It makes you wonder why Star Fox just stuck with the Arwing and didn't try to get their hands on a set of more advanced fighters. Even if it meant stealing a Wolfen to reverse engineer it. Then again, the Wolfen was a pain to fly in Assault's multiplayer mode UNLESS you played as Wolf, so maybe the Wolfen's flight performance and handling is a bit awkward for a pilot who's not already familiar with the craft?
It's cool that the final level (or at least, it's usually the last one people play) is a one-on-one showdown with your rival Wolf. Even better, it happens on Fichina, where we first met Star Wolf 20 years ago.
EightThreeEight Wanna make this even cooler? It's snowing, the game is called Star Fox Zero (like another flying game with Zero in the title) and Wolf says "Come on!" anytime you go head on with him. This is like Ace Combat Zero all over again.

The casual way Wolf says "Lightning Tornado!" Makes me think of Dracula's super move in Castlevania Judgement, where he calls out "Demonic Megiddo!" rather casually considering he just launched the magical equivalent to a nuclear bomb at his opponent.
He knew James before. Both characters sometimes fought when Wolf was in Andross’ army. It’s actually implied that he’s helped Andross and Pigma killing him. Considering all of this, he also knows Peppy. But why does he never talk to him directly?
Idk… He should have gotten his own secret battle! Maybe alongside Wolf, as a nod to how he’s the only member of Wolf’s team (other than Wolf himself, of course) to stay by his side during the series.

Good ol' Wolf, he doesn't disappoint. He was being quite mouthy though, given he was the one losing a good deal of HP and acting like he was the one winning. XD
Zindakku I think if Wolf were to come back to Smash, Sakurai would base his moves off of the special moves from the other Star Wolf members. For example, his up smash would of course be lightning tornado, down Smash be plasma shield just like Andrew, maybe his standard B attack throw a bomb just like which would be based off of the Pigma Bomb. Of course his final smash would be the Wolfen Landmaster.
Quick question: how do you get all the game sounds at the same time? Like, characters' speech is supposed to come from the Gamepad. When I played through the game, I could barely hear the music because of the loud sound effects and explosions everywhere, but in your video everything sounds just perfect and balanced, to the point it makes the experience better actually. How can I play with this way?
Not too sure about balancing the music and ingame sound effects. To get the audio from the Gamepad, you can just plug a capture card into the Gamepad. I think.
well, wolf did stated that he fought James, implying that he is older than fox, because i don't think he would just take on the former leader of star fox in such a young age

This version of Wolf struck me as the sort that would have eventually jumped out of his cockpit, and slap Fox right across the chops.
Even in this Generation, where the Arwing has a badass walker mode, the Wolfen still trumps it with it's even more badass walker mode.
Solar Flare if Wolf ever gets back to Smash, that hunter mode should be his Final Smash rather than a Star Wolfized Landmaster.

This fight was a bit of a pain, so I went with the idea of not even trying to use Walker mode in this fight.
