I've heard Kishi Bashi on the radio in Starbucks and he's had his music in commercials so this isn't entirely true, but also artists as authentic as him don't need that kind of fame. Fame is a biproduct of good works, but it tends to become more of a nuisance because it takes away a person's ability to meet people with a blank slate the way we are meant to experience life. Top 10 fame means everybody with a tv or radio can come up to you and start acting weird. Nobody wants that, and if you do, you should check yourself and your ego's superficial desires.
No, I'm glad they don't. Fame is very bad for your mental health. This guy's songs get licensed all the time - he's getting paid for his work. It's a good balance.
@@cv2tv dude,I'm from India and the sole reason I'm here listening to this amazing song,is Rick and Morty...so for a product (here, a song) to reach out to a man who's halfway across the world, needs a lot of fame...if the creator was someone like Eminem or Marshmallow I'd 've already listed to this... so it's not always bad to have a celebrity status 😁🙌
His music feels like every long hug you've ever received, mixed with a cup of the most soothing tea, mixed with the sound of rain while laying safely in bed, mixed with being in love, mixed with heartbreak, mixed with a soft kiss and the magic of being a human. Raw. Primal. Vulnerable. Incredible.
That is by far the best way I have ever heard music being described. If I had to explain music to a deaf person, THAT is what I would tell them word for word. Ty so much for that.
Rick and Morty brought me to this song, which I have to say was the perfect song for the episodes theme towards Morty’s love story. It honestly made me cry a little to see how much in pain Morty was and that just shows how much of great character development the episode showed on his part.
@@alonh1809 yes ! The whole sound track is brilliant, light and funny when it has to be, deep and sorrowful when the scene is appropriate, this one hits right home
I'lll chime in with the other fans. This video brought me to tears. The sound is flawless, the setting is intimate, the visuals are gorgeous and the song is pure poetry! It's all evocative of my longing for a more beautiful world.
I’ve probably listened to 1 million songs from every possible genre and will probably listen to 10 million more before I die, but this song will always remain my favorite
This is as close to the perfect song that I heard in my lifetime and yet my mind chose to forget; perhaps it wants to hear it for the first time once more.
Hauntingly beautiful. My orchestra teacher had us play some of your music for the kishispringfling contest that you're holding and I decided to look you up in my own time. I'm in awe
Just saw him at the earl in atl. He connects with the crowd in such a special way. He makes eye contact with people as if we were making the music with him. It feels amazing, a joined effort. Never felt so vital at a live show before, as if I wad playing an instrument. He is incredible.
Could you imagine would it would be like if Imogen Heap and Kishi Bashi met up and did a track together? Christ, it would be mind blowing. They're both kind of like one person symphonies....
Hello, I am from 8 years in the future. A silly cartoon that got real deep brought me here to say almost the exact same thing. The moment I saw this, I thought he should use her glove machine to sing this. It would be amazing. ... more amazing.
Forget the fact rick and morty got me here but, hes one amazing violinist so much raw emotion from love to heartbreak really hope for more of the live content
I don't lament his lack of popularity, that's for him to do -if it matters to him. I hope he continues to be available forever. I can help that happen by spending small amounts of money on his songs.
I have to add more. The crew on his tour right now is wow. The girl that opens up for him brings peace to your heart, the crazy banjo man lifts your heart, and kishi makes your heart dance! GO SEE THEM!!!!!!
This is definitely one of my fave videos ever on youtube. Kishi Bashi is a genius and The Wild Honey Pie have gone and done it again. Great clip, beautifully shot. Thank you.
Just wow. This whole vibe made me tear up. Music is so beautiful and it's one of the best healers out there. I appreciate Kishi bashi so much. Truly appreciated thank you.

Can’t believe Rick and Morty had to introduce me to his music. It’s bewildering and I love it.
It's fascinating how well this music fits in with the third episode of season five
That episode made me so sad though lol

i wanna know who chooses music for rick and morty, they are the kinda people i want to follow
Great music comes from the strangest places haha I was introduced to this via R&M and the band The Hu at a pool party both over the weekend :D
It's too bad you don't see incredibly talented artists like this get rich and famous and hit the top 10 charts
I never comment but the truest statement. So much good work out there positive inspiration so many things but we are fed low grade junk.

Kishi Bashi makes fairy music to yearn to.
That's the vicious cycle one relives constantly over the loss of a loved one.
That is by far the best way I have ever heard music being described. If I had to explain music to a deaf person, THAT is what I would tell them word for word. Ty so much for that.
Your poetry is awesome! :)
That's a beautiful description, I completely agree
i imagine this is what plays on your way to heaven through space
A Titan it probably is
Agreed. Stars and hugs
I really hope so.
Mormon or metaphorical?

If Kishi Bashi and Andrew Bird collaborated on something, the planet would explode.
Great now I gotta look up Andrew Bird 🤦🏿♂️😂
This song reminds me of Pulaski in the night
My roommates and I cried upon hearing this after seeing it on R&M. We still play it. Beautiful song!!
Violin is so powerful, it always gets me so emotional
Didn’t think I’d be sobbing in my living room at 4 AM but here I am.
Love Kishi Bashi. He actually just played at my wedding. Was a dream.
Close your eyes and it is a full fledged orchestra .
Lovely
I am so weak and fragile- i feel peace in this song. It makes it hurt less.
I found out about this guy a few days ago, and I haven't listened to any other artist since. He is so talented
Let me remind you of this song…

This is heavenly.
Shit, this is the most beautiful song I have heard in years....
rick and morty were sad in this episode😥

This era of Kishi Bashi's music is phenomenal. 151a is an amazing album and deserves to be in everyone's collection.

He puts his whole heart into this song, I love watching him play it live. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
The control of his voice and tone is incredible
Bringing a whole new level of feelings to the surface.
When he said "I'm a coward behind shield and spear" I felt that.
This is such a beautiful song. I could listen to this every single day on repeat.
If you’re reading this, I love you. I love you always. ❤️
Thanks man needed it sitting outside my work on my lunch break crying to this man

Make noise because it feels good, make noise because it hurts. God can't escape forever, and a child can't escape growing up.
I've known about this song forever and when I heard it on Rick and Morty again I flipped out, its so cool and brings back so many memories.
