He’s always seemed like a nice, genuine person. And so diverse in his talent. It’s sad that people can be so mean and have so little compassion for someone when they go through bad times.

I keep hearing incredible things about, "The Whale", it seems that movie was truly his first BIG come back move. He got a standing ovation for 5 minutes. I'm just scared to watch it because it looks so sad and raw :(

To me, that Brendan Fraser clapping meme was just another great reaction gif. I had no idea people were mocking him for it and I don't even understand why.
I'm so glad his career has been revived. I grew up watching his films, and I hate to see people hit rock bottom and never return. Good to see he's doing well.
_Now_ there's not a single person out there who doesn't like him. Back when the photoshopped crying Brendan/"just fuck my shit up" meme was trending, there definitely was a prevailing air of mockery towards him as a hasbeen. Only when circumstances of his tragic life came to light - the divorce/child support issue, the sexual harassment issue and his mother's death - did people start to reflect a little bit and start to question if perhaps they weren't being a bit douchey towards him before.

He is just a mean bully.
Harrison Ford is no longer a youngster and he gets to act. The Mummy with Tom Cruise, well was way too serious. What Harrison and Brendan have in common is that we laugh with them. Tom...was just being Tom.
He was the Chris Pratt of the 90's.
I just said this b4 I saw your comment. I agree.
No buddy, Chris Pratt is the Brendan Fraser of the 10s...
Dr.Kutulu Yeah, same thing.
Chris Pratt is a piece of shit.
@@mindoverbread1213 Because?
how shallow and insecure does one have to be to make a big deal over the way he clapped?
that's Hollywood for ya....
What's wd d clap?
So it isn’t just me. Was confused about that as well. If anything that made him even more sympathetic.
I suppose if one isn't a nerd, they might see his clapping style as a bit off-putting. Who knows? A lot of people don't revel in the uncommon and bizarre, or macabre, even. As a misfit, myself, I can completely relate to the struggle of being a handsome dork. It's real.
total shallow, muddy waters people
This made me cry. Brendan I’m so happy to hear that you’re in a much happier place now. You’re always cool and wonderful to me :) we here love you so much!
Can anyone claim that they've never had a public awkward moment?...I sure as hell can't
Pfft, if only it was just one.
I've decided to embrace them...life is a lot less stressful that way
But your name is Karl with a C
@@R6-D2 I know...it's utterly ridiculous
He seems like a genuinely nice guy,and blast from the past is a great underrated film..
it breaks my heart thinking about how much he went through. he's a good man and i know he's going to come back stronger then ever.
Maybe he's an empath, very sensitive.
No, hollywood chews you up and spits you out, an inhumane kosher machine full of false idols and empty dreams. Literally a hell factory
@@jeekyboi9564 hopefully his new role in that upcoming western film will break that mold
I remember watching this video when it came out 3 years ago thinking Brendan Fraser deserved more!! Glad to say he just did it as he won an oscar ! You go Brendan 🎉☺️!!!
Brendon Fraser was an always will be one of my favorite actors!
Also “Blast From The Past” was amazing!
He is such a kind person, you can see it in his eyes and he’s incredibly talented! I’m soooo happy he is back on his feet. Bless you Brendan ♥️
Man, I like Blast from the Past.
me too, i love it too
I agree. Great cast too. Not sure why the bad reviews.
I love it.
Well i know mom sure likes them
😆
It's a good movie :)
His turnaround has been amazing. The roles in the Affair and Trust have shown him to be a very powerful dramatic actor.
Blast From the Past is a very underrated movie. One of my all-time favorites.
I concur.
Same
I watched it again recently. So sweet💜
Yeah. Enjoyed it
Yes
idk why everyone hates blast from the past, i consider that one of his best comedy's
Oh I agree. One of my favorite movies actually.
Agreed, it's one of those movies I just keep coming back to.
to me its very original thats why I liked it
Leave my elevator alone.
I loved that movie!
He’s always seemed like a nice, genuine person. And so diverse in his talent. It’s sad that people can be so mean and have so little compassion for someone when they go through bad times.
You can see that the haunted look in his eye is due to more than “a pinch on the butt”. I’m so sorry he’s been through so much pain because I’ve always loved him 🥺
@Fraser, The Big Fat Liar. Omigosh…..😢
Brendan Fraser seems to be a kind hearted sensitive person. I wish him the best. He has been a successful actor. Keep your head up brother.
He's literally one of my favorite actors. Disappointed he's not in more movies.
He married a Preying Mantis. after she divorced him she sued him for "hiding future projects from her".
May God bless and protect this fine man
That’s beautiful.
💚🧚♀️
Prayin for ya brother!! 🙏🙏
Absolutely ❤️
My dad named me after Brendan Fraser I really do hope he gets back on his feet he’s a cool dude
If that's true(which it isn't), then your dad can't spell
@@corriblehunt4554 stfu
@@corriblehunt4554 No need to act like a dick.
He wanted to spell it differently
Hollywood won’t let him come back 😒
I keep hearing incredible things about, "The Whale", it seems that movie was truly his first BIG come back move. He got a standing ovation for 5 minutes.
I'm just scared to watch it because it looks so sad and raw :(
He seems like such a sweet, sensitive soul. Love to you, Brendan Fraser.
I think Brendan Fraser still has a bright career and future in front of him if he wants it. He has the talent and he's very likable. I wish him all the best.
Yessss
I miss his goofiness
This breaks my heart. Brendan is one of my first ever crushes and he seems like a good guy. 😭
Lil Zuplada same I fell in love with him when I first saw him in The Mummy
Same, i fell in love with him when i saw ,Encino Man, my heart hurts for him also
@@KarlafromOZ 1st time I saw him on blast from the past 😍
I saw Blast from the Past three times in theaters. Three times. I loved that movie.
To me, that Brendan Fraser clapping meme was just another great reaction gif. I had no idea people were mocking him for it and I don't even understand why.
He was drunk
I'm so glad his career has been revived. I grew up watching his films, and I hate to see people hit rock bottom and never return. Good to see he's doing well.
i dont think theres a single person out there who doesnt like him
world wide
He looks like Tobey maguire and Nicholas cage fused together
_Now_ there's not a single person out there who doesn't like him. Back when the photoshopped crying Brendan/"just fuck my shit up" meme was trending, there definitely was a prevailing air of mockery towards him as a hasbeen. Only when circumstances of his tragic life came to light - the divorce/child support issue, the sexual harassment issue and his mother's death - did people start to reflect a little bit and start to question if perhaps they weren't being a bit douchey towards him before.
Zebastian exactly I love him. And after seeing this video I adore him
As I get older I get behind these "fallen stars" more. I think it's the nostalgia. I want them all to be happy and successful.
I'll tell you. Winning best actor at the Critic's choice awards and on track to win an Oscar for "The Whale."
Man, I miss him. I didn't even realize how big a role he played in my childhood. George of the Jungle, all the Mummy movies, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Inkheart, Looney Toons, and sooo many more!
Yes!
The longest day 1962 with John Wayne Robert Mitchum Robert Ryan rod Steiger sir Sean Connery Richard battle of the bulge 1965 with Dana Andrews Robert Ryan James MacArthur Charles Bronson telly savalas ty Hardin Robert shaw
Brendan Fraser as Superman would've been a lot of fun. He's got the perfect amount of goofiness to play Clark and can turn on the charm and coolness for Supes. A cool alternate timeline to imagine. Glad he got Robotman and was equally happy to see people excited for him before the show even came out.
Very good actor
George of the jungle, and the mummy were some of my fave movies when I was a kid!
here after his standing ovation for The Whale. so happy for this guy
"Blast from the Past" is still one of my favorites too!
OK, I'm so with you. I adore his role and love Christopher Walken & Sissy, too. It was FABULOUS!
I'm going to be honest, my childhood days were memorable because of the movies he had acted in. Even now so, I still enjoy watching his movies old and few older and seeing this guy just gives me the 90's nostalgia. God bless him with joy and happiness
Brendan Fraser's movies helped get me through some of the worst parts of my childhood.
Weird how that happens mine was Quincy ME
If you ever meet the guy, tell him that.
Frankly, this video makes me want to hug the dude.
Shank Adams Roll them harder, tell us if you see any brains back there
Cool name bro.

Since The Whale is coming up, and Brendan is probably going to be at least nominated for an Oscar, this video will need a remake badly
