Battery wasn’t pre conditioned. Also your result is exactly what Volvo have said it would take, 10-80% in around 27 mins, 2% to 80% in 33 mins is about right. Nearly every EV will throttle down at the 80% mark.
The battery wasn't pre-conditioned, and it's been reported that pre-conditioning is turned off below 20% SoC. Why? I don't know. Hopefully, Volvo changes that via OTA.
@@RoamingNorwaythen you obviously don’t follow manufacturer’s suggestions. This is common practice for EV battery for longevity reasons. Not much different than your phone.
Sounds like the battery was not preconditioned. The heater kicked in when charging began, which probably explains the curve. Does it excuse a 20kW limit? IDK. How cold was it outside? My '20 Niro limits power to 20kW when the lowest battery cell temp is below 5°C.
Charge rate falling off the cliff after 50% seems shocking. If it isn’t an error that can be corrected via update, I see no compelling reason to give up my 120Ah i3 anytime soon.

Still disappointed
we don't suppose to charge to 100 in road trip. I just charge to 70-80 and move on.
@@BlackPawGamingyes Volvo recommends charge up to 90% and not drop to less than 20% for most daily driving.

Straight of the highway and moderate temperatures outsides. Should absolutely not throttle like it did.
Well, that’s why it’s important to read the owners manual… you should preconditioned the battery before charging, and also avoid gets below 20%…
Avoid getting below 20%? The customer paid for the whole battery, not 80% of it.

Which app was you using?
Bilkraft BKK. Great app.

This was not good, but arnt the Tessla throttling to?
Nope.
