    Did he bring that little girl to court, as well as the victim, in the hopes of the judge being lenient? That child has no place being there. None whatsoever. As for the woman, she needs to wake up for the sake of that child. That little girl didn't ask for this, and it frustrates the hell out of me when women put their own wants ahead of their children. I def want to see what happens with this one.

    Choosing to stay in an abusive or toxic relationship with children should be considered child abuse. The children don't have a choice, this woman who wants contact with a man who smashes her door or window open and texts her a gun and says I will kill you, means she needs help or to lose those kids. Real mothers choose their kids over a toxic relationship

He expressed his frustration but rather than give in to it, he said that he needed to think about it and postponed his decision till he could calm down and make a rational decision. That's everything we need Judges to be... Calm, disciplined and rational. We're I ever be in trouble, this is the type of justice I would want.

    • @axolotllan
      @axolotllan Год назад

      kinda depends? This is a parole violation hearing, those are generally an in and out sorta deal or well in and back in deal. I have a strong feeling his lawyer is court appointed and since he seems a bit of a fool he prolly misrepresented the severity of the breach in consultation with the court appt'd attorney ( who usually have a backbreaking number of files and was like 'oh softball, just a phonecall and for your kid being in hospital, yeah we should totally be able to work this' ) then the floor opened up to remind them 'oh yeah liars lie' - like you only get what you ask for, don't ask, don't get.

Not only is he calm yet clear and firm and more than fair but he even takes this case home with him to ponder on. He even calls out baby mama for placing her child into an insecure, abusive, traumatic environment while holding the defendant accountable and taking the time to look back into the case and police records. He impressed me, he really cares and he brings up a point I think most like myself forget how hard it is to be a Judge deciding on ppls lives whether they’re given a break or held by the firm hand of the law and the positive and negative consequences that can arise based on his judgement! I could be wrong, but it sounds like that first judge - the one you've characterized as slow and patient, Mike, is most-probably deaf. If so, what an achievement to have been selected to be a judge.
    P.S. It just occurred to me that some folks might not understand how a deaf man could become a lawyer let alone a judge. The answer is cochlear implants. My step-brother adopted a deaf child who, a few years back, got cochlear implants. Being able to hear has changed his life.

    • @mydogsioux

      It's so sad that not every deaf child can afford them.

    • @mikeohandley1922
      @mikeohandley1922 Год назад

      @@mydogsioux - I agree, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that most of the time, if a family is covered by Medicaid, they are usually covered. Of course, lots of folks whose income just barely exceeds the cutoff to allow them Medicaid can't afford regular medical insurance, which would pay for them. I guess no system is perfect.
      Internet crowd funding might be the way to go for families that fall through that gap in terms of income being too high for Medicaid but too low for decent health insurance. Hell, some people do that for really dumb things, like booty implants, because there are people out there that donate to just about anything.
      I don't know if it's true, but I heard that even Daryl Brooks used crowd funding to try and raise money. If people will donate money to a low-down murdering skunk like Brooks, who deserves to be placed against a wall and shot for what he's done, I'm sure there are plenty willing to donate a little to help a kid who needs implants.

    Just realized something - when I'm watching what I missed during the live stream - Dad Judge says that if people want to make their own rules to live by they should move to N. Korea. Isn't that where all these frauditors and Chillie say that the US is? Complaining that because there's rules and laws that you have to follow here in the US, that we must be Korea? Could be wrong about that but it just kind of sounds familiar
