I actually think that you adding the white in the ending was the perfect choice. It just did something to the overall look that I think would have been missing. Wonderful job. Don't think I can do as good a job, but I surely will try!

This was 2- 4" cake dummys glued together, so if you used real cake it would be 4-6 cakes with a support board in the middle. So short answer would be yes:) Probably should have just gone with that!

Hi! I think this one was 6 layers? THat was a littlle while ago. It also depends on how tall your layers are. It was about 10 inches total.
