you bet it is!! Awesome song!! you guys made it that much more powerful!!
It remains at the height of excellence in my book! Nu Deco Ensemble you have made a wonderful piece of live performance with the masterful Kishi Bashi! I love him so very much as an artist and as a musician myself and I love the work of all the Nu Deco Ensemble players as well! Masterclass in how to really bring a song like this to full living, breathing glory! Many thanks from a humble fan of all of you in Chicago!!
Your music was so beautiful in that episode. It really gave the whole thing an identity.
grateful that Rick and Morty introduced me to this, this is gold

Yes. No words...
Fam!!!!

I've watched almost every version of this song I could find by now 😂 then repeat
Maybe this will get more views after tonight as it was just used on Rick and Morty. Such an incredible song.

Yes!I immediately went looking up this song after watching.
the reason im here just an amazing piece
Definitely was the best song they have used since the episode with evil morty back in season 3 (i think)
i will never forget seeing kishi bashi perform in the tiniest central florida bar with a crowd of maybe 50 people a few years back, i paid $7 to hear some life-changing music and i didn't even realize it at the time. he's truly amazing live, his voice is flawless
I saw him Live in 2015 in Vermont. I had no idea who he was. His rendition of Live and Let Die blew me away.
What ?! When?! WHAT BAR? I grew up in central fl. 💃
After I "discovered" his music and listened to this whole concert I went to check if he was on tour. He was, and he was in my town the month before. :(
@@TheLizItIs It was at the High Dive in Gainesville in 2014 with so few people in the crowd that we easily left our front row spot for drinks and came back to find it still open

We are all late to the party but blessed to have discovered him no mater the medium surprisingly a cartoon. Honestly already one of my favorite songs ever. Right now it is my favorite. This is why music exists

1 MILLION VIEWS of "I Am the Antichrist to You" with Kishi Bashi and Nu Deco Ensemble!
Thank You to Everyone who has watched!!
We are so grateful this video has become so special for the many fans of the Rick and Morty show as well as our close collaborator Kishi Bashi! In the third episode of season five, "I Am the Antichrist to You" soars high while the main character Morty, faces internal and emotional struggles that led him to let the woman he loved go.
Kishi’s music delivers dramatic punch to this amazing episode and we are beyond thankful and blessed the world has embraced this music so much!
We hope you continue to enjoy all our releases on RUclips and Bravo to Kishi for creating such beautiful music which resonates with so many!
Honestly your incredible you all really are and kishi here with you made something truly special
Beautiful! You all are amazing and talented!
Without this music, that episode wouldn’t be so special for me. Thanks to you and Kishi!)
Amazing synergy in the context of the r&m ep. However, knowing some of the artist background & then to listen to this collaboration.. Just amazing depths, inverted & understood. Bravo. Way to strike a chord 💜

I know right
Thank God they put it into the episode. This song and the performance deserve so much attention
If you listen closely, you'll hear portions of the song sprinked into the episode in a few places.
Song played during the episode and during the credits. I literally paused the episode when watching to look up this song.
It’s like a heartache that you thought you forgot. It drew me here, and now I’m laying in bed crying.
Imagine what it was like to be in that room during this performance.
It was spectacular!
The fact not everyone is in tears surprises me. It's so hauntingly beautiful

This is hands down the best version for this song, and it is a LIVE recording 😮
I honestly do not know how the people that we see sitting at this venue are not crying.
I think I've watched this on repeat roughly 11 times, and I still cannot hold back my tears from the absolute melancholy majesticness of this composition.
This truly is the most beautiful thing that I've ever heard.
Saw him live last night and cried during this and Manchester. Completely lost it 😂
@@revolutionizeusa I cannot even begin to imagine... Who could one not cry to this?
This is something that needs to be witnessed in person to be able the feel the full effect.
I was going to complain about how RUclips compresses audio, but even without that compression you'd never be able to feel/witness this in it's full majesty. Never.
It's not often that I feel "envy", but yes, I'm definitely envious of you to be able to see this live. Definitely.

The pure joy on his face, with the orchestra doing a stunning job on his song
Lyrically, for me, this resonates with love lost, how we view those we no longer have and how we view ourselves through their eyes. Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Perfectly stated, you put into words everything I feel when hearing this song

Who are you? Who am I to you?
I am the antichrist to you
Fallen from the sky with grace
Into your arms race

This song has fully helped me understand myself, I'm autistic and I always feel like the antichrist to people hiding my unique view of the world and my unique personality from others, with Kishi Bashi blessing I got those exact words on me forever "I am the antichrist to you" to always realise there is a place on this world and you should always express who you are, never be scared to be yourself, never hide the real you!
Literally insane.I am shocked. Thanks Rick and morty for discovering this masterpiece for me.
This is Gonna Get so Many NEW Hits after years... Thank you RICK & MORTY What an Episode
The difference between this outstanding live performance and the recording of the song is immeasurable, in my opinion. And it's not that the recording was bad, either. It's just that with the live instruments the depth of the composition is so amplified. To me it shows the physical passion that gets lost between a recording and a performance with real musicians. Such a beautiful song. Thanks!
I have the feeling Morty is evolving towards a "Rickiest" personnality, with his own life's passions, disapointments.
I like the fact the show is getting more and more complexe in his characters feelings
yessir
Been rooting for Morty since day 1.. and some people actually hate what they've done with Morty lately, but I welcome his character development with open arms.
Actually I'd say the end of the episode proved this wrong. At the end Morty chose to express his feelings and genuinely cry and seek comfort from Beth. Rick wouldn't do any of those things, rick would denounce love and make some sarcastic remark about needing people. The end of this episode showed that while Morty is becoming like rick in different ways, he's still Morty and will still always hold certain values.
@@Shon51 id argue that every horrible tragedy morty experiences, every apocalypse he sees, every relationship that ends in horrific disappointment and pain, every hero he learns to be a coward, every person he tries to save that dies anyway. That’s what’s turning him into Rick, because that’s who Rick is. He’s a man who is numb to all the senseless pain in the universe

This is the first peice of music I've seen from your orchestra, you have shown me something I've been missing. I've been close to no longer being on this planet but this music has shown me life can be beautiful and not just here to destroy me. I mean it, thankyou. You may have just save a life.
Hope you are still here and discovering little gems of beauty in areas of life. I've lived with someone who also believed their time was short. It's hard and no easy answers / solutions but finding daily comfort or beauty in the details is a strong foundation to learning to love your own little details. Keep listing please, to songs and your own heart. X
Stay strong friend, your never alone in that thought or feeling there’s millions perhaps billions of disbarring men, women and children who feel the way you do. Never feel isolate or alone there’s thousands of hearts, minds and souls beating to that same feeling every second of everyday. The least we could do is help to dust each other off and help whomever we can “even the growth of a frail flower driven up has shattered and split boulders, and enough money has left good enough men weak and withered, dead years before they’re ever buried”

There is so much beauty and pain in this song u can tell he put his very essence into every word and note of the song
Rick and Morty brought me here, People are saying poor Morty, but when you think about it, this is his journey to become a Rick.
I would actually argue that scene shows Morty choosing to be less like Rick. He is rejecting cynicism and accepting his feelings, and seeking comfort from others. Rick had only been this vulnerable when at his absolute lowest, and as far as we know only recently. However, we don't truly know what Rick has gone through.
