I replayed more than once to make sure I heard this correctly. It was not that she told the defendant "what he wanted to hear", as she and her lawyer kept trying to turn it around. The plaintiff stated for the "police report" that he was not violent with her.

Anytime someone still speaks English this poorly you can know they aren't fluent "enough" to interpret legal terminology without the possibility of misunderstanding. Not siding with this guy per se, but disagree with all this about him being an English teacher, so he's faking needing an interpreter. It happens so often! I got a case where I arrived and the person said I don't need an interpreter, and the first sentence the judge said the person looked at me and asked what?

David 'I need an interpreter' Salamanca , Mr Plea the 5th ,answered the question BEFORE the interpreter even translated. So he's an illegal and a POS.. he needs to be in jail
