I’m so confused. How did you get the ink cartridge out? I have the Same exact model # on mine but ink cartridges are in very front right - I can’t get them out. I got this in May of 2022 - I know the design hasn’t changed that much.
I just bought the epson T-2800 recently & I didn’t realize the ink I had was regular ink. Wanted a sublimation ink. Now is my biggest problem on how to convert them. I’m scared if I do like this I might damage the printer.
I changed the ink as per your video. I didn't spill a drop! Shocking. My next problem, the printer will not print anything. The printer is running properly, but nothing comes out on the paper. Do you have any suggestions?

OK, I do not understand why you would remove the Epson ink and replace it with a SUBLIMATION INK? Are the inks not compatible?? Why not wait till you are out of ink to do this rather than wast so much ink???
@Celeste Tyler By now, you have either tossed the printer or figured it out. For others with the problem: If the printer is on then turn it off. Have one hand on the power cord (either at the wall or at the back of the printer) and turn it back on. You will hear the printer head move as part of the coming on process. When you hear it move then UNPLUG the power cord. You can then freely move the printer head left or right by hand.

How did you get the ink slots to slide to the left after you got all of the screws out?

You start print and then unplug it while it's printing and it will unlock it so you'll be able to move it freely😊
how did you get your lid all the way open?

how did you glide the white box that connects all the tubes so easily. I am having a hard time gliding it back.
I had to start the printer and then move it then I shut the printer back off

I think that’s what I need to do. Let all the regular ink out then I can use the sublimation ink next.
Maybe you don't want to wait to do that or you don't want to waste paper printing out all the ink
