I'm gearing up to do mine right now. Your video was pretty straight forward informative. I'm in Texas, but understand Canadian quite well , lol. Good content buddy.

Thank you very much! I've put around 1000 km (64 miles) on the truck, and it's still working! If you haven't found it already, here's a more detailed video I used for my job. ruclips.net/video/3O0vGfiQ7EI/видео.htmlsi=zjTHdG34SZRvy-cY

It was a good video for watching after viewing more detailed ones. I'm about to rebuild mine with 225k on it. It works fine, but I want to know I can travel coast2coast. Upgrades for towing are on my list of parts. Fortunately, I bought my 07 TBlazer for less than 3k from original owner, that happenedto own the local Chevy dealership... so spending 5k to totally refresh all parts ignored is ok.
I was surprised you did not use some type of band clamp to perfectly mate the pump halves. Now to search for your follow up vid

While it is obvious there was minimal transmission experience, it is a wonder this transmission actually worked.

@@RegenAutomotive There is a need for transmission builders. Just from what you have shown, a transmission shop would hire and train you.
By the way, trying to reuse that original forward sprag would have been a mistake. Going with the hardened Borg Warner sprag was best.

@gearshifterg9756 Thanks again. I appreciate the kind words! Rebuilding a transmission has always been a bucket list DIY of mine. Next, I am going to rebuild an LS engine and play around with a custom engine stand and tuning. So, stay tuned!

man I wish I saw this video earlier. So much conflicting information online. Ended up installing the low reverse piston wrong and as a result couldn't get the parking brake lever in. Had to take it all apart again and reassemble lol. Almost done with the rebuild. will see if it works on the weekend.

If you do 1 in the future use a cheap strap. It will go in the bottom of the output shaft and hook it to the top of the case. Tighten n it will hold it up for you. N then you can use a screw driver to force that snap ring in.

@nickheiland3397 Funny, you mentioned that. I used that method, I just didn't show it in the video. Thanks for watching!

Not bad. My first 1 I didn't do bushings. Do it on just about everyone know. N I didn't see you replace ur white seals on ur input shaft. Probably cause you didn't have the resize tool. No biggy thou. Very clean thou n that's what matters
