This footage was filmed some time ago and released now for reasons I will apologize and explain for towards the end of the video! Today I am shopping at my favorite Goodwill on Rainbow and Cheyenne. Both the store and the shelves were quite full, and although I didn't find as much as usual, I was excited to find treasure in almost every aisle! I have my Thrifting Vegas Blanket and my reuseable shopping bags ready, so Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. I am so sorry. You have helped me so much. Not only in what to look for, but more importantly when I lost my father in November. Your kindness and sweet voice have helped me more than you know. I know you feel like life will never be the same. It will be different, but after going through this, rest assured your mom will always be very near to you. The sting of the loss does dull. Be patient with your grieving process, everyone is different. Your mom will forever be by your side and I’m sure will find ways to send you little signs. Just look around and I’m sure you will see them. I am praying you find comfort during this difficult time. ❤

There is never a reason you have to apologize when you are going through a life changing situation. I loved when your mother when she joined your videos. It's like losing a friend for us who care for you and your family. I have lost both my parents and 3 brothers at my age and I know how that affects my life. As a nurse, I need to help others grieve. As a viewer, I never expected an apology from anyone I follow for life altering events. I lost 2 of my brothers in Oct 2023 just days from each other. I grew up with my other brother who I lost to cancer in 2011. I miss him everyday because he was a part of the family I grew up with. I found my birth family in 1991 which in itself was a life altering event. To go from 2 siblings to 7 more siblings was a miracle. I've dedicated myself to finding our last 2 youngest ones as I grow even older. I've had a series of medical problems in the last few years and family is important to me. I have through the years collected many things from the Goodwill, and thrift store. I occasionally see things I have on other's video and I'm so happy. Today , I saw the Native American tile on your haul reveal and was really excited. I have a large print of this same scene. I didn't quite hear the name of the artist. The frame on my print is very old. The work you do while important to all your viewers because it makes us happy. It will never replace family events that take our attention away from our families and the people who care will never ask you to forsake your family for a video. May your healing begin and take as much time as you need. There is never any rush or need to rush your grieving. Hug you Dad, your husband and children and grieve together.
Sending my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I lost both my parents 11 days apart. My mom and I were garage sale and goodwill hunters. I miss her every day and especially when I'm out in the wild. I pray you get through your loss, because you'll never get over it. 3.5 years after losing my parents, my son was tragically killed in an accident. He drown when the car he was a passenger in slid off the bridge into a creek. The search party found him on February 14th, Valentines Day. Both had drown, upside down in the car. I'm just now starting to live again. It will be 8 years this February.
