Amazing 🤩
Please won’t the fondant be hard when u put it in the freezer overnight?Amazing work too😍
It is firm but not hard, amazingly;)
This is awesomely beautiful. Can I use parchment paper in place of acetate sheets ma?
I have not tried, but I would be afraid it may rip because of the weight. If you try and it does work, let me know!
A very stunning cake.
What kind of air brush do you use? Thanks.
Just lovely. What do you fill in the background with?
That is white chocolate mirror glaze. Link is in the video description;)
This is sooooo beautiful 😍 can you please share what airbrush you use? And if you recommend it? Please and Thank you 🙏
Really any airbrush will work. I haven't found one that I like better then the others.
Lindoooo, a base onde faz a pintura é pasta de açúcar, certo?
Looooooove!!!!😍😍😍
Wow! I’m amazed by the beauty of your art work! I love acrylic pours and resin and I love eating anything sweet! Your cakes are ART! Where is your bakery? I wish you can make my wedding cake ❤❤❤
Thank you;) I actually closed personal business about 2 years ago so as not to miss out on the time I have left with my kids at home. I do work 3 to 5 days a week at a bakery in Illinois. We are on the Mississippi River. I have a wonderful boss who encourages me to still have my own thing by doing these tutorials. She might be my biggest supporter!
@@sophisticakesbymary, You are amazing at this art! Keep it going! I just found your Chanel today and watch at least 10 videos. I’m not a baker but you make it seams so easy (I know is not) and so beautiful that I want to try to bake a cake and decorate it like you! You gain another big fan here and I’m going to continue watching, even though I will not be able to order a cake from Illinois ❤️
I truly appreciate you!
Preciosa 💖
Amazing cake Mary! I do have a question. What do you do when you have to deliver a cake like this to a Wedding Venue say like an hour away to prevent it from being totally sticky?? Help!!
I like to deliver in insulated boxes with dry ice. The dry ice tends to not cause as much condensation.
So beautiful and thanks alot ....sory how we can do acrylic art on food picturs
Omg this is beautiful!!!! 😍 😍 😍 What can you use if you don't have an air brush?
Honestly I am not sure! When you do this on a canvas you would use a heat gun, hair dryer or blow with your mouth and maybe a straw. For something that is consumable I would stick with a heat gun or blow dryer with a.nozzle attachment. The dryer can blow it in a more random way since it is a smaller surface area so a heat gun might be the best alternative.
@@sophisticakesbymary thank you so much. I've got a blow torch but not a heat gun so I'll figure it out
Tres jolie waaaaw, commen faire pour l glassage reste comm ça
You are amazing
I didn’t hear you mention what temperature to bake glucose. Really want to try this
Hi ! Can i use parchemin paper ?
Good afternoon. What is the ideal room temperature to display the cake? or should remain in the fridge until cut. thank you.
I am testing that right now!;) I have had another one with the same technique on my counter for 3 hours now and it is fine. It is about 70 degrees and not humid where I am. I would probably suggest leaving it in the fridge till Maybe 1 to 2 hours before serving. In humid conditions, I tend to leave all cakes in the fridge for no more then 1 hour prior. Humidity makes everything more unpredictable;(
@@sophisticakesbymary thanks. In My place the weather is hot and humedity..over 90 degres F.
Can i use light corn syrup instead of glucose? To make the sails
I believe you can, I just haven't tried.
Mary, have you tried using this technique using edible fabric sheets, instead of rolled out fondant?
I have. A while ago I tried to make my one, but they were heavy and made with Gelatin. That made it hard to work with attaching to fondant. .atbe that has changed by now?
At what point did you remove the acetate that was on the bottom of the fondant when you 1st cut it?
I flipped it over after I removed it from the freezer and put the second peice on the top. Right before you put it on the cake.
Sometimes my footage is accidentally out of frame when I am really into what I am doing🤪
Is glucose the same as using corn syrup?
Hello ma'am. If the buttercream is cold, the fondant will moist right?? Hope you answer me🙏
If you let it set in the fridge after you attach it, that helps with this. I leave my cakes in the fridge until about an hours before serving or presenting. I testes one of these cakes and it sat on the counter at room temp for 4 hours and was fine. Straight from the fridge. Of course humidity levels do make a difference, so make sure it is in an air-condition space.
😍👏❤️
Plz tell me how these sugar toppers can be saved and at what temp
This is Pam--can you use something other than glucose for Bubble Sugar cake toppers?
Honest answer...I don't know! I would have to do some research on that.
@@sophisticakesbymary Thank you for responding so fast.
How well or how long can a glazed cake like this sit out at room temp?
I left one out for 4 hours and ut was fine;)
O q vc usou glucose ou isomalt?
Is liquid glucose the same corn syrup?
Very similar;) corn syrup has a little more water and is a little sweeter.
What temperature do you bake the glucose?
300° F
can you do this with only corn syrup?
You probably could but I haven't tried. ;)
A masterpiece, wow, I follow all your videos, but please, if you write what you say so that I can translate what you say 🥺❤
Hi how much is 300 f in degrees?
