I have the same setup but have a cab and third function with hydraulic chute. It works like a dream here in Northern Wisconsin. Also, can snowblow in a t-shirt

That was the best video of the CK 2610 using the front snow blower I have seen. Thanks for making this video. Great job . I enjoyed seeing the Kioti using another great implement this tractor is made for......using all kinds of attachments just makes it more fun and useful

Thanks! I am loving my tractor.. Just hit 100 hours this winter and with my flail mower I go this fall, I will get some more seat time this summer. Thanks for watching!

I'm sure Kioti makes a block heater for this tractor. Buy, install, and run an extension cord to the block heater and you might never see the glow plug light again. It will have the oil and block already warm and ready to go when you go to start it. Great video and a nice set-up you have there.

@@fearlbridgefarms9409 did you find a block heater ? as of 2023, February my dealer said the only option was a third party that they did not recommend based on customer feedback from others. I'd like to find one though.

Enjoyed the video. As I’ve commented before I love seeing the 2610 so different things and rub different attachments then I have for mine.
In the winter I sure wish I had the cab on mine but not too bad plowing as long as the snow isn’t blowing around.

Thanks for watching! I am enjoying my 2610 so far with really no issues at all... not sure what attachment is coming next. I am thinking maybe a post hole digger! take care!

My 2610 works well with the post hood digger as long as I’m not into rocks, but living in New England, all we have is rocks. Lol
If you are lucky enough to have fairly good soil, they are a great tool!

In a few days I'll have the cab version. I opted for the rear blower so I can use the bucket at the same time. I'm also considering installing an aftermarket back-up camera.

May you please let me know how high the snowblower can loft off the ground? I have a steel part of my driveway that gies down to the shop and i am hoping it raises up 16-18 inches or high from the ground. Please advise. Thanks!

That works really good in such a large framed 25Hp tractor, does the mid PTO operate at 2k rpms? It sure throws it much further than rear PTO snowblowers.

Great video - thanks for taking the time to put this together. It sure answered a lot of question I had on the snowblower that my dealer couldn't answer. Question on the mid-pto - looking to add one to my 3510 and then get the blower. Does the mid-pto engage from the same switch as the rear pto?

    • @robertrapp5953
      @robertrapp5953 Год назад

Yes. There is a separate lever that engages and disengages the mid pto. If it is engaged the PTO turns on the mid PTO

I am investigating the purchase of exactly the same package. However, Normand, I believe is the manufacturer of your blower says you need 25 HP at the PTO to run that blower but the 2610 only has 19 HP. Do you have much trouble in wet snow?

Interesting comment on the glow plug. I recently purchased a kioti ck2610 with cab and during the intro walk around, the dealer suggested doing exactly what you did, i.e. cycling the glow plugs 2 and even 3 times before attempting a start. Why? The dealer said the starter cost $800 or $1200 (i forget which, but very expensive either one!) for this tractor and having it spin longer during cold starts would inevitably shorten its life.
    At any rate, Enjoy!

I live in Eastern Washington, Ho well would this HP rated tractor and snow blower do say in 12-14 inches of wet snow?? Would the discharge chute get clogged? Is the 2610 have enough HP for heavy snow loads. Your video looks like light fluffy powder snow. Would you suggest a higher HP rated tractor.??

I would not be afraid of putting my machine through 12-14 inches of wet snow. I keep the rpms up and put it in low range. I have not had it clog up on me yet. Thanks for watching!

Sir Thank you for the response. Have recently purchased a CK-2160 w/Snow Blower and Back Blade. Question - Have a 500 ft x 30 ft driveway which has 1/2 to 1 inch basalt gravel cover.. Don't want to plow up the gravel in the process of snow removal. Any tips, suggestions or whatever to deal with this?? You make it look so easy. Also I plan on storing the tractor in an unheated pole barn during the winter months -Any issues with the diesel fuel going to Gell??

@@user-gw7lg1qk7l Nice! My driveway is also gravel. I did a video about "expanding my backblade" .. link below.. I basically sleeved the backblade with pressure treated 2x lumber so it does not dig into the gravel. It scrapes the snow off the gravel. After a few snowfalls, the gravel is compacted together and blower glides right over it. I do have my side glides on the blower housing down so my blower is not scraping the gravel as well...
