I enjoy seeing people post these Prodigy videos because it is a great entry pistol to the 2011 community. I know it is looked down on by the Stucatto, Atlas etc. folks but that is what it is. I love my Prodigy and it has been reliable and is the most accurate pistol I have other than my Sig p210. The Prodigy is king of the mountain as far as I am concerned, of the "budget" a.k.a. affordable 2011's. It is easy and affordable to upgrade the parts of the Prodigy if you want to for whatever reasons. The pistol is so rugged because of the forged frame and slide, and I don't forsee many people ever wearing it out. Thanks for a good video putting forth what the Prodigy is, a good, solid pistol for shooters.

From what I understand Staccato has licensed the term “2011” so they are the only ones that can call their guns a 2011. All others have call theirs something like 1911 Double Stack.

I can't decide between the Springfield Prodigy compact and the Live Free Armory Apollo 11 Compact. I honestly like the looks of the Apollo 11 best.
