In one of my runs I had to kick a player because he kept killing the team, because he kept jumping in front of them with this strategy of reloading the dodge weapon, In the end he caused the biggest damage because there was only him alive. If you want to use this strategy then use it far away from the warlock well or get kicked out like this guy
Pushing meta is a poison to the entire community. People should play with whatever best suits them personally. Doesn't matter what the damage of a weapon is if a player is not comfortable with or even likes a particular "meta" weapon. All pushing meta does is further entitle elitists and discourage more casual players from playing.
This is content you're going to see before every single day 1 raid release ever. This has been a thing for awhile. Your weapon choice is personal preference. I still might clown you for using a machine gun for damage though 😅 Also if anything i would say these videos give casual players an idea of what weapons are the best in the game currently. You don't have to use any of this to clear a raid encounter. A day 1 is a different story but new players probably won't be participating in that anyway.

There is no ingame Dummy to Theorycraft from Maths to Gameplay and that's actually insanely sad to expect people to achieve "hard" raids and activities, expect people to compete in the Pantheon or during Day1s with such casual ingame descriptions and litterally 0 numbers
I've seen so much people putting 3 Arc Resistances on their chest armor thinking they'd be invicible and they get destroyed by snipers, why ? because the description is litterally "you take less dmg from arc sources, having more mods increases the effect but each copy is less effective" like... please bungie... please tell people that 1 resistance is like 10%, 2 is 15% and 3 is 18%, and that by simply THINKING without data mining / theorycraft you'd know that 2 Arc Resistances + 1 long distance resistance is Mathematicaly more effective in a long range situation than 3 arc resistances (10+5+10 = 25 > 10+5+3 = 18%).
My english is not perfect and I sometime struggle to explain what I'm trying to say, hope you'll understand but I'm always here to explain it differently if it can make my words clearer
Anyway still a cool video!
Tractor/Acrius, cascade point shotgun, NoBackup
Lucky Pants + New Goldy Sniper + GL seems like it would be crazy burst
Izzi nessy edge go dumb 🗣️🗣️🗣️
The real meta for DPS is Stun Seed read backwards
"read backwards" What year is it? Did we go back in time to 2003?
What’s really funny is that Stun Seed could actually be Dees Nuts exotic perk.
Damn, got me. Ggs
Kneel the King is back
I think its gonna be outbreak.
Stop thinking you're not good at it
@@Just_be_yourself109 learn how to laugh at satire please. Thank you.
Are fusions viable at all? That's the only thing missing here I think. Is it because they're just bad? Lol
This constant weapon swapping is kinda wack I’m not gonna lie. I got tired of cranking 90s on fortnite this feels the same.
To answer this without watching the video I’m guessing black spindle
no, because black spindle is not in destiny 2, only d1
I want to see the total damage numbers on my retrofit excapade it has to be close to 5 million
Thanks for the numbers.
Dps meta gonna be either titan chest exotic with rocket or celestial gg sniper exotic+rocket
There are more changes coming that they havent made public
Can't believe I could have been reloading all my weapons with a simple air dodge this whole time. I feel like I was just blessed with esoteric knowledge meant for the gods.
U need the rain of fire exotic boots. Highly suggest, one of my favorite exotics to use
Final Shape downtime got me feelin weird. It’s like some kind of waiting room.
Hopefully it means no weasel issues, tho it probably be weasel city anyways...
its the calm before the storm
Nice, but all considering, all previous Day1 raid, eventually surprised many of us ... anyhow thanks, and hopefully you will stick more to game as before :) but after all those years, it has to be harder and harder
I'm all about ammo economy. Apex and dragons breath are my go tos. I can do a bunch of damage without dumping all my ammo.
Was here less than a minute
I am definitely using these
I didn’t get a single good Edge Transit 😭
Ok, no one seems to be talking about it so i might just be wrong, or have fckd up attention span.
I felt like this video was not very well put together, you just throw numbers on the screen and talk really slow in a monotone voice without separating the video in segments.
By the time you analysed the next weapon, i had already forgotten about the previous one
You should maybe at least put the names of the weapons you are using on the screen or something
In one of my runs I had to kick a player because he kept killing the team, because he kept jumping in front of them with this strategy of reloading the dodge weapon, In the end he caused the biggest damage because there was only him alive. If you want to use this strategy then use it far away from the warlock well or get kicked out like this guy
ok mr tough guy
@@spaceship75 ?
@@Raio_arma look just because you find players in the destiny Afghanistan lfg doesn’t mean the average player does that

If you ask the Hive I'm pretty sure the DPS meta IS the final shape

Still Hunt is just gonna vault my Izi for many encounters.😂
is this aegis video for kids version or what? same weapons, rotations, but a lot more complicate in his video with graphs and etc
The place where this matters isn’t exactly in content where you can play what you want.
💀
for day 1 clears, following meta absolutely does matter. save your hipster loadouts for when we're not on contest mode
actually is good to mix personal preference WITH meta cause if u are going only with personal preference you are going to make ur teammates life hard than helping them
10% view/like percent is pretty dam good
This is a horribly made video.
I should have unlocked the CloudStrike Catalyst.. WHOOPS.. 🗿🗿💯💯✌🏽✌🏽
Stop abbreviating things
Literally only abbreviated a couple things, you just like to complain on his videos 😂
Stop crying on every single comment, how sad is your life? Depressed? Get a job or something..
Should have added some machines guns DPS, magazine, and total in, for both Retrofit Escapade(fourth times and one for all) and Hammerhead (Fourth times and killing tally or surrounded). Though obviously those are harder to test on this specific boss as they need a few add kills/hits first. Would be nice to see their damage comparison though
Edit: according to another video, numbers taken for those guns are:
Hammerhead total damage 2.9 million
Retrofit Escapade 2.3~ total damage
This is a dps meta vid. Machine guns are not in contention for meta💀
@@iversityy4566 lmfaooo
Machine guns are for ad clear, they are horrible for boss damage.
@@iversityy4566 Just went and did some research on Aztec damage test video:
Hammerhead total damage 2.9 million
Retrofit Escapade 2.3~ total damage
Different enemy tested, as one is raid boss and one strike boss, but both should have the same damage resistance for boss type so should be correct.
The secret is don’t use machine guns for DPS. There is always a better option, stick to machine guns for ad clear

Anyang reason this clown doesn’t mention thread of ascent on broodweaver? Broodweaver is one of the best dps subclasses in the game. Needlestorm is a solid 415k plus you get to skip reloads.
Just using the weapons for all classes with no gimic ie thread or hunter dodge he's not a clown he's just not az or ageis using everything to max a rotation
@@btr1011strand dps is generally just Better at weapon dps than other classes. The fact that people think looking down to reload your heavy is hard goes to show his audiences skill level. It’s not harder than dodging while trying not to kill your teamates
He's just showing the weapons to keep a solid baseline of information, obviously adding abilities and supers is better
