    I just found your channel two days ago. You have me considering the mug press. Thanks for showing me this. I just got the epson printer and I am waiting on the ink. I am so excited to try my first print.

      You'll love it! I was nervous if it'd print right after I changed the ink but it all worked out well!

    Hi, did you push any of the cleaning solution through the tanks and hoses? Or is cleaning the cartridges enough? Thank you!😊

    Hey Boo I was wondering what printer should I buy to do my tshirts the canan pix Ma ix6820? Or the epsom eco tank

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  2 года назад

      Well, I'm a bit biased. I us
      prefer the eco tank because it's so easy to refill. I have the Pixma as well but I use it for normal inkjet prints.

    When you first purchased this printer is the ink already filled? Trying to see if I can skip the removal and cleaning stepa with a new printer

      Nope it's not, so yes you can 👍🏽

    hey , I really enjoy your videos. thank you so much. I still wondering some about shirts printing
    1. can you print into BLACK shirts with either epson 2720 or your old canon?
    2. what kind of papers you use for shirt printing? Can I have your paper link?
    3. How long will the inks stay on shirts? Do we have to use wax more to make the inks stay better?
    Thanks in advance and happy holiday Porcha!

    Hey hi! New subbie I think I just binge watched your last 7 videos! Question for you I have an epson c88 printer and I don’t think it had the eco tank but I really appreciate you sharing everything!

      Hi Jossie! Appreciate the sub 😁
      Yeah look into a Eco Tank 2720, sublimation ink, and paper, you could get going for under $300.

    How did you open your printer? To clean the head

    • @ColorMePorcha

      Hi, I lifted the top cover and removed the screws from the white grate to access the tubes that would allow me to use a solution to clean each of the printer heads

    i'm glad i'm seeing this. I have this printer.. what's the different between the current ink and sublimation ink? I thought that the printer i have was already a sublimation printer when i saw your mug press tutorial lol..

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  3 года назад +2

      Hi Cindy!
      So the difference is in the ink. The ink that comes with an inkject printer is just for paper products and sublimation ink, with the use of heat and pressure becomes a part of the item you're pressing (as long as it has that polyester coating aka sublimation ready).
      Hope that helps.

      @@ColorMePorcha Thanks Mrs Porsha! That does help a lot. I have the 2760 but I do need it for work and other things. So I'm on a mission getting another Epson for sublimation. I love your videos!

    Thanks, great video. What's the least expensive yet quality eco tank printer that can be converted? It's for my kids 9 and 12, I'd rather go cheap and let them learn, build and grow to before purchasing a more expensive one.
    They are so over the vinyl. 😆

      LOL! Try Googling just ecotank and you can find them as low as $100. Best wishes ✨️

    Hi Porcha! I'm a new subby in having found your channel a couple of days ago. I've enjoyed what I've seen. Your tutorials are clear and concise. My question is: When you put the sublimation ink into the printer, did it stop on it's own when full or did you have to guesstimate that the tank was full?

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  3 года назад +1

      Hi Carla, appreciate the feedback😊
      It stopped on it's own, very easy process.

    So I’m from the uk, and looked into getting the same printer, but for whatever reason I can’t find it!
    Is there an alternative, we do have Epsom eco tanks, just not the 2760 🙄😂

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  3 года назад

      Hi! Any of the ET models that have the visible tank can be easily used for sublimation. So you just gotta pick one 😊

  • @mohoganieify

    Hi Porcha!! I am new to Sublimation, Can i do regular printing once I change my tank to Sublimation or do I have to change back. Because I am doing sublimation and regular projects.

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  3 года назад

      Hi Marcella! I suggest having 2 separate printers. It'd be a hassle to switch back and forth. I use my Ecotank from sublimation and my Canon for regular printer. Best wishes 😊

    When you purchased the printer, did it already have the regular ink in it? Or did you use it as a regular printer first then switch it out to a sublimation printer?

    Hi - do you recommend this printer for printing on Vinyl? Is the quality very good?

    • @ColorMePorcha

      Hi!
      So I've only used it to print on regular and sublimation paper the quality was good with those. Haven't tried printable vinyl yet.

    Have to had any problems with it since you've switched it to a siblings printer?

    • @ColorMePorcha
      @ColorMePorcha  3 года назад

      I haven't. One thing I'm doing differently now that I've converted it is, I'm turning it off after every use. This is supposed to help keep the nozzles from drying out. I wasn't doing that before.
