We tried damping on the suzuki brezza, this was done on the model VDI and this can be done on any car and any model.
This is really helpful and is highly recommended for every car owner whether new or old

But to reduce tyre noice it should be done on floor!! Dats where most of sound of tyres come. Correct me if I am wrong.

And you can also put dampening sheet on car hood so the engine noise also reduces.

Good information... but being a structural automobile engineer i can surely say it dose not increase strength of door or car... yes it surely gives sound insulation... this sheets plus rubber coating on inside of car may help a lot...
Just an advise Brother whenever u make videos don't talk about build quality until and unless its needed. People who own i20 i10 mid range cars start commenting like as if they own some German car.

Low quality damping sheet's result in bad smell in car specially in summar.
A normal music system is solution to overcome from outside (engine or road) sounds.
I drive tata nexon diesel and the car is so much noisy I can hear every thing inside the cabin, if I push above 90 km/hr it feels like I'm sitting with the engine in the car. I hate that car seriously. Dashboard makes different sounds. It seriously make me to lose my sleep. And you can't listen to music all the time if you're going for 200+ kms of journey.

These look like stickers and not sound dampeners. They had used very low quality one . Instead it shud be foam based and with added layers to it so to make it more sound proof.
You should have proved with the decibel meter before and after fixing the dampeners. Now you cannot justify..

proud owner of hyundai's santro and now technician at hyundai. hyundai ki strength and build quality mazboot hai as compared to maruti even all latest cars of hyundai comes with silent cabin.

Ye damping sheet nhi h bhai...ise ADM bolte h...anti damping mat.....aur ye cars k doors aur body me pehle se hi rehti h taki vibration na ho aur noice na generate ho...bss iska yhi kaam h...na ki strength provide krna

Some do the floors and even the engine bay hood. If doing the engine check on the temperature to see if the material is allowed. Also the ceiling of the passenger compartment, under the headliner.
If we make the doors heavy, won't it affect the hinges of the car? I am planning to damp but I fear the age of hinges will reduce. Let me know the experience.

Seem video was not planned, suddenly record and including voice during editing... Majbuti ka to pata nai. Par agar speaker 100rs. Power k around h door m to doors say distortion aaye, it's help to remove distortion and clean and loud bass.. and price can get easily 3k for 4 doors..

Damping will let get affected by rains aur andar pura ganda ho jaega metal jo dhire dhire sadne lagega aur phir kuch 5 saalon mein aap Apni chaddi bhi nahi pehen payenge aisa kharcha karna padega .....agar paisa hai toh original high end car kharide aur benefits paye nahito middle class car kharide aur middle class jeeye ....bcoz original is always original ....😑
Damping the doors is one of the best modification we need to do but this guy who's installing it is not doing it the right way

@@Quran4toddlers he's just pasting the damping sheets like how kids paste paper using glue..
He's not using roller to roll on it so that damping sheets get stick to the doors properly and not fall off after few days/months. Rubbing it by hand doesn't get enough pressure to stick to the doors.
If you knew it, you wouldn't have replied "what's the correct way".
So if you don't know something please do research about it and share what you have learnt. So that people watching it will learn something Right/correctway from you.

If anything doesn't open, knock it off with the screwdriver, apply the sheet and then cut against the metal to put full of knife marks!! He is not doing it neatly.
If it truly worked,those companies with millions with highly trained engineers would do it too.
No they wouldn't. They want you spend many lakhs more on a more expensive car or variant. Sound damping usually comes standard in luxury cars.
Use this for mud guard, car chassis floor and engine then it feels like zero sound
