Thank you for posting this! This was an historic game in many ways. It was Sparty's first bowl game since the 1966 Rose Bowl. It was Army West Point's first bowl game in program history. It was the the first bowl game to take place in the Midwest since the Great Lakes Bowl in 1947 at Cleveland's Municipal Stadium. And, finally, The Black Knights/Cadets became the first FBS team since WWII to win their Bowl Game Debut (it should be noted that a couple weeks later, Virginia would also win in their first ever bowl game, when they beat Purdue in the Peach Bowl). Truly a game of firsts here.
