    You are spot on!! I have the x-s20.
    I was just on an engagement 💍 shoot. I had the monitor in with SmallRig plug holder. The port still messed up due to how I unplugged it. Luckily, I had taken all of the interview shots I needed. I used the x-t4 as my second angle.
    Anyway, my 1st big job and I can no longer use a monitor. BTW, if you have a fix, please let me know.
    I know, no more mini hdmi camera purchases for me. This looks like a good A-cam option for me. I don't want to go into CF express yet. Glad I am learning on this camera now.

I was thinking about switching to the sony a6700 because i do want to use that autofocus. I was thinking about the XH2S but it seems that native glass isnt always the fastets when it comes to video. Hi Blaise! Thank you so much for this! Xt5 was my first long time mirrorless cam (can canon r50 for a month but sold it off for xt5). I love it for photos then i realized wanted to do videos too. I was at the point of selling it off as well for the xh2s simply due to the flip screen. Hope you can make more videos about how to use the xt5 for video and work arounds for the flip screen if you want to vlog with it.

  • @AAD91
    @AAD91 5 месяцев назад

    I got my XT5 last year and I can't be more happy with it. It is my main camera and as a hybrid shooter it fits my needs perfectly. As you say, the possibility of having 14 custom modes it's great, works perfect for my film sims in photo mode and for my workflow un vídeo with all the modes I need. It has a small body and for super long photo shoots it's not the most comfortable, more if you pair it with heavy lenses but I purchase the smallrig handgrip and it feels a lot better. I have rented a couple of times the Fuji XH2S and it is a great camera. ISO performance is outstanding and it is the worst thing on the XT5 for me so I think that combining them both must be a great combo. Dying to watch your next video about your XT5 settings!

      Def considered it (did you watch the whole video?). XT5 was the right price for me (found a great deal on an open box model), didn't want more CF express (added cost), didn't want 8k, liked the idea of a b cam having a smaller body for places I need to bring a very small camera. If I was going to spend the extra money on the XH2 it would have made more sense for me just to get an additional XH2S. As far as the XT4 - wanted F-Log2, unlimited recording.

    • @zsoldosbotond7531
      @zsoldosbotond7531 5 месяцев назад

    • @blasepivovar
      @blasepivovar  5 месяцев назад

      For interviews, I typically plug in my camera/monitors directly to wall power via USB C and an extension cord. If that isn't the option or I am needing to move around, v mount is the answer. Before that, I used 10,000mah portable battery banks as a budget solution and those worked great. Hope that helps!

      @zsoldosbotond7531 yeah you need to make sure you have one that has a PD output. From there usb c should be sent to the camera from the PD port with a proper cable. Once the battery bank dies, the internal battery on the camera will be full charged and then will begin depleting it.
