I mostly just solo stuff, so I have 2 main decks. A "small" deck with just a rnk 4 and rank 7 aoe with a couple blades. Its like 9 cards and its consistent enough for my needs. Then I have a boss deck which is the same stuff as the small deck with maybe another blade or 2, a potent feint, 1 heal for emergencies, and a couple strong single hits in case I'm fighting something with a lot of health. I usually fill the sideboard with a TC of whatever aura I want to use, or just 1 specific type of card that I know will be helpful in the given fight that I want to be able to access at all times. I don't need to be 100% optimal at all times I just want a deck thats consistent enough to where I get the things I want the vast majority of the time.
Way more people need to see this. Also another tip, boss decks for cheating bosses where you nees way more then 7 cards. You can just make a 2 gear set where the only differnce it one has a mob deck while one has a boss deck. Then you can just hot ket between them very quickly.
Good video, although I feel like you left out a crucial component of deck building which is the sideboard. Prisms, feints, enchants (at lower levels), and heals should all go here depending on the fight you're doing.
Wand cards are great 0 pip ways to break shields or finish off low hp monsters so gonna disagree with you a bit, while you are low level or mid level and you don't have piercing or critical they are quite useful.
I try to one-shot every enemy I face, so I have 2 AOE hit spells, one single target hit, and about a dozen blade spells and half a dozen traps, among a few sun spells. Doing 60k+ total damage(15K per enemy)at level 42 while still in mooshu in a single hit is REALLY fun.
When you are soloing, you basiaclly need to say "I am going to hit turn X, I want Y feints, and Z blades. What can I do to gaurntee I always have an ideal card to play, a feint + enchant, a pet feint, a normal feint, a sharpened blade, a blade, an enchanted hit. You should have no turn where you are stuck with cards and can't do excaly what you want. If the toughest mob in the area requires 2 blades and a mass prism, bring your enchant, blade 1, sharpen, blade 2, mass prism, and your hit. IF you need to triple feint a boss, bring your unique feints, (blades if you need them, else use shields to build pips, and your hit. Use 2 decks, one for trash and the other for bosses. It saves alot of time when questing if the only thing you need to to is switch gear when you see a boss. Always ask yourself, what is your worst hand, can I still get to my desired turns to kill? If you can't what is stopping it? Usuals if you map out what is needed each turn and worse case/niche cards you end up having max deck sizes around 12 cards while remaining able to always play the ideal card. Ideally you use treasure cards to deal with niche scenarios, these could be reshuffles, cleans, shatters, healing cards ect.
The player wiz teaching Ambrose about earth magic. And this is our wand, its called a Glock. When we duel its called to bust a cap Your opponent is called your opp And remember, stay strapped or get clapped
All I run on my accounts when questing is 2 aoe hits typically the wallaru hit and my rank 4 hit. 2 epics, 2 buffs (frenzy and a blade.) and a wand hit for incase my first aoe doesn’t kill or I get a weakness on me turn 1 after I frenzy
Legitimately what do you do if an enemy puts up a shield? with only 7 cards (effectively 5 after turn one) wouldnt a lucky placed shield by an enemy just lose you a duel?
as much as I agree its hard to say this video wasn't just a "Play like this so the game is faster for me" type of vid and lmao if this gets traction oh the chaos
I mean im just trying to be helpful not trying to say people cant play how they want. If it brings someone joy to pack a bunch of spells they should do that
I load every spell I own, and let the cards determine my strategy.
Same. Are you even a wizard if the heart of the cards isn't in your favor?

I would recommend adding 1 reshuffle from balance (or more if necessary because each allows you to effectively have another full deck).
the community seriously needs this lol
Especially the new players

Yeah I agree I should have delved into that, I might make a video on that too

short deck equals short fight

Thank you bc now I can set up perfectly

The Ambrose Glock meme will never not be funny 😂
Okay, but wait what about a healer build?
ok but if i try this strat i run out of cards long before the enemies are dead so what do i do
you can pack reshuffle in sideboard!
Legitimately what do you do if an enemy puts up a shield? with only 7 cards (effectively 5 after turn one) wouldnt a lucky placed shield by an enemy just lose you a duel?
@@acrios90 I am planning to remake this video as there are things i should have said but in side board you should always carry pierce and shatter
how do you deal with shield spam? or weaknesses?
Sideboard, I typically pack empowers and shatter in side. I should have touched on it in the video but yes use treasure cards
@@Wizheadpluto you also may need a reshuffle or 2
Senseless running around during a tutorial video is truly annoying. Pls don’t.

Suggesting deck setups in order to optimize fights isn’t selfish, it’s quite the opposite actually
These videos be cringe and very sweaty af!
Thanks for the engagement, appreciated!
How is it cringe? And optimizing is not the same as sweaty.
It's just how to play the game better, and he wasn't even toxic about it 💀
