Yeah I was initially asking myself where are the Chinese players? but obviously all of the Hong Kong players will have to qualify to international rugby rules to legally play.

Both English and Cantonese are official and local language in Hong Kong.

I was really pulling for Kenya to get into the RWC, but better luck next time I suppose. They really need to work on running passes. Saw too many of their players receiving passes dead in their tracks. Amazing kit designs as always though.
A real shame HK didn't make it either. New nations in the RWC is always beneficial to increasing a sport's popularity.
World Rugby should destinate a budget to include some of these players in stablish pro team in tier 1 nations, covering 60% to 80% salary.

A grood way to help tier-2 and 3 nations improve would be to establish a program where clubs from the Top 14, URC, Super Rugby, and Premiership scout players from countries like Kenya, Uruguay, Chile, Romania etc. The Top 14 and Georgia have a good system in place where Georgian players play top flight rugby in France and its clearly payed off for Georgia in the international game.
Maybe you could even have lower tier clubs (Pro D2, RFU Championship, MLR) scout from IRB targeted and development nations like Sweden, Germany, the Baltics, Brazil, etc.
That first conversion attempt by Kenya must have been a horrific miss

It's a shame how kenyans would support in millions the UEFA leagues but would not bother to come here and support their own fellow kenyans playing rugby
