I believe, after I tried many plugins, all sound very similar. A little Eq and some ir and you’re OK with all amp sims, from freeware to cheap. I don’t spend too much money for plugins anymore, because now even the freewares have great sound. Keep the good work and greetings from Greece 🇬🇷
Yeah. I agree with you. With tweaking you can get a good sound out of quite a lot of them. You find the one that like and keep going back to it. I have a stack of plugins and find I go back to Omega Granophyre 90% of the time with Bogren, Odeholm and these Resington IRs. Then next is the SLO 100.
@@modernroyaljams Omega is one of my favourite. Is the only Ndsp plugin I have. But the Taranov Tourmafrost and Raven are very similar.
@@MetalPrometheusI want to try them out but they won’t work on Mac.
Hey thanks for checking HyperRig Kiesel out. I'm happy that you thought it sounded fantastic!
Loved the 'Perfect lead tone comment' Cheers!
HyperTune (the world's fastest and most accurate transposer) is a lot of fun, and included with HyperRig Kiesel.
McRocklin Suite and Kiesel Guitar owners get 20% off too.
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for commenting dude and hypertune is pretty impressive!
greatest plugin after the Mcrocklin suite I love it. I hope you like my presets
I bought Rhino on sale a couple of days ago and is the only guitar plugin that I use, I tried so much amp sims and all sounds pretty similar, but the big difference is always the IR you use. Love your videos bro, keep growing your channel, cheers from Argentina.
It's just another perfectly fine amp sim. They all sound like a differently EQd line 6 badonk at this point.
Welp, now you got the full Keisel experience from the rooter to the tooter and everything in between! I must say that transpose function is the most accurate I have heard yet and should yield some interesting results along with the wide array of tones. Plus, it looks great and has everything you need out of the box. I can't wait to hear what you come up using the full package, I know it's going to be stellar! 👑🎸🔥
Tonocracy exists. The need to spend money on amp Sims is gone imo
Its funny cause i think audioassult realizes this and you can BUY a plugin that lets you use nam profiles with their amplocker plugin
Love them both. Very different.
tbh for me the only stuff worth of buying it's amplitube with the Brian May pack, but im a poor Brazilian man so i found other ways of having It...
@@oyashirosamabrasileiroVtarAmps has free and very cheap amp sims that I love. Also Vadim, the guy behind it, is a great guy. The Termless is an absolute monster, for example and worth the 20$. Idk how much that would be in your economy, but the free stuff is absolutely nothing short of amazing too
Thanks for the review, I've checked it out myself and I definitely agree sounds great, I like dynamic in this plugin 🎸
I really like how
You present stuff. No fluff.
Thanks
Congratulations on 8k Subs! Well deserved bud! Off to 10k, I wanna see some resington merch! 🙂
Got to say, the Kiesel is kinda cool, but also a bit redundant in the current market. I am thinking about having my own spin with it on the channel, but unsure yet. CONVINCE ME (plz)😀
Sounds great!
sounds tight and the rifffs also man
Transpose is great for the brown note. I'll change my trunks shortly.
Seriously though, this plugin sounds really really good, and the stock cabs sound better than most.
Even the default settings kicked ass!
Sounds pretty sick .....i'm impressed.
Cheers!
@@resington Love love love your channel !
I buy the ones that really click with me now. They pretty much all sound good so I demo and if I’m in love after a few days, I buy it. I fell in love HARD with the McRocklin. Best hi gain tones for me and really easy to get new ones. Edge amp with the boost on and add 1 of their boost pedals (the blue one and green ones sound awesome) and my ts9 going into my interface in front of everything is my fave tone. Works well in a lot of different tunings/guitars. I tried the hyper rig and really liked it. But that is a lot for an amp sim. Gonna try again when it’s on sale and if I fall in love again it may be another one in my plugins folder. The hyper rig had a really nice and tight low end and that first preset has a nice crunch to it. Great starting point for other tones.
Can you provide LINKS to some of these products? I'd love to hear from other amp sims that people are finding useful.
The McRocklin is from the same company that makes this hyperrig. Other plugins I’ve used and liked are the lepou plugins (love the engl one, and the legion) ml sound lab stuff (try the free fluff amp) and bias fx. I like the neural honors plugin but it’s also expensive. Ml sound lab stuff is pretty reasonable. Audio assault has some good stuff too (loved the triple crown one) but I’ve only had demos of those.
Jesus 129 dollars big no from me. To much good stuff for less and free as we know.
Man they are cool, but expensive is my least favourite word!
First like and comment!!
It comes a tad too late ...the market is already full and packed and once you've got 20 and plus in your arsenal there's not much else left to fill a gap.
It's great but like you said, packed. It's like when yet another coffee shop or bar pops up on the high street. Nice but we already have a lot.
I know you use your shoeless drive but have you used mercurials metalzone plugin as a boost it so versitile you can go from super tight chugs to chainsaw with just a couple knob turns
Yeah got it years ago. Great pedal.
I'm not one to complain about price much, but I'm passing on this. Unless transpose is important, it's hard to recommend it. Its an interesting idea though and has decent tones.
Sounds good like all modern plugins. But imo once you own one good plugin you’re set forever. No reason to buy more. Personally I use archetype Gojira but lots of other equal quality options available
Buying more is just gear acquisition syndrome only even more ridiculous because at least physical gear retains some value
True. It's fun for me to try things here though. Like trying local ales and moving on.
@@resington yeah if you’re spending a low/no amount of money and having fun then it’s no problem.
Respect that you mostly cover free/cheap plugins. So much of RUclips is just QVC masquerading as honest reviews
I guess in today's time with free or very cost friendly stuff like amp locker from AA or tonocracy, almost no one is willing to spend so much money... unless you get tricked by marketing (Bogren stuff and neural dsp are experts in marketing imo 😂 )
My personal simple answer is: No!
I don't like the sounds and as little the pedals collection.
My ToneX models of my own (mostly Marshall voiced) gear sound much better.
Sounds as it sounds.Nothing new.
