According to my wife I have been happily married for 25 years and if she tells me to I'll be happily married for 25 more. That's how you have a successful marriage. I also have two grown kids that I'm told that I love dearly.
13:45 - Huh! That's a new one! He's had a "no contact" order in regards to his girlfriend for about a year now (I think???), and yet somehow, the two of them are expecting another child??? That's a hell of a trick right there!
Judge McNally is actually SOOO nice. I’ve been before him unfortunately twice and he was so funny and nice but he DOES MATCH ENERGY. When ppl are rude it’s over, but he was so kind to me. I had a warrant for an unpaid ticket and I had no idea so I came in and apologized and he was so nice and just let me pay it off and didn’t send me to jail. It helped I had no record too tho lol
Did he bring that little girl to court, as well as the victim, in the hopes of the judge being lenient? That child has no place being there. None whatsoever. As for the woman, she needs to wake up for the sake of that child. That little girl didn't ask for this, and it frustrates the hell out of me when women put their own wants ahead of their children. I def want to see what happens with this one.
@@gwynluv5447 I need to go. I'm pretty lucky to live near alot of the favorites in MI. Especially the 36 district court faves! I'm looking for a court buddy to go with and share in the excitement with me! 😂
Choosing to stay in an abusive or toxic relationship with children should be considered child abuse. The children don't have a choice, this woman who wants contact with a man who smashes her door or window open and texts her a gun and says I will kill you, means she needs help or to lose those kids. Real mothers choose their kids over a toxic relationship
That young mom needs counseling....now. The Judge can see what's going on and where it's going. She's basically a single mom, trying to get by. I'm sure she feels she 'needs' him. But, she doesn't. I hope she's okay.
meh... he does not just manifest in her bed like a genie... she invites him. If she didn't want this scumbag in her bed, she has a court order "protecting" her, she is literally in court asking for him and sleeps with him bc she is self-indulgent and could care less about the safety of her children.
I really appreciate the patience that this Judge showed. He expressed his frustration but rather than give in to it, he said that he needed to think about it and postponed his decision till he could calm down and make a rational decision. That's everything we need Judges to be... Calm, disciplined and rational. We're I ever be in trouble, this is the type of justice I would want.

Judge McNally is awesome! I wish he could deal with the domestic abuser in an old-school manner-in the back of the courthouse. Men who abuse women deserve to be locked up like animals. We need to be tougher on crimes like this.

He is not there for the DV charge, it is for the no contact order so the details of the DV shouldnt come up. Typically if details are going to come up they will have the child removed.
I like the judge who hollered at the guy moving around. I want to see the entire video of her dealing with the group she had. I feel bad for the little girl in the case before Judge McNally she has to see her daddy in handcuffs in a court. She is young but that is a heck of a situation for any child.

I wish all the courts used the court communication system for parents set up to have all conversations are done solely on this site. It has made these situations become civilized and the one's that violate the rules are caught directly by the court and other agencies involved. It takes away the lies and catches the liars cold.
Question - How is it possible that the defense attorney "wasn't aware there was a police report"? Isn't that stuff shared in discovery, or, at least, before you get in front of the judge?
kinda depends? This is a parole violation hearing, those are generally an in and out sorta deal or well in and back in deal. I have a strong feeling his lawyer is court appointed and since he seems a bit of a fool he prolly misrepresented the severity of the breach in consultation with the court appt'd attorney ( who usually have a backbreaking number of files and was like 'oh softball, just a phonecall and for your kid being in hospital, yeah we should totally be able to work this' ) then the floor opened up to remind them 'oh yeah liars lie' - like you only get what you ask for, don't ask, don't get.
Someone told me once that when imparting information to someone, you talk on a third-grade level. With these folks, I would talk at a kindergarten level.
Ok, this judge explaining the rights is amazing, and I love that he even explained a bit more in detail on the difference between just posting bail and getting a bondsman.
This last Judge, wish I knew his name because I’m in awe of his down to Earth, common sense. Not only is he calm yet clear and firm and more than fair but he even takes this case home with him to ponder on. He even calls out baby mama for placing her child into an insecure, abusive, traumatic environment while holding the defendant accountable and taking the time to look back into the case and police records. He impressed me, he really cares and he brings up a point I think most like myself forget how hard it is to be a Judge deciding on ppls lives whether they’re given a break or held by the firm hand of the law and the positive and negative consequences that can arise based on his judgement! That’s pretty powerful 26:19
I have to say the last judge...judge McNally I think that was his name...I cant tell because the writing is very small but it touched my heart and I didnt even hear his verdict yet but coming from a abusive relationship with someone in the military and me at the time having 0 law enforcement education it was very hard to get away ( even tho at times I did not want to get away, call it insecurity) but this judge touched me. very emotional i love it.
I could be wrong, but it sounds like that first judge - the one you've characterized as slow and patient, Mike, is most-probably deaf. If so, what an achievement to have been selected to be a judge. P.S. It just occurred to me that some folks might not understand how a deaf man could become a lawyer let alone a judge. The answer is cochlear implants. My step-brother adopted a deaf child who, a few years back, got cochlear implants. Being able to hear has changed his life.
@@mydogsioux - I agree, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that most of the time, if a family is covered by Medicaid, they are usually covered. Of course, lots of folks whose income just barely exceeds the cutoff to allow them Medicaid can't afford regular medical insurance, which would pay for them. I guess no system is perfect. Internet crowd funding might be the way to go for families that fall through that gap in terms of income being too high for Medicaid but too low for decent health insurance. Hell, some people do that for really dumb things, like booty implants, because there are people out there that donate to just about anything. I don't know if it's true, but I heard that even Daryl Brooks used crowd funding to try and raise money. Judge Webster is my absolute favorite. She’s so sweet and doesn’t get wound around the axle when defendants are stupid.

I love McNally! He’s really worried about the girl and the child
i hate thats shes going to put another child into this
the consequences of fornication are very real.
So, sounds like he threatened her until she showed up at court saying she wants to have contact with him.
But she is pregnant already...
If he wants a ' sit-down '... you do THAT with your Lawyer. Judges DO NOT do sit-downs.
Good evening Mike. Hope Chicago is treating you well.
The wife can’t help herself. She’s been brainwashed by her husband or is fearful of him, or both. So very sad.
