I killed it at lvl 17, it took 70 minutes, I didn't use the immobilizer talent but I played similarly with the martial art combo at maximum (You'll be able to use 2 charged attacks in the combo while it's paralyzed). Remember to have equipped in Spirit, Wandering Haunting although the skill deals considerable damage the most important thing is the extra defense from having it equipped. Make sure you've talked to the Black Monkey beforehand, he'll increase the level of your Poronga, and equip the skill that heals a little after using the poronga. Phase 1 you need to play safe, and save the Skill on Default keybind 4, to Phase 2 you will dead a bunch of damage and the funniest part is that after you defeat him, you unlock the new armor that makes you stronger by fighting in the water.

Okay took my about 20 tries but he IS manageable. Did it at level 12. And didn’t use anything else except the immobile spell and used it once. At half health on 2nd phase like the vid suggested. I found it’s much easier to close distance with a jump light attack and occasionally following that up with the light heavy air combo but this is risky as you are left open for a brief moment and he will punish you with that cutter attack first phase of you use it too much. 2nd phase I just stayed close and dodge behind him and hi misses most of his attacks. I jump light attack when he does that sweep in the water as it creates distance I avoided the follow-up from it completely. During his health regen is when o started using immobilize and did a lv3 charged heavy attack for massive damage. He went down in about 4 mins.

Okay, like most bosses. This guy whipped me last night before I quit for the night. I'll get my revenge later today (Hopefully without this video but I did save it just in case)
Beat it after 2 hrs. Didn't need to go back and collect recourses. Didn't use the special spells he recommended to start out with. The 2nd phase was so annoying. I noticed if I don't give him any room to breathe, and keep following him when he dashes away.. he gets less attacks off and it makes it easier to get your attacks in lol.
Yeah wow hardest boss so far...5 hours later i finally got him! Everyones right though you can't just rush in hoping to pull off heavys attacks everytime. You do have to observe and learn his attack sequences. I got him by light attacking when he finishes an attack whist using spells. Wandering wight also helps in dealing good damage in second phase
I'm level 17 I don't know how the heck anyone can do this at this level and people saying they're level 50 or have a transformation spell I'm confused because I'm just going along the path. I really didn't find any diversion to do for me to get to level 50 before this boss. Also, I didn't get any other special aside from immobilization prior to the boss.
@@zay5279 I eventually beat him at level 17 that same day. It was all about just waiting for him to finish his moves and then getting three hits in and backing off and waiting for the immobilization to kick back in so I can just use another heavy attack.
I don't consider myself a green hand at playing any computer games. But this boss seems a serious pain in the ass. It uses different combos to finish me off very quickly. I can't seem to find a pattern how this guy reacts consistently just like what this video shows. Maybe I have too many computing resources for this guy to think differently.

bro...i re did my shit because of your video...put all my shit in health annnnd beat him on the first try, also held until half way of second phase...THANK YOU!
Ok so this Boss is super confusing and I played it like 30 times which was hell annoying. A super easy way to beat this boss which isn't explained if you just play the game through is that you can harvest XP and sparks by just grinding through the earlier levels and upgrading your smash stance as high as you can. Also you should beat the wandering angry baby, and the fire guy to get their magic sauce. After this the last hit of the combo can stagger this enemy and get some hits in. Also in the second stage. The super powered hit also staggers him. The more you unleash with no mercy that final hit and powered hits, The angry baby headbut and the fire guy dash attack will kill this boss without the infuriating unable to dodge effects. Be on the offensive and hit him to stagger him like chain the big hits together. After you kill this guy and power up your character this game is so fun and awesome. Plus he gives you awesome armour and a staff. So just kill him with a powered up character and the game gets awesome fast. Chapter 2 is so good and I was so demoralised and confused in this section. They should fix it.

He’s not that hard. You just have to keep your calm and don’t smash your controller
Seriously this game, you don’t parry, you don’t dodge, you run away and wait until you can land one attack. And people say this is about skill? It’s literally learning a choreography
Skill issue.
You do dodge though, you run if you want to cheese the boss which isn't fun. Skill issue. Learn to dodge
People like to convince themselves into believing games like this are fun
it’s rewarding, an who doesn’t like a nice challenge
@@gunnerhockman846Just time and money wasted.
@@rahulmallah8306 just learn the game. learn your bosses and it’s not to bad. it’s hard but it’s not impossible. use some strategy
@@gunnerhockman846 There is no true strategy for this boss, it’s literally like less than 3 hours into the game. And you can barely use any strategy because of it, I’d recommend to delete this poorly designed game… They have the most shitty designs; "Oh we’ll just make the boss design ass to create a fake illusion that it’s hard and just a skill issue"
Skill issue
Subscribed! Great vids man thank you
Thank you! 🙏🏼
His second faze have some attacks that's impossible to dodge
I just made it, after two days of learning basically what a good dodge and timing is. This is all the secret - good luck everyone!
I will never believe people find these types of games fun, yes it is a boss but me being level 13 and getting put against this is actually sinister.
Bro, he keeps beating me, so i went back to the start of the game and did the snake trial several times. I'm at level 31 and is literally the same i do the same damage that i was doing at level 12 now all those perks and levels are just a scam
@@gesucastello1986 oh nah i beat him right after I typed this comment aha
@@fishy2545
So why do you play lol
@@x-tr-ip-py-x755 because i bet him
Your vids are super helpful. Great that you show you stats as well. It would be great if you could explain their attack patterns and what to look for in order to dodge on time
Good stuff my guy, I was struggling for a good bit, but thanks to you bro, I defeated this enemy, I thank you good sir, keep up the content sir 😁👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
you beat him without drinking any potion. what a chad
this is effing ridiculous...and i've beaten every souls game and love them. This is downright ridiculous and absurd. LET US LEVEL UP STRENGTH JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
It’s dumb how you have to wait till lvl 45
This game is a cakewalk compared to souls games😂 no way u think it’s hard
@@iroh9010 Played Dark souls 3 and finished it along with both the dlcs, played bloodborne and almost finished it, played sekiro and finished it, played elden ring and finished it along with the dlc, and ill out right tell you that this is like if you compared terraria to doom.
I agree. I've beaten every boss in every From game and this boss is idiotic. It's way way too difficult and cheap for so early in the game, they need to nerf it.
Okay, like most bosses. This guy whipped me last night before I quit for the night. I'll get my revenge later today (Hopefully without this video but I did save it just in case)
Wow thanks these tips help a bunch, amazing work.
Was stuck until this video! Subscriiiiiibed!
Thnaks brother that’s a quite good idea thanks, let me try and move on
Beat it after 2 hrs. Didn't need to go back and collect recourses. Didn't use the special spells he recommended to start out with. The 2nd phase was so annoying. I noticed if I don't give him any room to breathe, and keep following him when he dashes away.. he gets less attacks off and it makes it easier to get your attacks in lol.
i died like 20 times then i just get him in the corner in the right side and keep him there and keep hitting and keep dodging😅😅😅 luckily i beat him
if you guys thought this was hard, he's only the first out of 100 bosses in this game.
I’ve been at him for 3 days can’t get him no matter how hard I try especially since he just heals
Omg this looks like a good strat! Im gonna try it out next session.
This boss made me shelf the game. I can't even bring myself to play it anymore. I'll be stuck in chapter one forever.
Skill issue
I got to the second phase but then I ran out of mana
Yeah, immobalize him 1 or two times in the first phase. Then save your spells/skills to the last half of his health
Same
People will go back and grind enemies to level up
@@zay5279 I eventually beat him at level 17 that same day. It was all about just waiting for him to finish his moves and then getting three hits in and backing off and waiting for the immobilization to kick back in so I can just use another heavy attack.
@@HiroThatDude okok
lv 32. im struggling with this one
This is so well dove it’s so much dodging is the statergy
I don't consider myself a green hand at playing any computer games. But this boss seems a serious pain in the ass. It uses different combos to finish me off very quickly. I can't seem to find a pattern how this guy reacts consistently just like what this video shows. Maybe I have too many computing resources for this guy to think differently.
Thx for the video, I was way to impatient and tried to take him head on all the time, before watching this :P
Great help! What song did you use for this video?😂
finally got it with your Tipps thx 😊
I was so happy when i beat him. Then he changed into a bloofy snake and killed me
Haha i would have loved to see your face when you realized the fight was not over 🤣🤣 sorry! 😅
You’re a Legend man thanks 🙏🏻
Finally beat this dude, a solid 20+ try’s 😂
how unfair is it that this boss regains health over time when its not hit for like 3 seconds
Thank you very much for this video, on did it on my 4th attempt.Once you get his pattern and his spear trust timing,it's easy.Disclamer, I'm not a Souls like player, have bad reflexes and I'm in my mid 40s. If I can do it, so can you..btw level 19 so nothing too powerful.
Thank you, you helped me a lot
this must be the longest game of hit and run but hey it works...it took me about a couple hours to beat him and I barely had any health left towards the end
this boss is a pain
Thanks for your tips I just defeated him
Thanks homie, appreciate the help
It took me 2 hours to beat this boss I almost, broke the controller because of the rage I felt thou
best way to defeat him is when he lunge there is window for 2 to 3 attacks even in the second phase. just be patience and wait for that opportunity to punish.
I can confirm i used this method once after trying multiple times and yes i knocked him out
I was struggling bad with this boss. By the time I beat him, I think I was at level 35 lol. I didn’t even know about the red tide’s transformation until after I beat the first chapter 😅
Best guide ever for this *** boss!
I figured out this strat aswell, i figured that jumping light attacks were quite safe aswell. But the fight gets so boring. Its much more fun trying to hit with a heavy attack and being up close, thats why im still at this boss after 1h 😢.
I got 60 sparks after grinding still can't beat him lol
I just beat him rn within like 15-20 sparks
Advice to beginner players of this style of action / Soulslike games. GIT GUD!!
Gig gud only works if you have hrs of time to game. Working adults with fam that only have 1-2hr at most to game? Yeah no😂
Git fukd! Victor Mature wannabe.
bro...i re did my shit because of your video...put all my shit in health annnnd beat him on the first try, also held until half way of second phase...THANK YOU!
Thanks man, really helpful 👍👍👍
