A long time ago here in San Diego the K9 officer was with a high speed chase and it ended on the Coronado bridge and they deployed the K9 and the suspect and the K9 fell off the bridge and he got hit with a murder of a police officer charge cuz he survived but the police K9 didn't 😿 I remember it was so sad. I remember that the K9 officer's name (the dog) was Stryker. He was a good police dog and it really hurt the city. I never will forget that case. Rest in Paradise Stryker 🙏🏿❤️🐕🐶 🚓

I watched this video chase. Slooter was crazy. Avoided 2 pits, went across and into oncoming traffic and finally onto a snowy slick road. Slooter exited the vehicle and the pupper got his bone. Dogs will not release until subject is handcuffed and the dog is given the command to let go. Sorry counsel. You have no chance to win this one. Great capture and video.

He gets a pass on that and the trooper was being clever with that.

During the K9 officer's testimony, they were saying "Mr. Sluiter" and talking about the dog so much al together. It got to a point where my brain started thinking Mr. Sluiter was the dog.

Andrew Scott sluiter is his name. I think sentenced 30 and 120 months to run concurrent. He was The mountain man in the k-9 situation. He just filed an appeal last month or two stating the trial court abused its discretion when it was held he was precluded from using duress as a defense. His appeal Was denied lol

I do not know if he was in trouble as a juvenile. Interesting to see how a defense attorney tries his best when dealt a bad hand.

They may be saving the dash & body cam for the actual offense trial - this is just the bond revocation hearing. Maybe they want to save the sledgehammers for the big fight.
It may be a standard-of-proof thing. IANAL, so I don't know for sure ... but I think bond revocation doesn't require 'beyond reasonable doubt' but either 'preponderance of evidence' or 'clear and convincing'. Then the more extensive evidence required to meet 'beyond a reasonable doubt' wouldn't be necessary.

Well life had other plans for me and I’m not complaining but thanks to these videos I’m definitely thinking it’s not too late to give it the old college try. Do it up! Going back to school for something when you're not fresh out of highschool is really rewarding, although a little daunting at first. But in my experience, being a little more mature and having some life experience ended up being more of a blessing than anything. Best of luck!

The "dog" is an officer. A fellow officer assisted in the apprehension of the suspect.

During the K9 officer's testimony, they were saying "Mr. Sluiter" and talking about the dog so much al together. It got to a point where my brain started thinking Mr. Sluiter was the dog.

I simply, 'specially in the UK where I am, can't understand why people don't comply when police want them to stop, it's my experience that doing so keeps you alive and intact, 'specially with a Land Shark (dog) deployed. Andrew Scott sluiter is his name. I think sentenced 30 and 120 months to run concurrent. He was The mountain man in the k-9 situation. He just filed an appeal last month or two stating the trial court abused its discretion when it was held he was precluded from using duress as a defense. His appeal

Andrew Sluiter has a GiveSendGo page online, trying to raise 20k to pay an attorney because, “a corrupt police agency wrongfully accused him.” The site further states that, “Andrew Sluiter is a good Christian, and needs to be out of jail so he can raise his three children.” I noted on a different website that Andrew Sluiter has a rap sheet first starting when he was 17 years old. I do not know if he was in trouble as a juvenile. Interesting to see how a defense attorney tries his best when dealt a bad hand.

It may be a standard-of-proof thing. IANAL, so I don't know for sure ... but I think bond revocation doesn't require 'beyond reasonable doubt' but either 'preponderance of evidence' or 'clear and convincing'. Then the more extensive evidence required to meet 'beyond a reasonable doubt' wouldn't be necessary.

I’ve always been a court buff and had aspirations of being an attorney when I was growing up. Well life had other plans for me and I’m not complaining but thanks to these videos I’m definitely thinking it’s not too late to give it the old college try. I’m still relatively young so this might just work 🤘🏻….I’ve just gotta get through the bar 😬
Do it up! Going back to school for something when you're not fresh out of highschool is really rewarding, although a little daunting at first. But in my experience, being a little more mature and having some life experience ended up being more of a blessing than anything. Best of luck!
