All of my earbuds have built in mics. They just don't sit at the end of a rod in front of your mouth.

@@senseitionalgamer correct. 40 dollars up to 120 dollars, aren't affiliated with any console or games, but work fantastically with anything that can can link to wireless earbuds.

@@expressfashionman89 LG and skullcandy. Nothing fancy. I even have a corded pair of KYBs with a mic that plugs into the headphone jack on the controller.
I use JBL earbuds and they've performed better than my turtle beach headset lol

I am loving the Sony/PlayStation Pulse 3D headset! The sound quality is amazing, and I can hear people from a mile away without any discomfort from headset dents. You should give them a try!

Except the fact like every pair of earbuds i buy has a mic on them and the plug fits most jacks so yea it was playing Xbox for years with Skullcandy ear buds i got for 10$ a pack they worked great and had a mic and now i do it on my PC, and wireless earbuds have a mic they just suck cus it's on the side of your head just get some regular wired earbuds guys that have the little mic box on the wire, bonus points if you hold the button it works as a mute button too 👍👍👍👍

Sony’s are way more comfortable and I thought very comparable audio wise.
My only problem with the Sony ones is because they’re wireless, idk how to connect them to my dual PC setup. I need a wire to connect to my audio interface for that.

Not to hate but I’m pretty sure you use studio 64 witch is a 300-2300 dollar ear buds depending on the drivers you get in them so are the Sony actually worth the 200 or is it better to go all out on studios?
I use earphones for Warzone, made my plays at lot better
But is it really the case that buds can serve as a good alternative for positioning in FPS? I mean- the size of the driver that is installed there vs "standard" headphones is quite different...
have you tested Razer Kraken V3 pro? These are total beasts in terms of sound quality for gaming.
best thing you could do is get comfy open backs then you don’t have the headband issue and there the best for sound stage
Actually i bought cheap wireless gaming airbuds and they work amazingly, with a noise canceling mic and a gaming mode for less latency and 26hr charge i absolutely love them

My Dude, You know you can just buy a Boom mic for IEM's or a cable with a mic. Price's are also verry low if you just want a Cable with a mic.

Galaxy buds have built in mics and the have a game mode setting which drastically reduces latency

I've always used airbuds but not high quality and like them wired tbh but just switched to turtlebeach 700gen2 max and it's an adjustment that's for sure i get more sound around me but still needa use them for a Lil bit to adjust everytime I use em
Over ear headphones provide better soundstage in a way that you could hear footsteps from which direction and how far it is better than IEMS.
IEMS are good since they are balanced and provide fairly good noise isolation, but most IEMS including mid range ones can't recreate good soundstage or depth of conventional headphones.
Eitherway IEMS are better since they don't give your head a dent.
theres also a wired option with a dedicated mic called the turtle beach battle buds not too pricey either

I play on ps5 and I just bought a hyper quad cast and that solves the problem of not using earbuds I use the quad cast to stream and talk on PlayStation chat and it works just fine as a solution
Now try iems, i would reccomend the Truthear x crinical iems and the antlion kimura cable with mic.
This gives you a good quality mod mic with a set of iems

the mic is doodoo though. teammates tell me i sound like i’m distant. tried all types of setting adjustments. if you have suggestions, i may try them again

Use a equalizer if on pc better then wasting ur money on audio products that end up all sounding the same unless you spend 300$ plus on studio headphone it won’t matter do yourself a favour and get decent headphones/earbud ect and use audio driver to upgrade it most times it get you exacly what you are looking for
It has nothing to do with headphones vs earbuds. It is the TUNING of the SPECIFIC headphone/iem

The old Apple headphones, I use have a mic on them
So, this is wrong.
Why?
Because it is only there for max, two or three hours if it does actually get to your head, which takes at least four or five hours straight of gaming, for weeks on end EVERY SINGLE DAY.
But you will immediately after only a couple hours that your hair will be flat. But all you have to do is wet your hair and brush it, and you’ll be good 👍

The Nintendo headphones have a mic and the they have the littlest headphones and stick work good but the down side I can just never find them
How do I fix the direction of my audio in my iems?
The reality is that with a wired earbud connection to my controller I hear directional audio very clear and has never been an issue!!!sure a better set of headphones or earbuds can get a better sound in terms of quality and depth but in terms of directional audio it wont be a game changer 😂❤
The shure mic i use on my pc plugs right into my ps5 and works fine, so i can stay using earbuds
The reason pro's use earphones is cause when there at an event they use them for sound and the headset over them for noise cancelling

Funny how you fail to mention that there are plenty of earbuds with built it mics, even some with sound control built in. Pretty scummy saying that these are the only earbuds with a built in mic if you ask me.

Console users can’t use those? Neither consoles support the use of Bluetooth headsets without some kind of adapter. Thats why you buy wires for your buds that have an inline mic Amazon literally sells them for $15.

@@TCaptainX im sure you’re correct about that because they are a Sony product, but anything third party is a no go, and on Xbox everything requires an adapter which causes audio latency.
Xbox has a Bluetooth dongle u can connect earbuds too any earbuds
