@B45 Come on..You know thats a lie🤦♀️. Media has been known to ignore the positive side of Africa while exaggerating the negative side. Its evident in the way they issue travel advisories to these other countries while the insecurity in their country is just as much. But good thing the internet is helping break these stereotypes one at a time.
@B45 first in Germany they consider Africa as a country and secondly the most of them know that there is any kind of development form there. That people live primitively and are even like that. When they then make the experience that many africans here are educated and graduated, they ask themselve if we have learnt everything from here. that is the consequence of showing only one side of a continent.

Hello Jason. Thoroughly enjoyed your video presentation of Dar es salaam. I’m from London, England, and have been living in Mbezi Beach, Dar since Nov 2021 (I now have a 2 year stay). Especially loved the artist village. I’m looking for large pictures to decorate the flat. It’s a shame that our timings didn’t clash, my wife and I could’ve invited you round for dinner & hear your experience of your travels through Africa so far. My wife is from Dar. We haven’t visited Oyster Bay/Coco Beach as yet, so your video gave me some insight. My wife has been away from the country for some years, so we are both adapting here. We wish you all the best in your venture around Africa.
I never knew the art was called Tingatinga. Love to learn new things...I see it a lot in my hometown at art festivals , etc...looking forward to Zanzibar...🙌

Wooh, I watched this video out of curiosity. To see a tourist thoughts about our Dar es Salaam . You did a great job. I suggest next time try eating Ndizi nyama, I prefer the ones from Bukoba. Also try an exploration to Mbeya and Mwanza city. On that note I will suggest you also visit Kilwa town since you seemed impressed with the catholic cathedral. Kilwa is one of the ancient places in the world. One of the oldest towns in Tanzania. This reminds me of the road trip I took in June 2021, from Dar es Salam, to Kilwa town, Lindi town to Mtwara and Songea. All are historical towns. I remember the tour guide telling that one of the oldest mosque is in Kilwa. It was amazing. Try it. Welcome again. 😀
