If you haven't seen the previous video of fixing the exterior foundation cracks, click the link below for that! ruclips.net/video/FfCWMvHDCns/видео.html We are done fixing all the cracks! Well, except for the walls throughout the house and the cracks in the brick mortar 🤦🏻♀
thank you for sharing your journey. I'm researching and watching drylock videos because I have to do the same thing for my basement. The best part is when it's your house even if its not perfect, you learn without the hefty professional doing it price. I love diy projects. Great job!
I’m also renovating a basement. You apparently did a great job waterproofing, which is critical. One “tip” I can offer is don’t be afraid to tint. (I’d have darkened the light gray paint to hide the dark gray patches.)
Thanks for sharing your basement project. We are doing our basement now. It is so time consuming and messy. If possible, can you share the brand name of your dehumidifier. By the way, I love your paint inspector. 😊
Garage was erected 19 years ago so I don't think my cracks are foundation caused. We did have a tornado pass through last year & I can't think of anything else that would've caused cracks after nearly 20 years. Regardless I need to get the cracks repaired
Putting drylok, or any waterproofing on the inside of a block wall, will lead the disintegration of your block wall. Wall. The wall will still have water in it, and you're keeping the water in the block. You need a waterproof from the outside.

Couldn’t agree more! It gives you a greater appreciation for your house and really makes you look at things differently. Thank you!
I think the grey is lovely! You guys are supremely helpful. Thanks!
Glad we could help!
i really like they gray makes it look wider
Looks great!
Thank you!
Looks good you guys did a nice job. Just so you know you can paint over drylok with any color you like.
We did not know that! It has grown on us, but we may do that in the future! Thank you!
Good enough for a basement

Granted, the gray may have already been “dark enough” compared to other options.
Thanks for the tip.
I like it
Thank you!
Awesome
Getting ready to do the same thing with my new home. How has it held up over the last 2 and a half years?
It has held up pretty well. No issues for us.

Thank you! 🙏🏻 it was quite the project, but it is 100% worth it! Our basement dehumidifier is an Aprilaire model 1710.

amen
Wet the cracks before grinding, it really cuts down on the dust
Great tip! Thanks!
How long have the cracks been dry free?
The repair has worked great and we haven’t had any issues since the repair was done. Hope that helps.
Need drainage and sump pump first.
Already have that. Thanks
@chris_laura you had that before put dry lock? And is it a french drain around basement or just sunp pump in corner in case floods?
