Would you say a 1000usd budget is ok for Kenya trying to live as an average local?
For rent only, or food and rent?
@@JamCan6322 for full monthly expenses for one person
Yes, it is. Keeping in mind, it depends on the type of lifestyle you want to live. Kenya is a little bit more developed than tanzania .things would cost a bit, but for $1000 usd per month, a person can have an amazing lifestyle in Kenya
I live in Mombasa Kenya... monthly budget rent, WiFi, eclectic and food $650.00usd

Why are the properties walled and gated? Does that imply a lack of safety and sense of real community?
It's a cultural thing in Africa

Do you have a online business to generate income?
Personally I don't. But it is highly recommended to have a source of income if a person decides to relocate to Africa. Retirement or pension. The ability to work online or an online business.
I'm here visiting and I don't want to go back to the US
Who would want to Yvonne? Too.kuch acidity

Dear Sir good morning to you and your family. My name is Vansworth McKenzie. My reason for writing to you is because I would like tointroduce my history book to you and your family and friends. My history book is called the Untold Forgotten Great Civilization of the people of Ham, better known as the so-call Black people, so-call African people, and the so-call Middle Eastern people. My reason for using the word so-call, it is because all the various names I have mention above, are colonial and slavery names.
You're absolutely correct
Are in Darsalam

The people in Tanzania are not making the same money as toronto, so you cannot compare. When people start moving to Africa house prices will rise. I use to pay140.00 $ per month for a 2bedroom so don't compare its stupid. The grenadian go erment is asking grenadians in toronto to help them build a hospital there, I hope you can contribute something to your birth country. I sent them your blog in case they want to talk to you about helping out.
Sorry, no, I won't. I CHOOSE not to help the Grenadian government build anything.
Its like a father giving his son advice on how to live alone.... Hahaha
