Oh my word! My childhood was at that estate sale! I had every single one of those Barbie sets/toys (bathtub, airplane, etc), the doll head, Barbie Beach Bus, the Little People village, etc. The Barbie lounger goes with the Barbie pool. My parents didn't store my toys in a great place and they ended up trashed. Seeing all of those toys brought back so many memories and made me a little teary-eyed. Thank you for sharing!
Bless yo heart sweety!! I feel yr pain bc my Mom had my Baby sister when I was 13 and I had Barbies and all her accessories with the boxes (even as a child something told me to keep the boxes and I opened them up so delicately if even at all) BUT....NEEDLESS TO SAY....along comes my new baby sister and her being the baby and all I had to let her play with my BARBIE STUFF and I'm sure you can guess what happened from there.... Yep she destroyed them all and colored all over the boxes and dolls with markers and cut off all their hair while I was in school. If only I had them all now...just imagine....hmmm Oh well it is what it is!!!😢😮 I ❤ my baby sissy to death tho y'all!!!
I got the Barbie Friendship for Christmas back in 1972! I played with my barbies so much and even stole my brother's GI Joe's so she could have extra passengers on her plane! I was always traveling the world at 8 years old, you know. Busy busy busy! 😂
I’m incredibly impressed with how well you guys stay so composed in high sensory situations! All the people in your bubble, all the treasures to find, comping items, carrying goodies.. all while staying sweet to each other! Love watching you guys!! Thanks for sharing exciting resellers content! ❤
That calendar that you picked up did have the ORIGINAL Little Rascals on it, LOL.. I believe the little rascals goes as far back as the 1930s and they were called the our gang comedies… I cracked up when you said you’ve never seen a Barbie head that old😆I had the Barbie head and the plane as a child growing up in the 70s, LOL
The ticking time bomb is a game. All participants get in a circle. You keep passing it around and around. If the bomb goes off your out. If it blows in mid air you start again until the bomb goes off. I loved this game. It definitely makes your heart beat fast. If you're the last one standing you win.
Personally i like it without all the sold comp informatiion i just enjoy you both finding the bargains because at the end you show the sold items anyway the comps take away from the viewing & interupt it 😊 comps are for both of you to make decisions which i get but it holds up the exciting hunt, in the goodwills the comps are like half the video 😊 just my opinion as you look up heaps of comps other pickers maybe 1 or 2 on camera , maybe i,m just impatient 😊.
I agree. They stop everything to show us. “Did you show them? Here, turn around and let’s tell them what you found.” So the shot singles in and it’s discussed. I agree. Comps at the end are good! A quick one here and there is good but we all know what’s going on so a quick “looks like comps are ____.” Maybe a quick explanation but no major details unless it’s something SUPER great to stop the show over ya know? I’m sure they are trying to be as informative as possible though. And it’s hard to please everyone! Regardless, I’m thankful for the videos! Informative AND entertaining!
The Time Bomb is a game. You sit in a circle with your friends, wind the Time Bomb up and pass it around. The person holding it when it goes off is out of the game. The last person left is the winner😂
BINGO. So much more fun than video games. I had all these toys and they are saying "These are sooo old". All of them came from the Sears and Roebuck Christmas dream book.
I believe we had this too! It's even more exciting when someone would ask questions and you can only pass it to the other person when you've answered correctly. That way you get really scared it will go off😅People would get nervous even when the questions are very simple
I always think how different my own life would be if i had someone that enjoyed the "thrill of the hunt" like I do. Mine will go with me but hes not exhilarated by it like I am! Im glad you two kids found each other!
The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago used to (and may still) have a vending machine where you could make the blow mold dinosaurs. Always a fun souvenir!
That vintage Barbie bathroom set is pretty cool. Rare to find something that old with the box still being in decent condition still. Food looked pretty good at longhorn. Thanks for taking us along :)
The pottery marked BBP, Beaumont Brother's Pottery, not far from Kentucky established in Ohio, by 2 brothers. The pieces at the estate sale were beautiful.
It cracks me up when you say I’ve never seen a Barbie head that old lol. I’m 65 years old. I know how far back stuff goes. I did not have one because when they came out I was a little older.
OMGosh, I absolutely love you both!! I love how Matt is always looking out for you Kayla, worried about you being too cold, and how sweet you react to him. I don't think either one of you realize just how popular you've become!! Pretty soon you are going to have to have a Matt & Kayla show, I bet everyone would be watching. I live for the days you all post. You two were made for one another!!!!
I had both the airplane and the Barbie “head” (1974) thats what I used to call it!! I would be so proud of putting on her makeup and fixing her hair… 😂😂 Oh my goodness that was such a long time ago!!
My goodness, you must have missed so much in the crowd of people, but what fantastic treasures you did manage to find. Thank you for the vlog. Much love to you both K🇬🇧❤️❤️
Kayla and Matt love both of your channels. I looked up the bowl a tron in its box, on the toy table... only found two comps but one was for $199.99 and the other was for $159.99. I wanted to tell you to grab it LOL. You both seem so genuine & I want to thank you for teaching me so much and also making the info fun to watch!
I'm catching up on your amazing videos - at about 3:58 Matt holds up a pottery crock with a house on it. It's from Beaumont Pottery in York, Maine. Beaumont pottery always has a cross on the bottom of every piece they make. The artist's initials and the date, too. My mom painted at Beaumont Pottery back in the 1970's! PAW are her initials.
I think what shocks me the most is that people actually buy all of this stuff on ebay … junk… trinkets… old ornaments and decor etc… unnecessary items… but they do! I am not one of those people so this has been an eye opener! I have learned so much from ya all about reselling old stuff. I am shocked almost every video of the money you can make… and the fun you are having! Anyway, you’re a wonderful couple and enjoy your vids!
I have seen every one of your and Matt's videos. Thank you for being great teachers for my Mom and I who are just getting g started. After caring for my Dad during a long illness my Mom and I needed something new to give us purpose so BB Family Vintage Pickers was born. I love watching your partnership, the respect you have for one another and the joy you have for treasure hunting! My heart melted when Matt had you wait in the car because he did not want you to be cold. That is how my Dad treated my Mom❤ We will continue to cheer you on. Thank you for always brightening our day with your silly voices and dance moves Kayla and for showing the world real men still exist Matt xoxo
Great estate sale guys. Hope we get to see Kayla pulling items when to be shipped. I love seeing her excitement pulling sales. You two had so much here I could tell. ❤❤
At Sinclair Dino-Land at the World's Fair in NYC in 1964, kids could mold a plastic dinosaur of their choosing from a machine like a vending machine. I think it cost $1.00. After the Fair, the big Sinclair dinosaur models (and the molding machine) toured the country, setting up for a few days in shopping center parking lots, etc. in different cities.
I loved this estate sale.. I had so many of those toys as a kid in the 60s and 70s.. The barbie airplane, barbie hair /makeup head.. Kayla, You cracked me up when Matt said " Really cool stuff".. And you said " and really OLD OLD stuff.. 🤣😂🤣 I will be 60 years old in July. 😬 Fun video to watch.. I love to find AMAZING estate sales.. Such a buzz!! 😜😍
I love watching both your videos, you guys are great. We had a large rummage sale this weekend in Oakland it’s put on by the Oakland Museum. It happens every year the first weekend in March and it’s called the White Elephant. Next year Matt should bring you. On Sunday everything is either 1/2 or 75% off. Lots of antiques.
This was one of the most exciting editions of estate sales I’ve ever seen! I don’t see how you even broke off and left! There was probably so much missed there but only so much time I understand ! Love days like this ! So entertaining! ❤
I adore you two guys! BUT, you make me so nervous when you take time to look up comps, I'm yelling at you to keep looking and comp later, Lol, Great job, guys, I always look forward to your videos!
I wish you could hear me when I’m telling you the lounger goes to the beach bus! I have the Friend Ship. I had one when I was a little girl. And about 20 years ago found one again.
Oh no KAYLA! Y’all didn’t get the strawberry cake on the kitchen counter? I have one my mom made JUST like that in ceramics class in the 70’s or 80’s and it was going for around 200.00! I’m sure it was reasonably priced! Go back and get it! I’m to the part where you went to the basement, so gooooo go go back up and get it! ❤😊 from Birmingham Alabama!
I believe the 1986 calendar did have the original Little Rascals cast on it.. Alfalfa, Darla, Spanky, Buckwheat, Dickie & not sure of the name the little girl on the end & Petey the dog!
My dad had a toy store back before Toys R Us came into existance. Once they did they put him out of business. He was only offered ten cents on the dollar for his stuff. He kept everything in the garage. Over the years my brother would steal his stuff and sell it. Not only did he take from my dad but he took from our inheritance. He had way cool stuff too. It's all gone but if we would've known how valuable that stuff would be now, we would've made out. It amazes me what people will pay for the old toys.
What a fun estate sale. Thank you for considering us (your audience) to "shop" with you when you said "I want to see everything but they want to see too". Yes, we were interested too. 🙂❤
The problem for me is that shipping is so expensive either buying or selling. It has gotten so crazy. You two are so cute and I love how excited Kayla gets when she finds something really special. 💕
Matt is such a gentleman. What a considerate person to have Kayla sit in the car because it was cold. Every woman deserves a Matt! ❤
Exactly what I was about to type!!! lol Chivalry is not dead!!!
He is a gentle giant. She was lucky to have found such a great guy
Oh my word! My childhood was at that estate sale! I had every single one of those Barbie sets/toys (bathtub, airplane, etc), the doll head, Barbie Beach Bus, the Little People village, etc. The Barbie lounger goes with the Barbie pool. Me too. I have none of my childhood toys, but I played with almost all of those. Loved the doll head.
Me too! ❤
Same! I had that Barbie bathtub and played with it endlessly! As soon as I saw it; it brought back all those memories 😢

If only I had them all now...just imagine....hmmm
Oh well it is what it is!!!😢😮
I ❤ my baby sissy to death tho y'all!!!
Oh and by the way my Barbies were from 1965 thru abt 1973-74
Ya'll are just so fun! I find my 62 year old self smiling all the way through! Keep up the great work!
My 72 year old self is smiling right with you
Ditto! Me Three 😊❤
Me too!
Ditto me as well ... My 62 yr old 💖 is smiling too!!! Well said!!! They are so much better together...I love their vidz!!!
My 54 year old self is smiling all the way thru, too!! ❤
I got the Barbie Friendship for Christmas back in 1972! I played with my barbies so much and even stole my brother's GI Joe's so she could have extra passengers on her plane! I was always traveling the world at 8 years old, you know. Busy busy busy! 😂

I was thinking this as well. 😊
I would be an absolute grumpy wreck. And I'm putting that nicely lol
@@bobbiellison4315 Absolutely the same for me! My ADHD makes me go alone 😅
That calendar that you picked up did have the ORIGINAL Little Rascals on it, LOL.. I thought it was the original also
I had the barbie head too lmao
Pretty sure it was orginal rascals!
That Rascals Calander looks just like old school
That is not an original little rascals. They redid a movie in 1994. That was from that movie.
It's cute how Matt never disagrees with you ❤

The highlight of my Monday, is a new Kayla video!

Oh, I remember that game now! What a blast from the past I had 5 siblings, so we thought this game was the bomb! Lol
BINGO. So much more fun than video games. I had all these toys and they are saying "These are sooo old". All of them came from the Sears and Roebuck Christmas dream book.

I always think how different my own life would be if i had someone that enjoyed the "thrill of the hunt" like I do. Mine will go with me but hes not exhilarated by it like I am! Im glad you two kids found each other!
The more toys I see the older I feel 😂
Tell me about it! Lol
Vintage, lol
I like the way you and Matt are so respectful of someone else's property. I look forward to your and Matt's new videos!
Yeah! It’s Kayla and Matt time
The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago used to (and may still) have a vending machine where you could make the blow mold dinosaurs. Always a fun souvenir!
All
The older fisher price toys are filled with insane amounts of LEAD
!!!
That vintage Barbie bathroom set is pretty cool. Rare to find something that old with the box still being in decent condition still. Food looked pretty good at longhorn. Thanks for taking us along :)

It’s filled with mold, dirt germs etc stay safe ❤

"Smack your little tushi." 😊
This estate sale was a dream! I love vintage toys, & those prices were amazing!
Love how Kayla gets so excited and Matt has such a calm demeanor! You sure hit the motherlode of vintage toys! Good for you!
Yes my favourite couple on RUclips love ya both
Back in the late 60s at a Sinclair expo u could put a quarter in a machine and the dinasor was formed in the machine and pushed out.
that was so sweet Matt.
Omg.....i had that barbie airplane when i was a child in the 70's.
😂 I had The barbie airplane when I was a kid 50 yrs. Ago! Yikes
Doesn't it make you feel those years slip up on you when you see VINTAGE toys? It sure does me!😅
I had both the airplane and the Barbie “head” (1974) thats what I used to call it!! I would be so proud of putting on her makeup and fixing her hair… 😂😂 Oh my goodness that was such a long time ago!!
That basement held a LOT of my childhood memories and a BUNCH of my almost 40-year-old son and daughter's childhood memories! WoW!
Your the sweetest couple on RUclips❤❤
My goodness, you must have missed so much in the crowd of people, but what fantastic treasures you did manage to find. Thank you for the vlog. Much love to you both K🇬🇧❤️❤️

The estate sale was a jackpot 🎰

Kayla is so cute and excited! Such fun!
I love watching you guys. Your so cute

You and Matt have so much fun thrifting for treasures. Great finds today.
That wallet is awesome

Aww I had that Barbie head and the Barbie airplane. That was in the 70’s
Oh my! Such great, Barbie finds!!
You two are great to watch😁👍
The kindness and respect you show each other is refreshing🥰 Thanks for all you do to make your content fun to watch❣
Definitely look up the turkey next time. Some of those were made that way with staples on them.
Congrats on all those amazing finds.
Oh no KAYLA! Y’all didn’t get the strawberry cake on the kitchen counter? I have one my mom made JUST like that in ceramics class in the 70’s or 80’s and it was going for around 200.00! My bad sorry! I saw it had a sold tag on it! Too bad, those are a bolo! ❤
I believe the 1986 calendar did have the original Little Rascals cast on it.. Alfalfa, Darla, Spanky, Buckwheat, Dickie & not sure of the name the little girl on the end & Petey the dog!
I was hoping somebody pointed that out. Those are the original little rascals.
I love the way you guys hyperventilate when you get around alot of cool deals!
Another great video….i could watch you two all day long ❤❤
I had that barbie airplane.....wow!!!!!!!!!
I had that barbie plane in the 70s so much fun!!!
Thank you. What a fun day for you both. Probably one of your best videos. Happy Hunting
Such awesome finds, thanks for taking us along.
I had the Barbie bath as a kid! It bubbles!
So funny how excited Kayla is - almost frantic (I would be too 😂). Matt so chill just casually looking stuff up.
Love. Yes our video you are great
Relaxing with my sleepy tea watching my favorite flippers before i crash tonight. You 2 are the best!
Kayle gets so excited. Great haul !!! And Matt being naughty with the plastic hand. I'll smack you on the tush. Lol... Love it !!!!❤❤
I started singing the “Wind Song” song…. On my mind…
Wow that was fun! Good picking guys ❤❤❤❤
That was toy heaven ❤ love the sale😊
My dad had a toy store back before Toys R Us came into existance. Once they did they put him out of business. He was only offered ten cents on the dollar for his stuff. He kept everything in the garage. Over the years my brother would steal his stuff and sell it. Not only did he take from my dad but he took from our inheritance. He had way cool stuff too. It's all gone but if we would've known how valuable that stuff would be now, we would've made out. It amazes me what people will pay for the old toys.
I used to have that Barbie bathtub and most of the Barbie stuff so many memories of my childhood❤
I love seeing all these toys from my childhood.
You guys always find the most interesting items.
I have enjoyed this video very much .
A lot of those 1969 hotwheel track pieces sell really good for individual pieces
Kayla, is definitely in her element. 👍💯 Love it 😊 great find on the Batman wallet. 👍 Matt.
Wow all the Barbie stuff. That Barbie ship. Amazing. Big money for 60’s 70’s Barbie stuff.
What a fun estate sale. Thank you for considering us (your audience) to "shop" with you when you said "I want to see everything but they want to see too". Yes, we were interested too. 🙂❤
Yeah! My favorite couple here to make my day.
Oh my gosh! I had the Barbie Airplane when I was a kid. Love it!! Love watching you two. So much fun!!
I love it when Kayla gets excited. So laser focused. Sorry you bashed your head Matt. You two are super fun to follow around.
You guys really do make a great team
One of my favorite episodes so far!!
I think I was excited as Kayla was!! Amazing pickups!!
I want that wooden drawers at the beginning. It has white knobs on it. Absolutely beautiful.
I loved that wooden chest of drawers with the porcelain pulls!!!❤ I would have pryed it off the wall! Lol
I can't believe all the vintage toys you found in that basement. I've never seen some of those. I love watching you both 😊
Time bomb!! I loved playing with that. It gets passed quickly between players and when it “explodes” whoever has it is out.
They get so excited, it gets transferred to the viewers. Blessings!
You both get so excited, you get me excited. I’d love to be there, all this going for near nothing.
The Time Bomb was played in a circle. You wind it up and then pass it around. If it blows up while you’re holding it, you’re out. It was a blast!
I love how you two tag team thrift. You are definitely a power sourcing couple! By the way, you missed that vintage Atlanta Braves pennant!
I had that Barbie Plane back in the early 70's
Awesome estate sale! Great video!
The problem for me is that shipping is so expensive either buying or selling. It has gotten so crazy. You two are so cute and I love how excited Kayla gets when she finds something really special. 💕
