Tiffany is hands down my favorite on you tube! I love thrifting , although I’m not a reseller I’m considering it now because of Tiffany. I heard her say to someone asking a question about how to get a business started. She said try selling things you already have, see how it goes, and if it makes you happy. I’m thought it was such sound advice! Thank you Tiffany for sharing your knowledge and expertise, your always positive point of view, and sharing the joys of finding treasures and keeping them out of the landfill! You, like Mary Poppins, are practically perfect in every way! Your family is blessed . I’m so thrilled I found you a year or so ago.. you never disappoint!!,
Exactly how I started 2 years ago...started selling stuff I didn't want anymore....just start looking up the sold prices...You may be surprised and get hooked.
@@LisaSmith-sc5zs I'm slowly trying to get going on my own stuff and I have 2 family member's estates that I am trying to unbox and discover the random packing my grandma did. I open a box of hers and it looks like a bunch of papers and junk however, when you get in and unpack everything in the box I find something odd stashed, like a vase from the 30's or other collectible stuff 😂 Hopefully in 2 years I will be much better at reselling in general maybe even a little side hustle.
She really is!! I feel so lucky to be a Vegas local and have met her a few times now and she's so sweet! The Good Stuff thrift store is really nice inside. Goodwill looks like huge mess compared to Good Stuff. Everything is very neat, organized, clean, displayed wonderfully around the store and of course the booths that are like little boutiques that give it a very upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. If you are planning a trip to Vegas or will be traveling, I highly recommend at least taking time to leave the chaos of the strip and make the trip to visit the store. If you are supporters/fans of any of the RUclips content creators here in Vegas that you see in many videos then you will enjoy it for sure. Most have booths that you can get lost in and perhaps purchase something you saw in a video, which I find even more fun. I went to the Grand Opening and her children were so polite and helpful. Tiffany we enjoy everything you share with us!
I love the fact that you pick up imperfect pieces! So many won't pick them up, but there are many of us that would buy a piece with a little chip or imperfection. You're right, we all have own chips and cracks from wear and tear over the years.
I adore you for grabbing the owl and the rhino. More resellers could learn from you that there are people out here who also adore pieces with signs of age.
That double handled vase looked like a Spooner to me. I grew up with the spoons always in a Spooner on the table. I'm almost 70yrs old and many people have never heard of Spooners. Thanks for the memories.
Spooners are half the size of the vase, or less. The handles, or bowls, of the spoons would stick up above the top of the spooner. This is so that you could choose a spoon without touching the other spoons. I never could find out which way was the proper way up! Maybe it was up to the person who owned the spooner!
I’m going to slow down my high speed life and do my best to leave you a comment on your videos. I do it now but only occasionally. It’s the least I can do for you in return for the pleasure and entertainment I receive from your uploads. I just adore shopping “beside” you! Good wishes and the best of everything to you. Judy in Texas
Thanks so much for your videos. If I was closer, I would love to go for coffee with you. I just love the hummingbirds and peach tree buds. Also, I have two 🐕 dogs but they don't like the snow.
Beautiful finds! I especially love the ice bucket and tea cup. Have to laugh because I do buy those egg plates! When asked what I do, my fun reply is that I clean the west coast out of egg plates and send them to the east coast. They sell really well to NC. Egg plates are good for sorting jewelry too.
Tiffany Hi Friend 🌹So many amazing finds. Your puppers was so funny in the snow. I am getting a puppy in 2wks. I am so excited. I need to fill the huge hole in my heart. My Grandsons are as excited as I am. Hubby said remember training and losing sleep. I told him I don't sleep anyway. 🩵 I have figured a name yet.
Hi The vase at 22:11 just after the reproduction Italian vase is a Avon Scented room freshener vase. You dust it with a damp cloth and it scents the room. Its vintage. Came in 3 or 4 colors. Not expensive, maybe 14.99 when it was new but the scent seem to last for decades.
I love to see other vintage/ antique & retro trinket collectors, I just love a great Estate Sale. My older sister was a Princess House Consultant as was I for a brief time and I don’t believe the lovely little vase w/ the copper base is PH. They have a very distinctive flower pattern that is etched in pretty much all they design.. be it their lead crystal or hand blown pieces..keep up the awesome finds, and Good Luck! JM
Well I’m in the southern hemisphere, Australia, and heading in to winter now, but the promise of those first buds of spring keep me going though the winter months. Lovely!
Oh my goodness I absolutely LOVE Calico ware! As a child in the seventies, I shopped with my mom at a little Scandinavian store in Petaluma California where she would buy pieces of calico ware. I have the entire collection to myself now. Tiffany, I have watched every single video you've ever made and this is only the second piece of calico where that I've seen on your videos that you have found... The last one being a small creamer that I actually have in my collection as well. I've never seen this dish with the dog on it but it's absolutely beautiful! If it was a cat then I would be losing my mind right now! 💙
All your fur babies and feathered friends are so gorgeous. The peach tree is divine. I would love to see it’s progress of flowering and fruiting through a process of pictures. Everything walking and planted are just so lovely and heartwarming. Thank you for sharing. Love from Australia.
Lóve it that you showed us how you use thrifted items in your house. And I adore the “junk-album”,it’s gorgeous!🙏🏻🥰 We suddenly got a lot of snow today but unfortunately it’s not going to stay to really enjoy it,but it was beautiful to see when it came down and made everything white..I LOVE the snow.💙🌨️❄️☃️ So good to see Bear and Rio playing in the snow..😁And seeing the hummingbirds in your garden, always makes me happy..🙏🏻🥰 So do the beginning spring flowers.🌸
I have learned a lot from watching your channel. I have a resale store in Kansas. I opened recently and I price my items for other thrifters to be able to buy and resell at a profit. I learned from you going to thrift stores. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. Picked out some awesome stuff. Thanks for showing how you decorate. I’ve watched others where you showed us. I think you do a fantastic job. Thanks for showing bear and Reno. It was fun watching them play in the snow. I have. little doggies love to watch them in the snow it’s fun and of course the cat cat move that I love so much. So I will catch you on the next one
I knew ✋🏻 😉 and thank you so much for the shout out on my journals it was my pleasure to have created them for you and your family to explore. You are so kind and so good to me my friend 💕
That musical angel went with a little boy angel and they were a kissing pair. I had this set. Good to see her. I no longer have mine. I adore your pets especially the shepherds. They are so beautiful.
Tiffany, I'm a golden oldie & especially love the unappreciated nostalgic vintage finds ... I wondered if you ever found the beautiful little sequin trees star OR got the overwound angel music box working? Also, I couldn't help but wonder how many long hours of handiwork went into the sequin tree? You're def the cat's meow of finds & I could listen to your beautiful accent all day. 🥰
I am happy to see you saving pieces with a bit of damage. I don't care as long as it doesn't show when displayed. I would put a pot of shamrocks in that twig basket, they tend to grow out of that shape very circular
Thank you, Tiffany, for your delightful videos! I would love you to do one showing the items in your booth and talking about them as you do at GW. I think you would have a lot of sales and it would be fun to see for those of us that are not in Las Vegas.
I agree 100% she has so many wonderful treasures in her booth! I know that on the @thenichelady channel she did a live feed of the Grand Opening and gave a look in every booth. I would love to see @thriftingvegas give a little tour and explain some pieces as well. Even being local I never have the time to ask about so many items lol
Hi Tiffany, thank you for your videos, they are lovely , you were the first reseller I encounter on You Tube about a year or so ago , and I have been hooked. First time I see a peach tree and it’s so lovely would like to see the progress of this tree peaches are magnificent. Here in Miami Florida they don’t grow , I have several fruit trees but all tropical fruits. Love it Thank you very much for everything you do.
I’ve notice that several of your recent videos do not have a subtitle option. Is this something you can look into, so those of us who rely on them can continue to enjoy your content? I love your videos and learning so much about vintage items and their makers.
Loved your video today. Really liked how you displayed the princess house bud vase with copper bottom……of course as always the videos of Bear and Rio are always a highlight at the end of your video!!! I thought they were adorable playing in the snow!! 😊💕
I love going shopping with you!! All the wonderful treasures you find and tell us all about them, I learn so much! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the word Manky?Mankie perfectly describes everything not clean lol. Thank you Tiffany!
Beautiful video Tiffany!! I have a similar pink little glass that I bought for $0.25 because it had a chip on the round top, but I didn’t want it thrown out because it was so pretty, so I put it on my showcase, similar to yours and put a 1950’s Pearl necklace in it and where the chip is, I hung some of the strand over it. Looks really elegant. It’s so true what you say about things having a little chip in it. I hate seeing things thrown out especially when they’re beautifully made. Loved seeing Bear and Rio playing in the snow!! I guess that cyclone that hit the coast gave your mountains more than usual snow. The hummingbirds were so beautiful!! I was talking to my budgie and turn to see a little female hummingbird feeding at our feeder. No wonder they’re called torpedoes, they look like one when they’re flying around!! And of course the cats look so beautiful and cozy together. They sure are adorable!! Thanks for an enjoyable time!! Have a great weekend!!👩🦳🛍️
I was surprised that you held the black light over the Pyrex brand piece. It's been my observation that Pyrex "kitcheny bits" always have a blue-green color to the edge. I like them for that reason!
I found a hull pitcher in the artificial flowers at goodwill. It was holding fake flowers and cost 2.99. I only looked because you said to always check them. Thank you
The red and yellow vase that you described as a floral piece, is actually a Avon piece and it is a scented base. If you pick it up it probably still has some smell. My grandmother and my aunt sold Avon.
Hi Tiffany! Loved thrifting with you today! Your friend did an amazing journal for you! That is my love too! I don’t do videos but I watch everything that I can! I simply love junk journaling! PS ILOVE YOUR EASTER DISPLAY! So sweet! Tyfs
Loved the Russian cup and saucer!! My daughter and her husband were there for a year and she brought me several blue and white and gold items. That was 27 years ago and I still have them displayed!! I love them so much
Thank you for the "shout out" on your necklace, sweet girl! I am thrilled that you love it, and I must say that it does look beautiful on you... ❤ Always such a pleasure to see you pop up on my feed - you are special! Your friend ~ Amy 😍
Tiffany, if I am not mistaken, the musical angel is one of two "kissing angels" that were traditional Christmas decor back in the day. Maybe the 2nd on will turn up in one of your visits. Hope you can get her to work again.
I finally got to go into a goodwill yesterday. I scored a hydro flask water bottle for 2 dollars! I saw it as soon as I turned down the aisle but a guy was looking at them. I was hoping he did not know the marking that proved it was a hydro flask. He I guess did not notice the value of a hydro flask. Yippee for me. It had a teeny tiny dent. But my daughter collects them so a good score. Iwish I lived near more thrift stores. I am 1.5 - 2 hours away from goodwill or Salvation Army.
Congratulations, especially after such a long drive! The hydro flask was a great find, how lovely that your daughter collects them! Thank you very much for sharing. 😃💞
I absolutely knew you'd go back for the owl and rhino!😊 I most often know which items you are going to pick up as soon as I see them. Unfortunately when I'm thrifting alone I don't know what I should pick up. I get overwhelmed.
I am exactly the same!! Everything I seem to look at is nothing special 9/10 times. I love learning about the different markings too, I find it very interesting learning about them.
Love watching Tiffany “let go thrifting “ just wondering when you bring out the black light, could you just pass it over all the glass Thanks for all your experience you pass on to us
Thank you for sharing that you buy and list seasonal items all year long. I totally agree - you never know when a seasonal item might appeal to someone and sell out of season, so it's really not necessary to remove them when a season has passed. Many people prefer to purchase items out of season, and, if you have an online store or shop, it typically doesn't cost much, if anything, to leave them listed indefinitely. Only you can decide when you feel it's time to remove an item that doesn't sell, so pay no attention to those who advise removing items out of season or after a year (or more) has passed. I'd run a sale or reduce a price before I'd either temporarily or permanently remove a listed seasonal item.
Tiffany I forgot to mention I love hummingbirds too here in Vegas and my feeders for them and I love German Shepherds I've had two Bless their Hearts ❤️

About the low basket around 28 minutes. You could place a low bowlof glass with your new flower frog in it . Then arrange twigs or flowers.😊😊

I'm interested in the little white vase that you showed in the intro with pink roses on the bottom half and blue trim along the ruffled edge on top.
Hi Susan, if you could please send me an email to ThriftingVegas.Tiffany@gmail.com I'll check my inventory. Thank you. 😊💞
I absolutely knew you'd go back for the owl and rhino!😊
I most often know which items you are going to pick up as soon as I see them. Unfortunately when I'm thrifting alone I don't know what I should pick up. I get overwhelmed.
I am exactly the same!! Everything I seem to look at is nothing special 9/10 times. I love learning about the different markings too, I find it very interesting learning about them.
Really cool to dogs that have never seen snow. 😉
Don't forget to check the floral vases you don't meant to miss something like Fenton or Haeger
Love your videos they are so soothing and wonderful and informative 😇🥰
Love your videos. You are so knowledgeable
I am so glad Danee, thank you very much! 😊💖
Oh love the coffee cup!!
Love watching Tiffany “let go thrifting “ just wondering when you bring out the black light, could you just pass it over all the glass
Thanks for all your experience you pass on to us
Thank you for sharing that you buy and list seasonal items all year long.
Wow that journal is beautiful!!
Love shopping with you ❤
Tiffany I forgot to mention I love hummingbirds too here in Vegas and my feeders for them and I love German Shepherds I've had two Bless their Hearts ❤️
