This college town is only a half hour east of downtown Los Angeles and nestled amongst a backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains, making it the perfect weekend getaway. Claremont has a charming walkable college town with an East Coast vibe. There are tree-lined streets, natural gardens, artisan bakeries, restaurants serving cuisines from around the world, and vintage stores.
It's been named the "City of Trees and PhDs" as it is known for the Claremont seven colleges. The Claremont Colleges includes five undergraduate liberal arts colleges and two graduate schools: Pomona College, Claremont Graduate Institution, Scripps College, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Pitzer College and Keck Graduate Institute.

fr this spot is only for locals. the prices are high for a reason but considering the town is mostly old people that city is gonna go to shit pretty soon
Why was it necessary to specify the business being "Black Owned?" You don't specify when it's "White Owned" You don't have to say Black Owned just say a Creole Food Style Restaurant! The ethnicity of the owner isn't necessary unless there was an underlying message. We are no better than you and vice versa, don't feel pressured into saying things that you wouldn't normally say. Creole style food restaurant would have been just fine!
Because that’s how they advertise themselves on Yelp Etc, and some people want to patronize businesses because they are minority owned/ women owned/ family biz etc.
Claremont is very white but with pomona being just a stones throw away we do have some diversity
