    Amazing talk.
    "Talking about race and ethnicity becomes so much easier when you're just telling a story"!

    My favorite part is when he said " talking about race and ethnicity is not racism acting badly towards someone because of their race or ethnicity is"

    I'm all about embracing your last name and heritage...if it's yours. In the case of many Latinos and Black Americans our last names are a result of European colonialism and slavery. My last name doesn't mean squat, it was "given" to me.

      Gifts are given. Your last name was beaten into you. Branded more or less.

    Right out of the gate he is equating illegal immigrants not having the same privileges as citizens with racism. Watching the rest of this video is a complete waste of time if 3 minutes in he's already being dishonest.

    • @Dougn57

      His dishonesty is difficult to watch. Thumbs down!

    You seem to be trapped with the concept of race too much. Why not talk about ethnicity, nationality, etc?

  • @Ubercut
    @Ubercut 3 года назад

    I might get hate for this, but topics like having papers and being deported is not a matter of race. It is a matter of Nationality. I have yet to hear about any legal citizen to be deported.

      Does tribalism = racism?
      I think a multiracial society will fail. A little diversity if fine and probably a good thing. Too much diversity leads to division and conflict. The different races are just that. . . different.
