Amazing to see the evolution of PolyChrome... congratulations on an amazing new launch and couldn't be happier for McRocklin and the team!! Can't wait to get stuck in creating some tones 🎸🤘🔥
I was slightly doubtful that I could be completely surprised and caught off guard by a new plugin coming out these days, but the PDSP team has done it. I am completely blow away by this plugin! Well done PDSP team!
I remember when I first tried on the Polychrome DSP McRocklin suit, it was mind-blowing and absolutely fantastic! But let me tell you, the HyperRig Kiesel is on a whole other level of awesomeness! I was truly impressed by all the intricate details and I just wanted to say thank you for creating such an amazing product!🔥❤
The moment I saw you released new plugin, I knew it was pointless to resist the urge to buy. I tried. I really tried. I didn't expect to spend money on guitar plugin this month. "Do I even need it...? It cannot be better than McRocklin Suite!", "what if it will be just reskin of McRocklin Suite?", "I need to save money so I can buy a house!". But, as I said, it was pointless, the battle was lost before it even began. I thought I will regret the purchase, but man, I was so wrong! This fucking rocks! I always like to play with settings and never factory presets satisfy my needs, but not this time: everything is "spiced" almost perfectly out of the box. Amazing job! Cleans are not as good as was in your previous plugin, but still better than plugins from other companies. Transpose option is not to my liking, I have a feeling that I lose too much dynamics. But I am really nitpicking here. To summarize this: I am blown away! Great work! Can't wait for your next plugins!
Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful comment! We’re sorry you lost the battle against resistance hehe. Pleeeeese spend some more time with Maple, it’s a wonderful clean amp that does high headroom and breakup, but it also takes those drive and compressor pedals so well. It’s setup quite differently to the McRocklin Suite as you’ve noticed, so keep exploring and experimenting, it’ll be worth it 👍🏻 Thanks again and have a lovely weekend.
Maybe I'm just having bad luck, but I get a warbled sound when transposing, and the dynamics are lost/high & low pass filter is introduced, even when tuning down a half step.
Good morning, it might be worth checking your input level settings on your audio-interface. It is also very weird to hear the guitar pitched down in the same room as your guitar strings as you are hearing standard tuning and down tuning at the same time. Headphones can help with this. Have fun!
Gonna have to sound pretty damn good to make me skip out on the McRocklin. Seriously there’s something really really good about the McRocklin. I started with lepou’s stuff like 10 years ago and then onto ml sound labs and neural and a bunch of others. I always come back to the McRocklin. The edge amp with the boost on and an overdrive pedal gets me such a bad ass metal tone. Fine I guess I’ll try this one too.
@@polychromedsp And you were right:) When the default position sounds good with a tweak to the gain, the tight switch, and my ts9, I know it's going to be good. Seriously, that middle channel is awesome. I love the range of sounds you can get with the gain it has. And the low end is perfect. Sounds good with my lower tuned instruments but is still thick enough to chug nicely. I'm surprised more of the metal guys (talking mostly about the non-modern metal guys) don't click with this thing and the mcrocklin. The presets on the mcrocklin are so rad that most of my presets are just slight modifications of the stock presets.
How do the amps, pedals, cabs etc compare to what's in the mcrocklin suite? I can obviously listen for myself but would be good to hear it in your own words. I own the MRS (and use it for 95% of my playing now) so I want to understand the different use cases of each to see if it's worth owning both.
The amps and feel are very different. Take Maple for example, it’s impossible to get these kind of clean tones with the McR suite. There’s LOTS of new technology and approaches in HyperRig Kiesel. We’re planning a live Q&A so this could be a great subject to talk about on that. For now, try the demo and without any effects just see how your guitar feels and plays using HyperRig Kiesel to see if it’s for you or not. Either way, we’re super happy that you’re using the McRocklin Suite so much. We also have updates in the works for that. 👍🏻

Thank you so much DRich!
You'll get stuck DRich! Very easily. Make sure you look at your phone and stretch once in a while. Don't ignore your loved ones like I did! LOL

You guys rock! The Maple amp is so massively versatile, and I absolutely love being able to change the cabs and speakers in the plugin.

Thank you so much!
The sound of this plugin is superb, digital finally feels real ! Very impressive. I’m definitely getting it !
We think so too! Enjoy!! 👋🏻
I have never utilized a DAW or ran my rigs through my PC. However, I find this very interesting and well done on this.
thank you any questions just let us know.
Hypertune........WOW.......excellent demo and awesome features
Gotta say, that HyperTune has me HYPED! Congrats on the new release Thomas, et al! ❤
Enjoy and thank you!
Outstanding stuff! Is Hypertune coming to the McRocklin suite soon? Can't wait!
Seems like now I'll have 2 favorite plugins :)
ENJOY!
Yaaaaas!
Enjoy!
It sounds good, but if it were a physical amp. With three channels and the physical pedals you could buy. It would be phenomenal

😂🎉lmao! Yep! Me either! Me either! Me either! Ah, who am I kidding?! It’s sick…😮. If I bought this I’d likely never leave my studio😅
I really wish you would give existing McRocklin users a full demo version.
There is a demo version available on the product page

any discount for Polychrome users?
Discount is available for McRocklin Suite in the “my offers” in the user area of the website. ua.polychromedsp.com
will mcrocklin get transpose?
This is what I want to know!
Oh it will at some point for sure, we're already working on V2 : )
Indeed it will.
PLEASE!! That’s literally all it’s missing!
What are you doing in Ola's studio?

@@polychromedsp thanks for the response guys 🙏🏻 I'm definitely going to give it a shot!
Cant get the trial to download.
Maybe you have some pop up blowers?
Just tested the Mac and Windows demo downloads and they’re working 👍🏻
Let us known.
How can I join the discord?
You can join our Discord server from here: www.polychromedsp.com/discord
Doesn't Kiesel just send you guitars for free? A free 8 string always looks cool on the wall even if you don't play it.
Haha Doc, I'll ask McRocklin to play it more! He's using HyperTune too much hahaha. Thanks for checking out the video : )
