Hey Dominic Thanks for including me in the vid. It was great meeting you and Jocelyn. It was Marion and my first time in Bouckville lots of fun and great people.
Thanks Steve! My pleasure! Thanks again for the sign!
Lol, Put a succulent in it! Jocelyn is too funny!
Lol she’s creative
In July I adopted a shih tzu in Brooklyn named Gizmo. He took over for my beloved Casey (Stengel) who died in February at 16 and a half - in my son's arms. Gizzy is the love of my life.
They are the best dogs ever! Hi Gizzy!
They really are great, but we are having issues - he was born during the Pandemic and isn't really used to people. He was turned in when the person went back to work and 4 people adopted him and returned him because he can bite once in a while. I have had 3 shih tzus including one named Yankee Jeter Turn Two. None of them as feisty as this guy. We will get there. For right now he barks at everyone and we are working on it.

Well done on the art piece. My biggest sale on eBay was a watercolor painting that I bought in a local thrift store for $7.99. The watercolor sold for $1,100.
Wow, that is amazing! Auction?
I listed it as a buy it now because I was able to find a few comps on Worthpoint and a few art databases on other pieces done by this artist. I listed it for about 20% more than the highest sold price that I could find and just figured someone would send me a lower offer. The person who purchased it didn’t bother to negotiate the price and just purchased the piece. I will say that it took about 8 months to sell the piece so it was a long tail item. Most of the art that I’ve sold are long tail sales. It is rare that I’ve sold a piece in less than 90 days. So in your case, that’s pretty sweet that you sold it so quickly.
@@ji2660 wow! Nice sale! Good work on the comps research!
Excellent video - the painting was a great find and the picture of USS Maine’s baseball team was very interesting. What a piece of history. Appreciate hearing the story. It was sad knowing that soon after it was taken, those young men would be gone. Liked the boat dish as well. Sweet Daisy and Gizmo - two cuties. Daisy really loves Gizmo!
Thanks so much! Fun to hear what ppl like Daisy says woof 🐶 lol
Damnit, Dom! I get off work late and it should be bedtime... Instead, it's Prime Time! Great finds. Love the vids. Appreciate you and all you do! 👍👏🙏✌️
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
Hey a sign from Schenectady!! Home Sweet Home! Another great episode!
Good ol Schenectady
That Kenner cow really sparked some childhood… my grandparents had one for years that we played with whenever we went to visit them in Black River… can’t believe that one still moo’ed
Lol yeah I was surprised when I picked it up lol 🐄
Hi Dom, Love the piece of art you found. That was a great video. That picture Mike had sold for an awesome price. Daisy & Gizmo are adorable. TFS. ☮💜
Thanks Mary! A great day all around!
That picture was very cool. I love history ! That's why I enjoy vintage things so much. I like to do the research and learn about them.
I agree. It adds another layer of fun!
Omg that was so cute with Daisy❤❤
Glad you liked it!
Yay! More Dominic goodness!🤩 Can't wait! Love to see goodies in the wild still to be had!
Thanks Lissa!!!!
LOVE the OLD PICTURE the Gentleman was going to Auction Off !!😊
That was amazing. He sold it for $3850
Love that you are venturing into art and sharing it with us. I also love finding art and it can be a challenge to determine who the artist is, when the piece was made and value when the signature is hard to read. Loved the MCM piece you found😊
Thanks! Yep, the think with art prices that I am learning is that the more familiar you get with it the more cues you can have about the origins which can then lead to further insights about value.
You can put a yoke on Daisy and she would plow your front yard going towards Gizmo! 🤣🤣 You are going gangbusters on the Art pieces!!! 💯🙌🎉
That’s a good idea! Free lawn care! 🤣🤣 I knew you loved my art after all 🤣🤣
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter did you tell Mrs PT my yoke idea? She’d probably kill me 😺
@@esmelovesvintage Yeah, she laughed lol
I found that painting of mom and baby engaging as well. I think its the way the mother is staring at the viewer as if she knows you are watching her…😳
Yes it’s definitely captivating 😮
I believe the style of boat the couple is on are called 'sampans'. Small personal watercraft for nearer to shore. 🙂
Thanks!
Oriental pieces were big in the 50s..definitely MCM...I had an aunt that had lots of pieces similar to that in her home.
Yeah it may be as old as the 50s. Thanks
That USS Maine photo is a historic treasure. Great video and thank you for all the links to the sellers you featured in your video!
Thanks Nannette! Figured you would love that!
Moooo!! Whole LOT of holsteins going on there! Too many puns. Loved the mooing cow. "Complete with udder." Cracked me up. Former Wisconsin farm girl here, we had Guernseys.
Glad you enjoyed it! Moooo 🐄
Great day to go bargain hunting Dom. That photo of the team was a legit piece of history, I’m sure some day it will be up in the 10s of thousands of dollars in value. The Santa face, well, he looked kind of stern and stoic to me, like he was checking over his naughty list and then he came home with you. 😂 Thanks for sharing
lol Gary, I thought he looked more on the jolly side. Are you on the naughty list Gary? Maybe he only looks at people on the naughty list that way lol
Good eye with the Paul K. Freeman original artwork! It is a spectacular piece of art! It is difficult to go wrong with original MCM art right now. I hope to run into you some time while thrifting/shopping in CNY!
Thanks, Laura! I’m very happy with how that one turned out. If you see me around, be sure to say, hello!
I have been to many of these boukville sales ! Even have good friends who participate in these sales. I just have to be honest though..... their prices are ridiculously high! People need to understand this is not a flea market/ garage sale kind of deal.... it’s antique dealers and their sales! And they ask for prices that well exceed the actual value most times! I live in Rome NY. So yeah.... I speak from experience!
Totally depends what vendor you go to. I speak from experience as well as I have shown great deals I have gotten here in prior years
Great video, and thank you for sharing the USS Maine piece with us!
My pleasure! Thanks!
Great video !! I love that you know the Crazy Lamp Lady! I love her videos too!!
Yes! She’s a great friend of the channel. We have done several videos together 😃
The PIONEER SIGNis so cool I live in jonesborough Tennessee the oldest town in Tennessee..my high school was David Crockett HS the pioneers..and a store near by is the pioneer market....❤
Glad you liked it!
That cow segment was so fun! Loved the segment about the USS Maine and their team - fascinating but sad.
I loved the painting !! great sale !
Thanks!
Took me a few minutes to figure out that this was sort of part 2 of the other sale. I guess the 'chair' was Marilyn but I thought it was Madonna. I really like the picture of Mother and Child. Very different. And interesting history to the picture Mike had. He has the nicest eyes! I love this sale every year! You just can't keep those two little dogs apart! ❤
I think it is Madonna with that leather jacket. Part 3 coming next then back to estate sale vids! 👍
Absolutely, Madonna. Unmistakable. The two don't look alike, except that they were both the #1 platinum blonde sex kittens of their generations.
Holy cow 🐄🐄🐄the goth painting was creepy I think she stole that baby 😳Daisy loves Gizmo ❤❤
LOl. She may have stolen that baby. Good point!
😂😂😂
Congrats! I should have watched the video further to find out the great news. It really panned out for you on your 'gut feelings' about it. Keep up the good work. 🙂👍
Thank you!
I would keep that santa 🎅 door hanger.
He's so cool!
Sold it for $80. Thanks!
U.S. picture story was kool. Thanks for sharing love your site.
Awesome video Dom! 😁 love seeing ya in your element!
Thanks Eric! Lots of fun at this show!
🤣👍More Cow Bell Dominic!🤣👍Big hello from the Pacific Northwest!😊👍🐿
Moooo!
Really neat segment on the USS Main photograph!
Thanks! Fascinating stuff!
Great video as usual! Omg you are too funny! That chair! 😂 I love it! That art was very cool !
LOL, thanks! The lovely ladies are always following me around...even in chair form now lol
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter hahaha 🤣
Wow that is so amazing I can see we're you got drawn to it
Yeah, a true historical treasure!
The guy with the USS Maine picture sounds very much like Johnny Carson!
lol true
The painting is so interesting
That piece of ephemera was amazing! The 'rock' certainly has the coloration of bismuth but not the classic structure you like to see with it. Hard to tell from the clips but its pretty =]
My favorite was the Navy Baseball Team🤗💖🦋
Yeah that was amazing
New subscriber! I love your Marilyn voice.😂😂
Welcome to the Prime Time Family Cindy! You are going to hear that voice in a lot of videos as the lovely ladies are always following me around lol
The canvas on that painting was interesting along with the frame. You can tell a lot about a painting from the frame and Canvas and also the materials used to stretch the frame, The nails also can tell you some history but as with anything old, buyer beware.
Expensive, some of these sales!
I used to have a cow themed kitchen. I bet I had a yard sale once that looked like that, lol.
Cool painting
Yo Dom! The picture reminded my of “Rod Serling’s Night Gallery” There is definitely a horror story behind it. I believe the rock might be pyrite or “fools gold”. Very cool. 🤘😎👍
Thanks Chris. Yeah very Twilight Zoney. The rock looks like amethyst inside but the sparkles look pyritey lol
You crack me up
MOOOVE on how funny😂
🤣🤣🤣 🐄
Bad juju! Good you you! You said it brother 😂
lol
Hi Mr Primetime! I’ve been watching your videos here lately but I have to say something.😬😬 In all your videos I find that when you’re holding something describing it you are moving the item in and out from your body makes me motion sick. If you could just hold the item still vs quickly moving in that would really be helpful. Thanks and best wishes for your fantastic finds out in the wild!
Thanks. I’m sorry about that. I’ll try to be more aware, but there are times where I have to turn items to show different aspects of it. I appreciate you watching.
I like the art
They made tv lamps in 1950s in same style as your oriental boat.
Good to know. It may be as old as the 50s
They left the goat behind.
I had that cow toy when I was little!
Great memories
I think I did too!
Cute puppy
Curious what you paid to ship the painting? There is a ton of artwork to be discovered at yard sales and estate sales, but shipping can really cut into margins.
That’s why you have to be able to master shipping and is exactly why I list my shipping on items like this as economy 1-10 days so you have all options available once it sells. Turns out that this only cost $13.52 to ship via FedEx Home Delivery.
J
Great video ! Hey I have a question can you sell scanned copies of comic books on eBay? Can’t find anything similar
Thanks Gail. Nope, because that would violate copyright
Nice
Visit Arizona garage sales sometime. You will find the Mexican figures all the time. 😊
Lol I’m sure 🤣
subscribed!
Welcome!
I would be in heaven with all the cows 😮
It was udderly amazing lol
Nice, kinda obscure, Mid-Century painting. It has a 'haunting' quality to it. You should be able to triple your investment (as a gut feeling). With more research, it could be worth more. 🙂
I had a feeling you could get at least $160.00 for that painting! It draws you in…
You were right!
Hi Dom. UPC codes started in the 70’s I think 😮
1974.
It is 100 years in the future. You are standing in that exact spot. What picture is in the drawer that you would find that would be worth thousands?
Let me hop in my Time Machine and let you know 😃
Peaked my interest when you went through my hometown
Oh nice!
Does anyone know what that picture sold for??
I showed the sold price in the video
Schwarzenegger looks more like Tom Brady!
#1 ,john bloomer survived
Pyrite
hoho I miss my holly berry
The rock is druzy crystals
Thanks. Is the gold color natural to it?
Says this didnt happen in 1898. Shows us a picture from 1898 where it happened...😁
Goats can't swim. We used to have one and someone threw him in the pond. He was only out about 3 ft. and he was gurgling. Someone fished him out and he was fine! Who knew????????????!?!?!!?????
The thins you learn in reselling. lol Thanks
All I can say is WOW 😮
Too sad...makes me want to cry ( vintage mother ) to me see looks so stressed out like she has post partum depression
Yes, I noted that in the listing. I think that is the allure of it to some ppl
18:08 I would pay the 20
Eh, a little too much of a stretch for me. Sign was a little too bear up. Plus, no buyer would pay more than $50. Factor in shipping. Not worth it to me.
Quit shaking and turning the items please! It’s hard to watch.
Not for most people it isnt.
The way you shake the items the whole time you are showing them in the camera is really painful for my eyes.
Sorry to hear that. I’m not sure what items you are referring to though
Good content would have watched all the video but your movement of items made me dizzy ..
Sorry that you got dizzy!
You talk toooooo much
Please grow up. It’s an educational channel
