    I have been having this noise but worse for the last year and all I could find was "lubricate the hinges" which did nothing because the noise is coming from right next to my head. Watched your video and problem solved. I would only add, I used a small foam paint brush to apply tire dressing to the gasket. Thanks for making this great instructional video.

    Never on earth I could have identified this problem in my car. I got dampening done seeing some other videos but it didn't help other than enhancing the speaker sound. I was thinking to may be sell the car (Maruti Ciaz) but you saved me lakhs :)
    I purchased Tyre Dresser spray of a German brand (won't name as I am not promoting it); sprayed as you suggested , started the car and the irritating sound was gone. While driving I was thinking to come back home and share this comment. 😊

    Hello Dear,
    My car wind sound comes from driver site when I reach 100-120km/hr in slow speed so good but in such speed will come, before this door has been repaired is there anything inside the door panel will prevent air sound if has been removed by car repairer and didnt put back inside?
    Thanks

    • @SMARTDrive
      @SMARTDrive  2 года назад +2

      There is special material which insulates the door panel to avoid heat/cold as well as sound to enter inside the door.
      The process is called "Dampening." You can make this at any profession service center. It will solve your issue as well your music system will also sound better.

    • @SMARTDrive
      @SMARTDrive  3 года назад +1

      Never faced or heard this issue due to linings.
      There are always some leakages in door linings. But it will never affect cooling. As it's only outgoing air.
      You can check all linings well so if there is any major cut in linings which is hampering your car's inner atmosphere.

      You can try but due to it's powerful properties of rust/stain removal, i avoided it.

      Yes. It works but does not lasts longer.

    Can't i just change the old rubber with a new one??

    • @SMARTDrive
      @SMARTDrive  2 года назад +1

      Obviously you can change but only when you observe cuts for wear and tear on the rubber lining. The rubber lining is too costly and if not installed properly then you will face many other issues than just a rattling noise

      @@SMARTDrive ohh ok thankyou very much. I have ciaz and i am facing this problem from 2 months now. Pls answer one more question, can i used oil for lubricating the rubber? For eg coconut oil.

    • @SMARTDrive
      @SMARTDrive  2 года назад +1

      Actually I have tried it. but it makes the rubber more sticky and it will not last long.
      Tyrr dresser lasts around 3 to 4 months where the oil can do it job only for a week or two.
      Just invest Rs.250 to resolve this issue for at least next 5 years. amzn.to/33dmcB0

    These are not solutions , its just dressing up the problem for short term gain , That Tyre dresser, silicone or whatever people believe will work , will leave a residue on the cars body , As you use the car that dresser will attract sand and dust which will stick to it , As you drive the rubber will scratch against the cars body , and you would have created a sandpaper like effect , leave that long enough , and it will cause rust , in the short term , it will damage the paintwork . The only real solution is to replace the rubber as it has lost its shape or structural rigidity . As a short term solution , I had thaught about feeding an airline tube inside the rubber which should prop up the rubber, this may help but using any dresser on the rubber is a no no , and if you use the wrong dresser , you may end up damaging and melting away the rubber , leading to even more problems like leaks .

      I've seen people apply thick layers of car wax to their vehicles and drive around for a couple of days assuming that it will soak itself into the paint and result in a better shine when buffed. All they are actually doing is creating an ideal surface for dust and grit to stick
