@@natnomad thanks for telling me what camera you are using from another video. I will be getting the dji osmo pocket 3 for my small engine repair channel.
Thank you the update Nat. So sad to see so much damage along the river. Across the river looks so peaceful. We will try to make it there for a hike. I see a sign for Pottery Village. Is that walking distance from the boat landing? Congratulations on 4K subscribers. You are doing great and I can say that I knew you would get thousands more from the first video I saw from you. You are genuine and kind hearted.
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour 😊. This is the trail I mentioned. It's nice and peaceful, perfect for a morning walk. From the pier to the pottery village is 3km. It's called"Ban Chanthai" I've been there a long time ago and I recommend it. Thank you for still following me until now. I remember you're one of my first subscribers from when I first started this journey. I am grateful and appreciate your support 🙏😊
Thank you for the video, Nat. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people in Laos and in the countries that are affected by the foods. Love them all ❤
Thank you for sending us your thoughts and prayers. The level of water is much lower today in Luang Prabang, not much damage compared to Luang Namtha and Vientiane. Time for cleaning up🙂😊
Wow great view!!!! Love how you take us through this journey!!! Praying that the rain stops soon 👍🏼🙏🙏🙏🙏And congratulations on hitting 4,000 subscribers!!!!🎉😊🎉
It's sad to see parts of such a beautiful town flooded.. I just hope people will recover quickly from it and be back on their feet very soon! Always be safe, Nat!
I was watching while praying. People tend to live by rivers, cause rivers can benefit their livelihood. But sometimes rivers become furious and flooded their household. Hopefully rain season there stops soon, floods there recede soon, and local life there backs to normal soon. Fingers crossed!
Thank you for sending us your thoughts. Yes, living closer to the river has benefits and threats. At least the level of water is lower today. And the rain has stopped too. So fingers crossed 🙂
Thank you for sending us your thoughts. Now the situation is getting better in Luang Prabang. Vientiane and places further south are badly affected. Sending prayers to those affected.
I feel so sorry for those restaurant business owners. I hope they can rebuild their kitchens after the water goes down. The walk through the village was such a vibe. I actually love the sound of rainfall and mix that in with lush greenery is a dream come true. The viewpoint at the top of the temple was so beautiful too. It made walking up all those steps worth it. Thank you, Nat, for sharing this with us! ❤😊 PS Congratulations on 4K subscribers! 🎉🎉
4 subs-yaaay!!!🙂 Thank you so much for being part of this wonderful journey. I really appreciate it. The scene is indeed beautiful with the rain. And very quiet too. One of the nicest walking trails nearby. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Have a wonderful weekend 😊🙏
I am a litte confuses, - you pictured two munks, right? but as far as I know it is still the time when munks have to stay in the temple area not outside..... as I recall it is called " Auk phansaa" when munks can leave temple area?
No actually Kao Pansaa or Buddhist lent, monks can leave their temples, just not stay overnight elsewhere. No matter where they travel to, they have to come back and sleep in their temples.

So glad the rain stopped!
Yes, eventually 😌
last year was very nice 👍 sitting 🪑 and eat good food 🍱 . and watching the boat 🚤 went by. so sad 😞 to see this happening ..
It's sad to see such contrast. At least the water is lower today. So that's a good sign🙂
Merci !

Doi sabaidee, thank you for watching. I hope you enjoy the adventure 😊🙏
It would be interesting if you could show on a map where you are and give a weather report.
Good idea. Next time I'll make sure I include the map. 🙂
👍👍👍
Hope the long boat is safe, does everyone have life jackets
Yes, it is safe enough. Just not overload. Normally lifejacket is provided when you get on a boat but yes one doesn't.

this year it’s bad year for south east Asia . too much rain and flood.
Yes, Vietnam and Myanmar affected the most. Natural disasters is unforgivable
