short answer to the title: Yes The long answer: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. 6 speed MT or 10sp auto can’t go wrong either way best car every can do everything
Because Cadillac is around 10,000 more $usd, I would say no, more so a class with Acura TLX. But yes it can be, which shows the value you receive with Honda 👍🏻
Infiniti is a solid vehicle but if your getting a good deal, why not. The 2023 is refreshed so keep that in mind and they no longer offer the 2.0 turbo.
I love my 2022 1.5t Honda Accord Sport Special Edition, so far it is the best performing car I ever owned, yes it is slower than the 2.0, but the 1.5 is NOT slow (0 to 60 in 7.1-2 seconds, is not bad) and it's pretty damn quick on the freeway, no problems with passing power. This is my third Honda, I have purchased. through out my thirty years of driving. I have no regrets.
@@tails300 Almost as fast as my 22' Accord Hybrid Sport. Yeah, the electric motor torque is good. I like that mine is all direct drive (no transmission), constant acceleration is so nice. You have a great point and that’s why I talked about the BMW 330i. The deal you receive with Honda has made it a level up, it’s not luxury but a great value 👍🏻
@@HawkeyeRides Actually, last week I traded in my 2016 Honda Accord, V6, with only 30k miles for the 2022 Mercedes C300 with AMG line. I was totally fixated on the 330i for several months, but since I found out they have a new 330i for 2023, I changed my mind on the 2022 330i model. However, due to the additional time I'll have to wait for the 2023 model, coupled with some of the things I don't like about it (i.e., the unattractive curved display sitting on the dashboard), I decided to go with the c300. But you do have a point. I think the Accord does have a lot of features that can be compared to an entry level luxury car. The one you reviewed appears to have a faster 0-60 than my c300, for example. My Accord was a V6, had leather seats, remote start, keyless entry, push to start, heated seats, power seats, rear and side cameras, etc...things that luxury cars still advertise in their cars today. Honestly, other than the name, I think my new c300 doesn't have much more than what I had on my 2016 accord. I was telling my friend the other day that I should have just gotten the 2022 Accord, like the Touring trim and call it a day (and save at least $12k) 😅.
Are we really comparing a Honda to a bmw ?? I had an 2017 accord now I’m actually in a bmw 2021 330i Msport package, idk why bmw is even being talked about because bmw it’s in its own class, maybe I woidl say honda Vs Mazda vs Toyota vs Nissan… NOT BMW
Unfortunately it’s not in its own class and the 330i does compare to the Accord. The 330i also compares with the Kia K5, Kia explains how it is faster to 60 and better handling, great cars, congratulations with you BMW 👍🏻
@@HawkeyeRides Honda will never drive like a bmw, I’m sorry… I loved my Honda don’t get me wrong but u can’t compare cars to a German performance luxury sedan to the everyday driver car…. ok so i am going to tell the truth about this car that most people will not admit. Coming from owning 4 accords all same generations. One in a 1.5 sport, the rest were 2.0 sports. They all had paint issues. All of them. Sometimes even in the same spots. Every little road debri this car would catch would mess up the paint. The accords have horrible super thin paint. It drives terrible in the rain. Its a long huge ass car. the car is too big if you are just one person and a small dude like i am. Power is good but eventually you start to feel like all this power for a car that is super huge? I get honda is targeting the family sedan but some of us still need small cars with a lot of power that dont have kids. It starts to look stupid having a car that is so huge and its only yourself lol. The gas is horrible too. Such a huge car and the gas sucked! I think the accord is always going to stay big and huge unless people like us demand an accord thats fast but small again like they used to make them. Until then i went back to a civic cause i dont even care about power. Also make sure the paint is better next time honda because your paint quality on them accords fkn sucks! and you all watch the longer you own these accords youll see.
With any vehicle you will have problems with paint if you do not maintain it or park in the sun (not in a gauge). I'm not saying that its perfect but if you apply good cleaners it will help any vehicle. If you are by yourself than the Civic is the best choice (if you want a smaller vehicle) as this is a touch longer. Thank you for your insight as it is always welcome to hear from owners that have been with the brand for a long time.
@@HawkeyeRides Sure with any car if you do not take care of the paint then eventually it will have the common issues just like any normal paint job would do. But this isnt a normal paint job is where i am getting at. Owning many cars in my life time i have to say the current accords paint is absolutely horrible. I would wax it, ceramic coat it, wash it by hand all the time, detail it. Nothing helped it. All four of them eventually had paint issues and like i said some even in the same exact spots! I bought all my accords brand new too. 2018,2020,2021,2022. All same gen. All paint problems no matter how much i tried to protect the paint. But besides that there were obvious other reasons why i went to a 2022 civic sport touring hatchback. Its a small tiny car with good power and tons of amenities at a good price point. If only Honda would bring back the small Accords like the coups or even make a 4 door small version. I can see that happening instead of a coup. Some of us dont want a fkn family boat with 280 horse power lol. Honda needs to start listening to there customers more often.
@@breannajones9498 on some of the cars exterior panels the gaps between them were sometimes too close to each other causing friction overtime with the driving causing the paint to peel or piece of it would chip. Particularly the side fender that meets up with the front bumper is not properly lined up on mostly all of the accords which over time causing chips. The bumper is the worst part it has the thinnest paint on that part of the car then the rest of the car. I had paint issues on all 4 of my accords. If you have one I suggest you look close for any signs. And most of the issues happened on there own and not from road debris
@@Rip84LW wow. Because I am looking to purchase a black 21 accord. When I went to test drive it I did notice the front bumper was a little darker than the rest like they repainted it or painted over something. It’s the last one on the lot. Sooooo idk what to do lol

When buying the 1.5t or the 2.0 does it change anybting besides the motor ? Like are the mechanic on the interior the same and the outside look ? It’s just simply a different motor looking to buying a 1.5t 2022 instead of the 2.0t let me know thanks in advance
-The sport trim starts this engine.
-Special edition adds leather, heated front seats, power seats, walk away lock and front + rear usb.
-exl adds wireless connectivity + charging, moonroof and blind spot
-touring heated and ventilated front seats, Navi, parking sensors
I explain details in the review 👍
The transmission is different. 1.5 gets a cvt while the 2.0 is a 10 speed automatic.
short answer to the title: Yes
The long answer: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. 6 speed MT or 10sp auto can’t go wrong either way best car every can do everything
@@slowrider05 they are awesome 👍
I own a Touring 2.0 - No doubt about it

I was explaining the Econ Mode when I was behind it, how heavy the pedal but Getifitron this is not going to be that fast lol.
Would this be in the same class as the Cadillac ct5
Because Cadillac is around 10,000 more $usd, I would say no, more so a class with Acura TLX. But yes it can be, which shows the value you receive with Honda 👍🏻
Does it have blind spot monitoring?
Yes it does
Should I trade a g37x with 120k miles for this car or no pls help y’all
Infiniti is a solid vehicle but if your getting a good deal, why not. The 2023 is refreshed so keep that in mind and they no longer offer the 2.0 turbo.
I have the 1.5T version in the Sport trim. The perfect sedan overall except for the CVT transmission which I hate.
I agree the cvt does change the drive but they are great vehicles 👍🏻
I love my 2022 1.5t Honda Accord Sport Special Edition, so far it is the best performing car I ever owned, yes it is slower than the 2.0, but the 1.5 is NOT slow (0 to 60 in 7.1-2 seconds, is not bad) and it's pretty damn quick on the freeway, no problems with passing power. This is my third Honda, I have purchased. through out my thirty years of driving. I have no regrets.
@@maceharris7656 my Camry SE does it 6.8/6.9, that’s really not bad for a hybrid sedan. Electric torque really helps out on acceleration.
@@tails300 Almost as fast as my 22' Accord Hybrid Sport. Yeah, the electric motor torque is good. I like that mine is all direct drive (no transmission), constant acceleration is so nice. Sonic grey pearl, like the car in this video. The hybrid isn't quite as fast as the 2.0t, but it's faster than the 1.5t, and much more efficient than either driving around town.

My 2017 tops out at 125-130
Hi, thanks for the review!
Do you suggest me Honda Civic or Accord? Its a hard choice for me.

ive been wanting to buy a honda accord, but I dont know if I should buy the 1.5t version or spend 5k more to get the 2.0t. Someone help me out.
Get the 2.0t you will be happy speeding the extra 💰
@@HawkeyeRides when the 2023 accord comes out do you think it will drop the price of a 2018 accord
@@trxmp24 yes 👍🏻
@@trxmp24 ...I bought a new 2021 Accord Sport 2.0T last year...if you can afford it...go for the 2.0...you get the big boy engine and the big boy transmission, and man I love driving it every day. Great car.
Will 2023 be redesigned?
Yes 👍🏻
When are they coming out?
You could have had it detailed prior to shooting.
They are remodeling, car wash has been down as they are building a new build in the back and it looks like a new car wash 😁👍🏻
I have a 2014 Honda Accord Sport 2.4L I4 NA. I'm considering upgrading to the 2.0T Sport with a sunroof would it be worth it?
I think you will be impressed with the 2.0 it has a good power mix and it’s more refined inside
this car is actually quicker than the 330i
That is correct

@@HawkeyeRides both cars say 160, u gonna tell me they cant go 160, 116, why would honda do that?
I currently drive a 2021 4Runner. I'm looking for a performance sedan as a 2nd car. Would you say the Honda Accord 2.0T Sport is a good choice?
Yeah it has the power and the sport that makes it fun. Plus the seats are comfortable for longer drives.
So now we're comparing economy cars with luxury ones?
I was telling my friend the other day that I should have just gotten the 2022 Accord, like the Touring trim and call it a day (and save at least $12k) 😅.
too bad canadian 2.0 sport doesnt come rear seat vent
Thanks for your insight
Faster than the maxima wow I had 4 maximas

Honda's lane departure system is way better than Toyota's.

The injectors are so loud In the new Hondas 😭
Depending on the trim level, the higher up you go the more quite the ride is
The 2.0 is pretty quiet
116 mph top speed isn’t too fast
Fast enough to get a ticket 😁👍🏻
😂😂 you’re right about that
It's governed at 126 not 116.
@@jamessephar9458 from Honda sources it is but I’m sure you may find different numbers, I only work with the manufacture of the vehicles I review 👍🏻
When will you ever need to go 116
Are we really comparing a Honda to a bmw ??
No such thing has a good Kia. So yeah I'd say so.
I don’t understand
ok so i am going to tell the truth about this car that most people will not admit.
@@Rip84LW what same spot was the paint issue?
