Wow, I encountered this fruit making Filipino peanut butter dish but it was canned in brine. Now you showed me the natural origin. Our cultures are historically linked. Thank you 🙏

Thanks for explaining in detail. Generally people keep it secret to ensure their recipe is not compromised. I am extremely happy that you showed the correct procedure in detail. From here on, any other site can be viewed for frying and other trivial details. Keep up the good work

hi, Banana Flower is one of the famous recipes in Assam. But as you showed we in Assam use whole Banana flower. Instead of using only the Flower, one can try the whole Flower (along with the cover) just cutting into small pieces and cook as you cook one delicious chicken curry/dry using the same kind of masalas

You can eat the red petals... chop, add to water and vinegar to remove the red color, and eat in a salad. You can pickle the hard flower petal and the "match stick" like you do watermelon rind.

  • @Wishy_vish

After you chop them you can boil them for 15 mins in water and turmeric. THen after they are cooked partially they will not get discolored or spoil for 2 weeks. You can add oil to the boiled florets to preserve them longer.

Instead of putting the chopped mocha into water, one can also put it in buttermilk or in lemon water to avoid discolouration.

    • @zabirkhan2140

Just like you can tell whether a banana is fresh or old by its skin, the same kind of logic may apply here.
