History is often misconstrued by the victors in the game of throne universe. I think this would be a golden opportunity to show that she survived and history was rewritten by later generations as a slight to the “mad king”
That's nonsensical. You can't fake the infamous execution of a famous person retroactively. People witnessed it and wrote about it in many different accounts. The circumstances of her death are an historical fact. It's like claiming Julius Caesar wasn't actually murdered by conspirators, that's just something generations later made up. Nobody after generations has incentive to do that and it also wouldn't work.

She doesn't die there, she actually takes Kings landing for some time but she has no support from the smallfolk (IE the one thing Otto did before being dismissed had held together) and in case you haven't caught on yet after tonight's episode, this war is the reason for there being no dragons in westeros, but it wasn't like they all died in battle. She ends up fleeing back to Dragonstone, but unbeknowst to her, a now crippled Sunfyre and crippled Aegon are awaiting her. She is burned alive, but Aegon actually doesn't kill the son she has with her... I think this was Aegon who went on to become Aegon the younger... anyways... I wonder how they'll go about Aegon's injuries in the series.
