aggressive nonetheless) I also have ADHD and struggle with anxiety and being self-conscious in keys, so I'm especially sensitive to that sort of stuff. It's completely turned me off of running any M+ in season 4 at all. It was really satisfying to see you manage to finish off that key despite the holy priest trolling you like that though. Props for not quitting the key and keeping on despite all of the cruelty.
toxicity, i had one when we finish a time key and the healer died, and i say gg and hearth. i knowingly for playing my monk, the healer whisper me out of the other 4 ppl and called me an idiot because i did not res him/her at the end of the run. omg, some of those 30yrs old need to be thought respect man sometimes.
This is why I mostly do my own key when I play my alts. Low keys be really bad, but when I do my own key i choose who to invite. And if anyone is a bad apple and ruin my fun I just put em on ignore or maybe just leave the key. It's my key then, so I don't feel so bad about leaving since I'm only bricking my own key.
i had a funny encounter last night in a +7 nokud offensive, the ret pally called me a trash tank even though he didn't interrupt 1 single time in a 37 minute failed key, that's right 37 minutes and not a single interrupt, of the 25 deaths he was 16 of them. Some DPS players are so delusional its scary. They cant even do the basics.
That BH group was toxic AF! Don't be afraid to brick keys like this, then make sure all the rage whispers go to a separate window which you close and neither read nor respond to, then submit a report for harassment.
As a tank there have been times when a priest has used leap of faith on me by accident. Personally, it's not something I have bound to a key when I play priest, because I don't want to accidentally press it. Same goes for BL/ TW
One of the many reasons why I just do a small amount of weekly keys and then I'm out. Why chance having to deal with some gremlin man child for 30 mins when I can do anything else with my time.
As a tank, you get used to the abuse pretty quickly. One mistake, trash tank. Pull too slow, trash tank. Pull too fast, trash tank, ,someone dies, trash tank, not taking the most optimal route or whatever, trash tank.
On 3rd boss in Halls its a good idea to use your defensive in the overlap after LOS mechanic (where you have to move, seems many healers fall behind there), and use Guidance together with prim wave window when healer is falling behind
Honestly I would have reported everyone in that BH, they at least were violating the social contract. Yet I would hope they would have gotten a vacation for how they were intentionally griefing you towards the end of the key. That sort of behavit is why i sadly use personal blacklist as well, there are players that I run into that act in a similar manner that I just make sure to avoid anytime I run into them again.
This a pretty common occurrence, at least so I've seen. I main a healer and I'm done with mythics, especially after the change this season. The shit I saw in even M0 was abhorrent, I don't want to even bother climbing keys (not that I intended to go higher than 5s.) As far as I'm concern Blizzard's changes not only to M+ but to the classes in general are just encouraging more toxicity. I am really done with it. I have enough social and performance anxiety as is. All my friends have left the game and it's not worth the pain to pug anymore.
You’re a better person than me. I would have absolutely put them on blast on the forums or Reddit for that kind of nonsense. For all the good it wouldn’t have done. Keep your head up and keep rocking.
❗Watch OneAzerothTV's take on the Brackenhide run: ruclips.net/video/Ixj8cV1k5jQ/видео.htmlsi=fu_VjDZ7Zmkzwt0I
actually insane that people will willingly throw an easily timeable key over an accidental pull (not to mention trying to assassinate a player mid-run over it)
But it wasn't even me who pulled anything, it was their duo friend lol. It just goes to show the ego of some players I guess, such a shame.
@@Dillisan ofc they wont flame their buddy... he/she is absolutely perfect
Being positive and trying to help the dude out is always better for all partys
You are also a better man than me cause I would have made the priest cry with shit I would have said.
Great suggestion :)
I think you are an inspiration to many of us who play and have disabilities (I have dyslexia and ADD myself) and your videos are always interesting and fun to watch!
Thank you, that means a lot. I'm glad you're enjoying the content, it means the world
@@Dillisan Keep em coming. Helps me keep my sanity as a m+ pug tank
@@peterpain6625 I'm glad you're enjoying my pain xD
@@Dillisan It's a shared experience. Trust me. The abuse you get as a tank is amusing ;)
@@peterpain6625 Oh believe me I know :D
:D you know what is funny i met a lot of HIgh end player with high IO and arena ratings and all that never ever i experienced toxicity from them those peopel were nice and always had some cool things to teach me :D
This person is wishing to be like them and he can't be so he is toxic
@@lukeluckynblue1873 the m+ toxic community aren't the actual high end players, it's the 2K6 to 3K io player in the late season, they are good at the game but not good enough, so they blame everyone else but themselves, which leads to insane toxicity
dont you mean the heal priest?
This is what i hate so much. People pulling yet blaming someone else. And then trolling you for the rest of the run. People like that are only toxic ingame. In real life they are the quiet guys who can't even speak up for themselfes
Nah, they are toxic everywhere. You just cant see it IRL because they cant even speak properly as you mentioned :).
Nah, he pulled the mob not them... watch closely.
thank god we signed that social contract and blizzard does an active job at keeping these turds at bay
Even so, it was only once, I used to push very high keys, and even that used to happen, and just once there's no need to worry, and even more so with such a low key.
people just want reasons to take out their frustration on someone else
Really enjoyed this video! This is a great example of how toxic some pug keys can be. Great video and keep having fun!
Proud of you for standing up for yourself and not giving in there and then having the maturity to complete the key! Small people, small minds.
Pugging has been REALLY bad recently. I don't know that I have seen THAT specific type of toxicity, but its not uncommon sadly.
Do you have the raw footage from that run? I review low keys with funny or unique stuff occurring, would love to have a look at the full run unedited!
:0 Metro spotted
Hey, happy to discuss this on Discord and possibly send the footage. I got nothing to hide
@@Dillisan Awesome, sent you a message on discord!
All the good players already quit after week 1 or 2 , theres only garbage players left with toxic attitude, its crazy
That amount of toxicity is insanity... Im sorry you had to go through that.
My theory is people (not all) who played for fun have left dragonflight because Season 4 doesn't appeal to them. This leaves a higher concentration of people playing the game for other reasons, with some people playing it because they've played for so long they don't know what else to do. They are not enjoying the game, and when they group up, they bring that bad energy, intentional or not, which ends up creating bad group environment.
this is why ppl ask for more and more solo content. i have done every season since legion keystone master apart from this season when I had enough.
This is amazing, nice one! You chose such a hard spec too, impressive. Thank you for the love on the content, I'm glad you're enjoying them
I was in the top 10000 Fury Warriors in the world, how's that for a flex
@@philmehrart I actually ended up as rank 27 😄 I do not enjoy this season tho, just got no excitement about jumping on and pushing keys
Thanks !
LMAO
AuDHD here too, I hear you and see you!!
It's common knowledge that Bazza is a waste of even infinite resources, let alone finite ones.
This might not sound great, but I'm really glad to see you struggle with a spec - sometimes I pick one up and realise that no matter how much I learn, it just does not vibe with me and I can't make it work, and it's really nice to see I'm not alone in that
(I'm still rooting for you to improve and master it though! Good luck!)
The ADHD kiss/curse affix is real
As someone with Asperger's, adhd, social acceptance, and rejection sensitivity as well.... I truly understand were you're coming from!! keep up the vids! I really enjoy them. I've had people blaming other people for pulling, but never someone actively trying to kill them through the hole key..... thats a new level toxicity I've never seen before.... that was just straight up bullying for zero reason..
As another player with ADHD and trying to play outlaw rogue, I relate a lot to this! Glad to have found your channel!
You’re calling the priest bad when but he has title from multiple seasons. I guess the rest of us are complete garbage then?
@@Narium413 he probably bought the account then, idk he was playing like trash
@@Narium413 the priest is trash and the title is nothing special, and to be very honest, yes, the majority of the playerbase in this game is... not really good.. I learned that over the past years when I was pushing above even pretty decent ratings
Wow, I have legit never seen something like that. Good on you for standing your ground my friend.
If you start the video at 13 minutes, and only focus on your toxic M+ experience, this video will BLOW UP. Cut the fluff and go viral!!!
I am happy you showesd what happened. Im anxious to return to M+ due to these situations. I joined your discord and hopefully get on cracking soon with M+. Thank you
One of the best KSH series around❤keep up the good work bro! Don't let the toxic people get you.. quite idiot behaviour they did..
That's when I deep dove into research and found I do indeed have ADHD! xD
I do suggest doing a bit of research on it, especially if you're interested, I've found few people know about the types of ADHD - Hyperactive, Inattentive and combined. Learning about the inattentive type was my gateway into finally understanding myself and living.
Everybody is a tough guy behind the screen. Dont let it get you down.
Wow dude that sucks you had to deal with that, that is beyond toxic, thats brutal dude. Hopefully your runs after have been better since.
dps is the only thing thing they care about, typically overall dps, while its often the least impotant part since "blasting" is everything ppl focus on, yes if you play as non meta dps the snipefest can be really awful, even if you are actually competent at your spec + do utility, save your bigest cds on hardest pulls etc. global ignore list addon is a nice thing to have, over 400 names by now and its supposed to be infinite, ppl are ignored on all your alts too. just a tiny request if the author of the addon ever sees it, please add an option to disable the auto message that gets sent to them that you have ignored them if they try to continue to flame you in whisper after its done. i dont want ANY interaction at all after they are ignored even if they cant whisper more. i couldnt find the option at least. but yea a fellow sentient being player here, big respect to you :)
There is a handy little item you can keep in your bags if things like this is to happened ever again, get a few "Magical Intrusion Dampener" and some things can not be used on you ( such as leap of faith, misdirection and tricks of the trade )
I believe "Neural Silencer MK3" is much cheaper and does the same thing. I wish they would turn this into a short cooldown toy.
You expect how something will work like how the Tank will pull in Neltharus, what can cause danger etc but if something unexpenctedly happened you suddently dont know what to do and you just start pressing random Keys which led your Rotation getting fucked-up 😂
Dang man, sorry to hear that. I've been having my share of bad experiences returning from a long break (legion)
Either way, it leaves a sour taste
when cross realm trading and cross faction trading were added into the game (inside instance for cross faction) people did this A LOT. dungeon going smoothly, big blasters, none really speaks and then at last boss tank and his dps friend leaves the party and says to trade gold to tank if they wanna finish the key or they wont join back to party keeping the group hostage. this was super nasty and toxic af -.-
bro, I have the same issues as you have, keep on keeping on, you are blasting!
I’ve barely started to do Mythics as a prot war this past month or so - I stick to super low keys where people seem grateful to even be part of a group .
i have autsim and ADHD, this makes wow a lot harder then people think.....
So I just wanted to say something.
people been toxic is the reason why my wife would not play in any higher difficulty group content anymore. Great job you're doing here. Thank you!
Wow... these guys were another kind of assholes (and yes, I wrote this on purpose).
Could you maybe provide the code for your UI, it looks so god dam clean and ive been struggling to find one that allows me to have the space and style that doesnt look too full yet too bland :)
Earned a sub from me to be honest, i love this format
WoW is sure breaking records with the amount of toxic behavior.
Coming here a bit late to say that this cursed brakenhide seems like a hellish experience
Hope you like new echancement better after rework
I tried playing it at the start of the season, my single target was great but man I suck with AoE. Sadly I'm doing too many things and had to drop the Shaman for now :(
@@Dillisan I feel you, i also tried enchancer and got completely overwhelmed by the rotation and now maining ret which is lots of fun and pretty easy
@@TheFaithfulStar We have taken the same path lol, Ret is the way!
That is exactly why I keep a stack of neural silencers or similar on me.
Also my RSD is so bad I cannot typically pug T.T it's rough, sorry to hear you have so many of the issues but you are doing great, keep it up.
toxicity, i had one when we finish a time key and the healer died, and i say gg and hearth. i knowingly for playing my monk, the healer whisper me out of the other 4 ppl and called me an idiot because i did not res him/her at the end of the run. omg, some of those 30yrs old need to be thought respect man sometimes.
thats wild, I 100% would have just left the key.
I can't imagine these people have much fun in their life so they try and bring others down. Their biggest achievements in life is their m+ rating.
i had a funny encounter last night in a +7 nokud offensive, the ret pally called me a trash tank even though he didn't interrupt 1 single time in a 37 minute failed key, that's right 37 minutes and not a single interrupt, of the 25 deaths he was 16 of them. Some DPS players are so delusional its scary. They cant even do the basics.
can you please tell me witch addons you use on this perfect UI?
Have you thought about trying hekili priority helper? it would help you with the dps :D
You know what, it might actually help lol
@@Dillisan 😁
You’re a better person than me. I would have absolutely put them on blast on the forums or Reddit for that kind of nonsense. For all the good it wouldn’t have done.
Keep your head up and keep rocking.
