Regular screening during the reproductive age can ensure an early detection & treatment (Part - 08)

Regular pap smear screening every 3 years above the age of 21-25 is ideal. For women of aged 30 & above till the age of 65 years, it is recommended to undergo testing for HPV alone or HPV test with pap-smear test, every 5 years. If the last pap smear and HPV report done after the age of 65 are normal, you can discontinue screening.
