Seems clear from just the first half of your video footage the slide was not going fully into battery on at least three occasions (which also jives with no primer strike). Then right after you pull the trigger and had the failure to fires, the slide pops a mm into battery right before you cycle the slide to clear the malfunction. Seems pretty clear to me the guide rod's spring needs to be weaker. Curious if you were shooting 115 grain ammo? I think they recommend installing the second weaker spring they provide for any ammo under 124grain. Typed this before watching the second half of your video. Those two springs aren't the same resistance. Did you try installing the reduced tension one they furnish for use with lower grain ammo?

I replaced the three springs below with harder ones and there is no problem. I don't understand why the factory officials don't think of this!? - Recoil spring - Needle spring - Reinforced magazine spring

1700 fps is what I've seen in videos on that ammo

I have to highly disagree. I've been using it for competition 3 guns shoot it, nothing is touching it for that price range.

Took mine to the range today. The first two mags I had stovepipes and failure to feeds all over the place. It functioned a bit better but still had issues. It was cleaned and lubed prior to shooting. It wasn't my grip either. I sincerely hope it runs better or it's getting traded in for something more reliable, awesome trigger or not

I have a Zion 15 and right out of the gates had a bad experience, it was packed poorly and arrived pretty banged up ( I bought a brand new one) I said whatever it’s just cosmetic, went to the shooting range and it would not cycle ammo properly or put one in the chamber when racking it. I called customer service, sent it in and the fucking clowns said it was all good, no problems I just needed to load it with the bolt open and that I shouldn’t load my magazines beyond their intended capacity!! 💀💀💀 so now you know guys DO NOT try to force 31 rounds in your 30 round magazine

Mine must have better genes than yours. Thousands of rounds with zero issues.

My TTI had about a 30% failure rate to go fully into battery for about 300 rds. It was out of battery @ 1/8" and just needed a little push to get it to close completely. But it was forward enough to let the striker release, but the firing pin block was still engaged. That's why some people on the forums had damaged firing pins. I got light primer strikes on some of the FTFs. The extra power spring they sent me worked great with heavy bullets, but short stroked 115g and 124g randomly. I put the regular spring back in after @ 300 rnds. It now shots all bullet weights flawlessly! My other Canik is an Executive which ran flawlessly from day one!

Mine frequently doesn't go into battery. The gun has been cleaned and lubed, I used several different brands of ammo, several different grain bullets, two different slides and I still have the issue.

Just bought one today can't wait for it to come in!!!!

1237AM This does happen but, usually is induced by a soft wrist and sluggish grip. The kit does come with a soft spring that can be interchanged to compensate for the different shooters. This was my experience when shooting with my spouse and son. It reminded me of the wrist strength needed to bowl and the adjustments needed to be made there. I will say sometimes though sir, the equipment can be faulty; luckily I haven’t experienced that yet. Hope this helps or adds to a solution somehow.

Mine has been flawless. Run 115 gr federal and haven’t had a single issue out of it in 2k rounds. Had a ton of duds when shooting Winchester 115gr white box. Just use a different ammo.

Clearly it is out of battery on the misfirees, you can see the gap between the compensator, The slide is closing about 1/8 - 1/16th of an inch overhanging the rear grip.

The IWI is far more accurate and their QC is leaps and bounds above PSA.. If u get a good PSA rifle, then it'll be as good as anything at that price, but there's a chance u might get a shitty one, a good chance.. Ive never heard of anyone buying an IWI and complaining about issues

no issues, only proof. both short and long shells work. Just testing the really limitations of both and adjust for hunting and self defense situations. everything in it's proper order.papa 😊

Did you swap out the recoil spring to resolve the issue?

Im pro 2A and i own several AR's, i think we need to be honest about what the oppositions position really is, that way we can communicate and educate each other.. Nobody wants to ban AR's because of how scary they look.. They want to ban, restrict or regulate them because they are used in school shootings, and they are tired of seeing children die.. I feel like we can have good faith conversation if we stop misrepresenting what people's positions are..

If you look at the camera footage in slow motion you can see it's not going all the way into battery and you're right if shoot it's fast and don't let it reset it'll be out of battery my nephew is having this same problem which is why he got for $600 in a pawn shop I tried to tell him if that gun is in a pawn shop something s wrong

I had 5 failures to feed in the first 75 rounds. I cleaned it like crazy, oiled it, and cycled the slide about 300 times and have had another problem with the gun. I do not run blazer brass and they say to not run their ammo thru compensated guns. I run PMC and Federal 115 and 124g. It's been a great gun for me with over 2000 rounds thru it now.

I own a canik tti, and have zero problems. You have to know the ammo and how to properly oil it. Not clean, just oil.

This is what happens when you buy a gun and dont properly oil and clean a gun every time you use it. It will have problems. Light strikes with the coil in the box (not in the gun already - the one in the case) comes from not cleaning and using the wrong ammo. Ive shot 60 different striker fire guns and if you dont clean them properly (you can tell by the recoil on his gun, he isnt oiling the spring properly) problems happen.

It's not misfiring.. the slide is out of battery but forward enough to drop the striker when you pull the trigger... that's why it has 2 recoil springs.. so you can tune it to the ammo you're using...
