    Some good stuff here. The elephant in the room is that racism is sold as a binary thing whereas actually it sits on a spectrum like skin colour itself. Mindfulness is indeed key.

      The speaker talks about a cure. The cure actually is that we as so called Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans, Should repent Stop celebrating White man's holidays, Be separate from them. Those people in other countries DO NOT want to kill us rather they want to kill the So called White men because at one time they were part of this madness of hatred against our nation to the the point of the murder of over 377 million people coupled by our own so called Black women killing 16 million so called Black babies for reason other that medical but, for their warped system of birth control. And all of our women fail to realize that without repentance to the Most High two thirds of us will be destroyed right along with the Devils Minions (the so called White man) I choose to repent because I have the power to do so And the so called white man does not though he sought it with tears. Today what you are looking at is the so called White man who actually Has nothing to lose due to the the fact he will no longer be in power once the most High returns and he know that his days are numbered as well as the other nations that did what they did to us. Imagine all of the other nations will get some mercy from god but the so called white man will not.

    Thank you all for tuning in, I appreciate you. My thinking is that "curing racism" is going to be process focused. I don't believe we can eradicate it, in the same way we can't ever truly eradicate the common cold or depression. We can develop a level of understanding that allows us to systematically build a resistance that allows us to better live with the reality of racism, progress toward better managing our inherent prejudices and thus foster a kind of "cure." Thank you all again, you are all dope.

    You may be on to something here, but my question is how do we implement this solution on a mass level? This solution warrants an individual approach, which requires the racist to seek out help or be referred for psychological help. Problem is, most racists don't admit they're racists, not even to themselves. Would love if you develop this strategy further, say, in book form

    Racism doesn't even exist in the first place. It's not a thing. It's rather a conceptual way to look at a whole range of human behavior and interaction. There have always been inequalities in power and levels of civilization. When Europeans first encountered Native Americans and Africans south of the Sahara there was an imbalance in historical awareness, gunpowder, material greed and cynical criminality. Europeans exploited these imbalances in exchange for power, some call it racism, they've called it smart. You can't cure someone who is intentionally exploiting and victimizing you. Pleas like this make them sit back and chuckle, knowing they are still in the driver's seat...or rather the remote driver's seat. Their sicknesses isn't racism, it's something far deeper than you can fathom.

      I just want to clarify that racism does very much exist, even though I am 1 year late. I hope that you have taken that time and realised this simple fact. "Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized." This very much does exist.
      Racism isn't being rude to somebody, it's being rude to somebody because of their RACE or ETHNICITY. Racism isn't killing somebody, it's killing somebody because on their RACE or ETHNICITY. I do not understand how you believe discrimination against people based on race and ethnicity are not real, even though it's all around us constantly.

    • @alsdyall
      @alsdyall 4 года назад

      @@BlatantlySwedishPGN Let me clarify what I was trying to say. My point is that there is not a reified "thing" called racism. I wouldn't dispute that there are people who discriminate based on the belief that the race they belong to are superior. But 9 times out of 10 there are other motivations involved beyond this simple isolated belief. Currently, there is something called 'Systemic Racism' which is even more abstract, vague and ambiguous. This is intentional. It's whole purpose is to assert the whole Critical Theory doctrine as a tool to further a political agenda. Very little of this really helps in a clear understanding of the world and what motivates people.

    Jesus Christ died on a cross to save people from their sin, according to the bible. We broke God's law but Jesus paid our fine. Then Jesus rose from the dead, 3 days later, thus defeating death. Anyone who believes this will not perish but will have eternal life(John 3:16).

    Nice, I really like what he said over all. Dr. Well's set up for his talk was sweet. Unfortunately as usual Dr. well's was focusing on white people. We all need to check ourselves, from my personal experience. When I point my finger in someone's direction I remember that I have three fingers pointing at myself. Also I would like to make clear something. 1 generalization 2 prejudice 3 discrimination. Racism is not a extreme form of prejudice. Prejudice is prejudgement. Discrimination has many parts and takes many form's, racism is one of the many parts and form's. Discrimination is when we as people act against and or say something against someone or a group of people. When Dr. Well's tales us, these opinions are not founded in any experience and they are not founded in any substantial contact. There is no way for Dr. Well's to know the truth of these statements. When Dr. Well's talked about mindfulness. I agree we all need to stay aware of our feels and also our thoughts and were our body is at. Some of the tools I use to help see less subjective. In critical thinking is anchoring, begging the question, circular reasoning, cherry picking, appeal to emotion, confirmation bias, cognitive dissonance, illusion of explanatory depth. It is very hard work. And there are many excuses and reasons to why we won't do the work to see clearer.
