Yeah 8000 in every other country- 28k in United States that hates it’s citizens. Rangers and s10 s use to be 9k with a full body on frame. Get rid of the dealerships and maybe we could get an affordable auto again. There greed kills any chance of getting these for even 10k.
$8000 for basic model, with necessities at another program. Don’t forget the dock fee of $12,000, electronic filing fee $4000, delivery charge $3000 and an acquisition fee of $2500 after tax tax entitled out the door price $33,000.
Anything GM, walk away. Subaru always under deliver, are very slow on new developments. Toyota, that's the one but, forget it Yanks, not coming your way. Good luck with your 84 month loans!
LOL Ford bronco's are going for 50-70k. r they kidding us? these will rot on the loads. F150's are also sitting on the lots. Mavericks are selling pretty quick around 22k 30k. EV's like the mustang, 70-80k with no ZZZZZOOOOOOOMMMMMM ZOOM.
wow so many negative comments, from the big shots that drop 80-120k on a full size, then the "man" comes 3 months later to haul it away. I see many of them (Full Size) driving around the country, and barely seen any being used for loads. Ford came out with the Maverick, I believe 2022, well base was like 20k, but they were impossible to get under 6-8 months, due to demand. I ordered one, but 6 months later still did not arrive, so I ended up getting a 2022 z71 Colorado that was over priced due to chip issues. I seldom have any loads, but if needed and most of us, home uses, use it for short distances. Then in that case, hook yourself up with a $1500 tow utility wagon.
they truck and car industry is crashing, why buy a used vehicle for 25,000 with 200,000 miles on it. Hopefully the 8,000 base truck will have lower insurance for replacement.
No, I am sorry. These vehicles are made for yuppies not for the working people that go out for fire wood or fishing and camping. You can say I am wrong. Give us back a real truck that already did that and more with out all this wasted technology.
Exactly, I don't need safety (light, beeping and flashing all the time ) or bigger tv or monitor or camera to record my bad driving . I need a truck to get to work keep all my tools and has heat for winters . I could use roll up windows if it's helps in getting rid of more technology , not that God damn lazy I can't roll up and down a window, regular keys ( no battery stuff ) could even get rid of blinkers not that anyone uses them . A solid bed , some good bumpers - going to run into something no matter how many flashing lights or noises you add. Oh a cup holder and ashtray , cigarette lighter . Regular shifter , the electric ones I forget to put in park all the time. As for heat , on off switch and a knob to turn up higher , feet and defrost is good enough . No need for exactly the degrees. It's either cold or good .. No plastic as it all gets broke first anyway . Oh a good engine/ trans (4x4 for winters ) a tow package for my trailers and we good
The 8k trucks will sell. The 25k truck will stack up like core wood like all the 2024 models. The Tesla model c is another low priced competitor. After all, auto manufactures have dementia as the popularity of the origonal mustang and initial Toyota offerings were low cost car. In an era where incomes and benifits are constantly under seize, expensive cars will be novelties. Car manufacturers either get the memo or got out of business.
I, too am more interested in a el-camino, ranchero style vehicle in this price range. These are too large, too far off the ground, too many doors, getting the milage of a pick-up....... no thanks.....
You know why cant yall make something we can design on our own or oick style what kind of features and accessories make it very dependable cheap on gas and the pocket cause listen its not about jacking the price up you sell more you make more thats how it should go not oh ill just add more to the price no thats the problem
My neighbor has that Toyota he bought used for $3K and uses it for his painting business. He loves it.
$8000 then another $15000 for engine and wheels
Ho yes, you sound right.

The Toyota looks like what we need. Rugged, dependable, easy to own, and doesn't cost a fortune.
Make the quad cab a custom vehicle and a standard two door a basic that costs less!

Anyone with a job making under $30.00 per hr. That's a big market.
Honestly, I'm more interested in a single cab Ranchero or Ranchero type vehicle in this price range.
This is almost information free.
Doesn't break the bank... but DOES break a day after the one year warranty expires?
Toyota and Subaru are doable. As for GM QUESTIONABLE!?!?!
May be ...40 years ago.
Finally the car companies are getting the memo. All the over priced models will not sell. Get ready for mythic write off losses.
the Subaru sounds like the only one with a possibly decent tow rating
Warranty fee 25k
So please tell me, where are these vehicles
Glad to see Subaru is coming back
😂😂😂 with dealership fees, upgrades and markups of $55-75K.
Too short a bed , that isnt a truck and turbo chargers wear out small engines way too fast!
Anything GM, walk away. Subaru always under deliver, are very slow on new developments. Toyota, that's the one but, forget it Yanks, not coming your way. Good luck with your 84 month loans!
But NOT in America.
LOL Ford bronco's are going for 50-70k. r they kidding us? these will rot on the loads.

Seems that the $8,000.00 is not practical. It would be nice though
I'd settle for a sedan less than $10k.
Would buy Subaru or toyoto😢
